Obama's AG #1 Job: "Investigate Bush" [Nice Deb]

I actually remember when he said that. I thought, "Wow...guy's a real moonbat:

H/T to Pat Dollard who sounds a little tense:

And here is the plan …

Not satisfied with taking the Oval Office, and quite possibly the non-filibuster control of the Congress, the democrats Master Plan is to spend their time, and our money, investigating and destroying the Bush administration, and by that the Republican Party.

Questioning EVERY decision this President made in his eight years … I do not believe this has ever been done before.

Why weren’t Clinton’s Executive Orders questioned, when so many of them sold off our land to foreign buyers, and set aside prime energy drilling areas as ‘national parks’?

And THIS from the man who says he intends to use HIS Executive Order powers to push through everything he and the Congressional democrats want … against what the people of this country might want.

I can't wait to find out which parts of the "fundamentally flawed" constitution were violated.

CORRECTION:

I'm told that the exact quote was that the Constitution is, "'fatally' flawed".

17 Smooth move...guarantee the outgoing administration doesn't give you one iota of help getting up to speed anymore, so you can stumble like a fool right out of the gate.  If Obama weren't perfect and flawless, one might be tempted to consider this a rookie mistake that wouldn't even happen at the level of county government, but I'm sure there's some deeper truth and strategy at work here.

Thanks Ginger, cos look what I just found on that site:

ISRA Alert: County County Phone Poll For Gun Control Ordinance Is Still Active
Larry Suffredin and his cohorts on the Cook County Board are up to their old tricks again.
In order to justify passage of gun control ordinances designed to close all gun shops and ban and confiscate most guns owned by citizens of the county, the Cook County Board is conducting a telephone poll where callers can vote for or against the gun control ordinances.
Like everything else in Cook County, this poll is probably rigged. So, it's very important that you do the following:
1. Call 1-312 -603-6400 and select Option #1 when prompted. At the next prompt, select Option #1 again. Then, when prompted to vote on the gun control ordinance, press #2.
2. You should also forward this alert on to all your gun owning friends and have them vote too.
3. You should also post this alert to any and all Internet bulletin boards or blogs to which you belong.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RESIDENT OF COOK COUNTY TO VOTE!
Let's beat Suffredin at his own game! And, save your guns.

It could be much, much worse than that. If they'd studied actual history rather than "social justice", they'd have learned about Julius Caesar.

20 Ehh, don't worry too much.  He told every interest group he met with during the election that the "first thing he was going to do" was whatever that group's pet project was.  FOCA, Employee Free Choice Act, this nonsense - hell, he even told ACORN that they would be shaping the transition.  Now we hear he's unlikely to institute much change on interrogations, he's likely to have John Brennan take over at CIA and his new Attorney General is on record saying terrorists have no rights under the Geneva Convention.  His domestic agenda is likely to be fairly liberal, but I don't know about his foreign policy.  Either way, there's gonna be a whole heck of a lot of pissed off moonbats before long.  I can't wait.

24 If Obama tries this ... he's in for a world of shit.  I really am not up for this Soviet style ... "Gulag the Outgoing Guy" type of leadership.  And there is going to be a revolt from the people - not just legally, but I'm talking about civil disobedience and mobs.

Whatever you think of Bush - the man has kept us safe since 9-11.  We owe him our loyalty for that - at least inasfar as we commit ourselves to not allow Barack Mugabe to throw the guy in the gulag.

If we take this sitting down - we're pussies.  This is the kind of thing that Jefferson was talking about when he spoke about "revolutions" occasionally.  If Obama does this - screw it all.  I'm ready for a fight.

Posted by: HondaV65 at November 22, 2008 08:13 AM (08/AR)

25 This will certainly be an interested 4 (maybe 8 years). I actually want the bozos in Washington to "investigate" the Bush administration. I want to see the corrupt Democrat asses perform. They're so good at being just that.

And no Fannie and Freddie will live and grow. Nothing will be brought to light. Most people are uncurious. If MSM says something is not important -- so it shall be. Pathetic.

Most interesting will be how creepy Obama fares. I get a slight vibe of panic on his part from his appointments so far.

I think this guy has been handled all his life. He's had some very radical actors around him and hasn't had to self-manage or educate himself independent of that. I don't think he has foundation or grounding. His handlers keep him in check, but sometimes he loses it and actually reveals himself. When he does that, I get "empty."

I think he just wants to exercise, eat what he wants (waffles, corn beef, etc.) have his cigarettes, pacify his wife so she doesn't nag him, and read he speeches in front of the lights.
It's a great act.

39 Oh yeah.  I ran across a lecture on TV given by Samantha Power about 8 months ago.  I did not know who she was at the time, but I sat riveted during the q&a as she unabashedly stated that Bush should be prosecuted for war crimes. She was, at the time of the lecture, one of the Obama campaign's  foreign policy advisers. She was later dumped because she called Hillary a "monster".  Interesting priorities.

At the end of the lecture, a relative's name appeared as one of the philanthropy sponsors of the lecture series, making it appear that they condoned the concepts presented.   That funding got cut off right fast upon making her aware.

Don't forget to hit them ALL in the wallet when appropriate.
