People who have attended the No On Prop 8 rallies claim there's been a lot of racism and N-bombs aimed towards black people, whom the gay protesters claim are the big reason that Prop 8 passed. http://tiny.cc/vHGnb Anyone else find it ironic that Nov. 4, a day sold as "America transcending racism", seems to have opened up a new front of racism as a result? well I don't mean I love gays calling black people the n-word, I'm just loving the internecine warfare.
See, when you have a big win, the factions start fighting over the pie. That's how we get on top again: make them fight amongst themselves. Obama did NOT back gay marriage. Say he loses the gay vote in 2012? Good thing for the GOP, yes? Posted by: ms. docweasel at November 08, 2008 12:54 AM (SOSlE) Posted by: Shy Yll at November 08, 2008 12:54 AM (301dE) 13

#11 Good point .. divided they fall. The trouble is they fought because of chnace, not because of our designs. We might want to take a closer look at Comrade Alinski's "Rules for radicals". Doing this for finding out how to defeat thier strategy. One way is to figure out a way to turn thier strength into a weakness Then we need to compare Mao's 'Guerilla Warfare' with Anti Guerilla or Counterinsurgency strategy, for methods. Edward Lansdale wrote some interesting stuff on the topic. Posted by: Cromagnum at November 08, 2008 01:02 AM (j5MnB) 15

Cromagnum, that's tactics. Let's win the strategic fight.
We need to identify what it means to be conservative. We need to make sure the tent is big enough to win, but not so big as to have no meaning. We need to identify conservative candidates who are in it to enact a conservative agenda, not maintain themselves in office for perpetuity. Define the conservative message, and sell it. That's what wins. And for God's sake, no more old gasbags from the fucking Senate. Posted by: XBradTC at November 08, 2008 01:07 AM (6vAfW) 17

Agreed Xbrad .. Identify what we are .. and vet our people accordingly What I am saying, is that you also have to understand the enemy, and how they do business, not from merely a tactics level, but from a strategey level. Then we need to develop a counter strategy. This is what Treacher also said recently. We wont be fighting 2010 and 2012 with the same weapons and tactics. We know that they have adapted to whatever 'new' tactics we used in 2008. They will try to emasculate the only media voice we had. We lacked a coherant strategy in 2008, which led to a set of mishandled tactics. We need "marketing warfare", not about a brand or stupid neo-con change crap, but rather the image, method, and the set of warfare principles to follow for our victory.

http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/194620.php Music sucks, and the Bush/Michael Ware intro can be skipped, but once you get through that you get to see the most amazing high-altitude corpse-cartwheels and disintegrations ever caught on film. I never knew Hellfire missiles made guys fly! Will we keep sending terrorists to Allah after January 20, 2009? Dunno. I'm starting to think yes, given that President-elect D'ohbama seems to change his mind the second he's criticized. If we scream loud enough, I think he'll let us win in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was downtown for Operation Al Fajr (Phantom Fury was a much cooler name) and you would have been lucky to find stacked stones. There were areas of Fallujah where it looked like we set back their urbanization 200 years...which would be awesome if that wasn't some poor bastard's neighborhood. AQI chose where to take the stand - we responded in kind, houses be damned.

Anyone know of a company that makes new versions of the Enfield rifle for cheap? Gibbs Rifle Co. used to make one for under $200, but they are gone unfortunately. One of Obama's main gun targets will be semi-autos, so I'm looking for an inexpensive bolt action that's good for defense. Any decent military surplus or copy of a military surplus will do. Military surplus type rifles will have metal sights, no need for a scope. I prefer .308, because of ammo availability. Posted by: adolfo_velasquez at November 08, 2008 01:42 AM (dHRpI) 39

56 - I feel sorry for them. Having no concept of liberty or what it is to care for something so much that you would die for it they live hollow lives playing hacky sack and talking about how awesome April 21st is. Poor liberals.
57 - Which is worse? The gunshot wound, or finding out that you based your violent existence on a lie? I like to picture hell as Dante did, which is to say Islamic adherents are giving blow jobs to pack animals round the clock. I never did understand Dante. 58 - I should have been clearer. It is surprisingly dangerous for a military person to divulge info on the internet and I was being somewhat vague intentionally. I watch that video every year because it would be disgusting to me if I didn't. Complacency works towards our enemy's goal, not ours. I guess I need to remind myself why I hate them so that I don't start hating for "hate's sake." I'm headed to bed folks. If you see a "C-130 rollin' down the strip" tell them I'm long gone. Posted by: Travis No, but I'm not sure how longlasting or widespread the background check paperwork is. I'd love to get a short SKS - I think they're called paratrooper SKS's, but I'm just really nervous about confiscation. Posted by: adolfo_velasquez at November 08, 2008 03:06 AM (dHRpI) 67
They likely do have a record of who bought what, despite any law on the books that say they shouldn't. Something like the Remington 700 is bolt-action and comes in several different calibres. If your a smaller guy, or want your girlfriend to use it as well, cut back on the calibre. The 7.62x39 Russian round is a lower powered round than the .303/.308. I have a .303 Lee-Enfield 'Jungle Carbine' and a standard version. Don't really like the carbine as it has a hellevu kick due to the reduced weight. The standard version is all right though. Posted by: Beth at November 08, 2008 04:17 AM (yqiXY) I have the Norinco but it sure as hell ain't full auto. 'Bump Fire' I have never seen that before. Posted by: Travis at November 08, 2008 04:28 AM (uOj//) 76
Adolho ____ look for a 2A1 Enfield ugly as hell but most are almost new (made 65-67 I think) but never used much and good shooters. You will need NATO ammo or a reduced load ammo for them, but its available. A couple hundred should be an ok price. Posted by: Farmer at November 08, 2008 05:30 AM (c9fg+) 77
Go Beth!
I don't believe that any weapons ban will be retroactive. California tried that many years ago and compliance was so low (maybe 3%) that they repealed the law. Instead, they will do the same as before, and ban hi-cap magazines and the like, and any new sales of certain rifles. That means you should pick something out and get it asap, and if there are hi-cap magazines for it, get a bunch of those too (you can always sell them later at a huge profit). If you're interested in an AR variant, note that a stripped receiver is considered a rifle in the eyes of the law, and all other parts can be bought without an ffl, and they are much cheaper than an assembled rifle. However, it might be a little late to get a good deal on stripped receivers. I guy I know got three of them last Wednesday, and right after he purchased them, he heard the guy selling them quote a price $10 higher to the next customer. That same seller had done $50K of business that day, and it was only about 12:30 pm. And that was just selling receivers. The vids are from AH-64's (D's for the most part, a few looked to be A-Model symbology or early D-model). The gun is 30mm and has a High-Explosive, Dual Purpose (HEDP) round that has about a 3-meter burst radius. It effecitvely makes hamburger meat out of the human body. Nice site, BTW. Just in these clips alone there are A LOT of hurtin' targets! If one counted up all the bad guys zapped in all the war pron videos would we be in 5 figures? It has to suck to be a bad guy facing us. Re. home arsenal - bolt action is a good idea, since ammo will be at least as restricted as the guns in the future. You'll want to be ready and able to load your own, and even then you'll have limited supply. You'll want to prepare yourself to make every shot count like it is your last, and bolt action will help. Better still - learn black powder. Posted by: Glenmore at November 08, 2008 02:37 PM (Kk+Y9) 87
