McCain (barely) winning VA

As of the State's 9:36 update, McCain is up by a couple thousand votes with 70+% reporting. Mil-absentee ballots could put him over the top.

Wasn't VA supposed to be in the bag for Obama?

McCain slightly ahead in NC now.  It looks like WAF good, but I am taking what victories that I can and keeping my home state red helps ease the pain a lot.

This now makes 5 elections in a row in which the real combat vet has lost to his noncombat opponent (say what you will about Gore and Kerry, but they both had the RVN campaign medal, Bush didn't).  Once upon a time you couldn't get elected without military experience, now it looks like an impediment.
