These sort of gaffes don't mean much to me. When you speak that often, you'll make some flubs. We all do it. The gaffes that mean something to me are the "spread the wealth around" sort of comments. Those are still a mistake, sure, but they reveal intentions.

Basically, this is like candy; yummy, but insubstantial. The Joe the Plumber gaffe was like a delicious baked potato. And to point out just how big that is... I'm of Irish descent.
