I'm not sure what to blog today. It feels like most campaigning is over, and we don't really have the news of real votes yet.

Today, I treated myself to an extremely good lunch at an Italian place that's way out of my price range. When I mentioned this to a coworker, she was surprised that I'd splurge on it.

I explained that this was The Last Good Day, and that I wanted to remember what good food tasted like before we were on rice and well-water three times a day, except on sundays, when we went to reeducation school.

I don't think she got it.
