Now This Ought To Be Interesting (Kat-Mo)

First, we get Charlie Rangel writing the tax policy. Then we get Barney Frank telling us that the Democrats will eventually have to raise taxes on everyone and will cut defense spending by 25%.

Are you ready for this? Now we get Rahm Emanuel as the potential White House Chief of Staff.

Now that ought to be interesting. I thought Obama was hoping to make the rest of the world like us not become the laughing stock of the universe. But, heh, it would certainly provide for entertainment. At least, on the net. Otherwise, I imagine no one will be reporting on the four year comedy hour we're likely to get because...well...you know, it will be that word.

Post a comment against the 'chosen one' and get a free visit from the Black Panther/Nation of Islam Civilian defense force, aka Gestapo redone.

Well, I started to post my suspicions on the rest of the staff, but somebody beat me to it.  Though, I expect Ayers may be appointed to the Supreme court or the head of education..

Colin Powell will be secretary of the Army.  Clinton may be tapped for DHS.

What other rife speculation should we take on staff picks.

The question is whether Axelrod will be appointed over the new ministry of information.

24 "Obama won't win."

Your right he won't.  There are not enough votes that Obama can pickup to win the electoral college as long as the GOP voters get out there.  For every PUMA that crosses over Obama's job becomes that much harder because he will need 2 votes to replace that one.

My personal opinion is that he (along with Barry) is a scumbag, but he's a politically talented scumbag.  He'd make an effective COS, IMHO.

P.S. I'm from Chicago, where Rahm cut his political teeth.  Yes, I'm a conservative, just making the real-politik case.

It is likely that the National Civilian Security Force will be a rehash of Wilson's American Protective League:

The American Protective League was a quasi-private organization with 250,000 members in 600 cities was sanctioned by the Wilson administration. These men carried Government Issue badges and freely conducted warrantless searches and interrogations. This organization was empowered by the U.S. Justice Department to spy on Americans for anti-government/anti war behavior. As national police, the APL checked up on people who failed to buy Liberty Bonds and spoke out against the government’s policies.
