Ohio's Head of Job and Family Services Approved a Child-Support Search on Joe Wurzelbacher Immediately After Third Debate;
Her Excuse? "Oh, We Always Do That"
Confirmed: Max Donor to Obama

Helen Jones-Kelley, pawing through the records
of anyone who challenges Barack Obama...
Ohio residents be warned: You're being watched

Update: Yes, Helen Jones-Kelley (two e's in Kelley) just happens to be a maximum $2300 contributor to Barack Obama.

What a fucking shock, huh?

But she provides this sort of illegal intrusion into personal records for anyone who "comes into the public light." It's a public service, you see.

Right.

Riiiiight.

Thanks to Yeppers.

...

Yeah. Okay.

Ohio's inspector general is investigating why a state agency director approved checking the state child-support computer system for information on "Joe the Plumber."

Helen Jones-Kelly, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, confirmed today that she OK'd the check on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher following the Oct. 15 presidential debate.

She said there were no political reasons for the check on the sudden presidential campaign fixture though the Support Enforcement Tracking System.

Amid questions from the media and others about "Joe the Plumber," Jones-Kelley said she approved a check to determine if he was current on any ordered child-support payments.

Such information was not and cannot be publicly shared, she said. It is unclear if Wurzelbacher is involved in a child-support case. Reports state that he lives alone with a 13-year-old son.

"Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look" at them, Jones-Kelley said, citing a case where a lottery winner was found to owe past-due child support. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way."

Ohio Inspector General Thomas P. Charles confirmed today that he is investigating the incident to determine if "Joe''s" records were legally accessed by Job and Family Services employees.

The use of a state computer system to search for information on Wurzelbacher is the fourth uncovered by The Dispatch.

Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland [who appointed Jones-Kelly this past January] is satisfied that there are no political overtures to the check on Wurzelbacher, a spokesman said.

Ah, I see. Everyone's satisfied.

His name was also searched at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, in the Toledo Police Department's criminal records, and in the office of the AG.

Is such a deep concern for each of its citizens standard service under the Strickand administration?

God, Ohioans must feel so well looked after. Almost as if they have some benevolent Big Brother looking over their shoulders.

PS, the tip here (which I'm still looking for evidence on) is that Helen Jones-Kelly just happens to be a supporter of Barack Obama.

Obama Supporter? Yup.

Anyone Want to Dig Dirt on Helen Jones-Kelley? It's a service we provide here at AoSHQ to anyone who "steps into the public spotlight."

(Not safe for work) Perez Hilton style witty picture commentary.

Again, just a service we provide. Gratis.

1 That's the excuse the IRS used to go after Clinton's political enemies in the 90s.

2 Whew! For a day or two I thought there might have been some political reason to look up Joe's records.

Boy, the Dems sure have a lot vested in Obama this cycle. It smells like coup d'etat or something.

3 It' perfectly normal to do it.

Just like it was perfectly normal procedure for the State Department to search Hillary's records. Oh, you don't like it when someone searches the records of Democrats?

Oh, well, that's different, then.

Did Gov Palin abuse her power as governor when she fires state employees? How much does she spend on those fancy glasses? Who pays for them?

Yeah, I don't get it.  I have no doubt that there are folks on both the McCain and Clinton campaigns who know exactly what Barry's grades are, what he did during his Columbia years, etc.  It is way too EASY to find that info out.. But why are they not releasing it to the PUBLIC?  I don't get it.  This is driving me insane.

33 Each of these instances of accessing these records is a potential violation of the Privacy Act of 1974 and should be investigated.  Just a thought.

"Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look" at them, Jones-Kelley said, citing a case where a lottery winner was found to owe past-due child support. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way."

If that practice cannot be applied to this case or is misapplied in this case, there should at least be an investigation.

51 As someone born in Ohio with family still back there, I'm concerned for the protection of their confidential information held by the State. That these practices are accepted and excused by top governmental officials is absolutely inexcusable.

Most larger corporations that handle confidential information (e.g. credit card, bank card, social security, medical records, etc.) have a variety of policies restricting the access to consumer or taxpayer information. Annually, I must certify with the IRS's rigorous requirements due to the rare chance I may accidentally see a taxpayer record on a computer screen while I'm in the process of assessing a business unit and am verifying technical controls. In this certification, I must review and attest that unless I have a clear authorized need to access a taxpayer record specific to an assigned work activity, I am not permitted to access it. Our personnel that have access to those systems are prohibited from casually looking at information "just because they saw someone on TV and had the technical privileges." Neither may the open up a relative's file or any person they may have another relationship with.

This is absolute government irresponsibility to its greatest extreme. Ohio's Governor would be terminated for cause for permitting and excusing this conduct under IRS rules in our corporation. Rogue employees aren't allowed to initiate their own investigations without a formal initiation of an investigation request from the authorities with that authorization to initiate.

What a mess we have: a sold-out news media and a corrupt-to-the-core government. Say goodbye to your liberties, we're seeing this nation is rotten to the core.

According to Ted Strickland's press release announcing the December 06 appointment of Jones-Kelly:

Former director of the Montgomery County Department of Jobs and Family Services; executive director of the Montgomery County Children Services Department since 1995. She is also a licensed attorney. Prior to her work with Children Services, Jones-Kelley served as a referee (Magistrate) and Assistant Legal Director for Montgomery County Juvenile Court.

Someone has to go to Obama HQ Ohio and get a printed copy of the list of local elected officials endorsing Obama.  Thats where her name is likely to be found. This list not online but I guarantee it exists in some field/grassroots staffer's desk.

68 PS, the tip here (which I'm still looking for evidence on) is that Helen Jones-Kelly just happens to be a supporter of Barack Obama.

Well, this isn't explicit, but most certainly implicit:

COLUMBUS - Eye on the Statehouse has named the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS) its Porker of the Week.  The state agency is seeking to expand Ohio's overburdened Medicaid program.

Last week, ODJFS Director Helen Jones-Kelly asked the Ohio Senate Finance and Financial Institutions Committee to allow families earning 300 percent of the poverty level to buy into the state's Medicaid program.

That appears rather "SCHIPish" to me.

69

HEY - maybe the 20% of Republicans in Ohio that voted for Strickland in 2006 can pay attention and come home in 2010 when he's up for re-election?

The heads of most of the state agencies are appointed by the Governor - so if you want to stop this, you need to vote Strickland out, along with the Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. We need people to support the Republican candidates with funds in 2010 if the Republicans are going to have a chance in the 2012 presidential race in Ohio.

Elections matter. Pay attention to the Governor and Secretary of State races in Ohio in 2010.

Publicly available Ohio campaign finance contributor records show one recorded contribution by J/K: $50 in October 2004 from an address on Old Salem Road in Dayton, to Democrat Dixie Allen, a 10-year statehouse member from Dayton now retired.

FEC records show no federal contributions by her. Open Secrets agrees.

I say she is on a piece of paper somewhere that the campaign routinely prints for distribution but hardy ever distributes. Fortune favors the bold however. 82 "Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look" at them, Jones-Kelley said, citing a case where a lottery winner was found to owe past-due child support. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way."

Ahhhh, yes. That one time where a lottery winner owed some money for child support was done to see what's coming so that the office's books could be balanced - "common practice" because it's just sooooo typical. As a matter of fact, getting to question The One is like winning the lottery, right? Naturally it follows that Joe deserves a good roto-rooting because he practically won the lottery.

So where's the Federal Justice Department to look at this since the State level apparatus is obviously derelict?

86 #69: Those 20% voted for Strickland because Taft was the most god-awful governor in history. And, honestly, Strickland hasn't been too bad. I mean, Ohio still sucks as far as economy goes, but what can you do? We've got a whole corner of the state that is (along with Detroit and Buffalo) stuck in the 1960's believing that unions will save the day and they'll only be 3 auto makers in the US and that steel will only come from Ohio (and possibly PA).  But yeah, if the republican leadership in Ohio is any less incompetent than McCain's campaign staff and gets that information out there it won't sit well with the large chunk of Ohio that hasn't drank the Kucinich kool-aid.

I'll continue the google search.

89 Excuse me, but isn't that whole 'child support' thingy...you know...Un-Constitutional?

( Ah, ah, ah! If you try to justify that 'child support' thingy, you're an advocate for socialism...and for Big! Bigger! Biggest! Government!!! ...which most of you don't claim to like at all. )

So, the Democrat-socialist PTB in Ohio are using a Big Government Socialist stick to try to beat down a simple American citizen...who merely asked a Big Government Socialist an uncomfortable question. ...which, according to The Constitution, is that American's personal right, and even his responsibility, to begin with.

91 And, honestly, Strickland hasn't been too bad.

Eh he hasn't been so great either unless you consider balancing the state budget by letting bars running Keno games a major accomplishment.  Yeah Taft was pretty much a doofus (at least he came off as one but it's always hard to tell what agendas the fishwraps around here are following to get over on the readers) and Strickland came in on the 2006 donk wave.  The jury's still out on him because I think he comes from a part of the state where you have to actually do something for people rather than being an asshole screamer like Kucinich or Sherrod Brown.  There's some evidence that he "gets it" regarding what a cluster fuck state Ahia is in terms of an unbearable set of state and local politburos that bidnesses have to support; whether he's actually gonna do something about it remains to be seen.  There was talk of him being VP for Muffer (despite having been a governor as long as Palin; strangely enough I doubt there would've been the outcry of "no foreign experience") but the insecure Obammy couldn't have a Hillary person as a partner.  I still regard him as a donk tool until I get compelling evidence otherwise.

Posted by: Christopher Taylor at October 27, 2008 10:53 PM (0+Ggj)

94 The usual way.

Prosperous state with good industries.

Industries get taken over by union thuggery.

Industries become non-competitive, shut down or move elsewhere.

Unemployed workers become dependent on state handouts to survive.

End result: Socialist Wonderland.

102 You think the lefties were angry? The country ain't seen nothing yet. The press. The politicians. The seeds a of a deep, broad, intense and long lasting anger are being sown in this election. The unfairness. The abuse of power. All the things that the left has been spouting bullshit about for years is really happening. George W. Bush has never silenced anyone, despite all the cries of NAZI! from the left. Obama has, and will, once he has his mitts on power.

People, it's not hyperbole to say that this election is going to change things all right. It may actually lead to revolution and revolt. And that's not bullshit leftist cant. All,

Dick Morris made a good point tonight on Hannity and Colmes. Mac is running attacks ads with Joe the plumber over this past weekend and we have seen obambi痴 numbers slip. He pointed out that this was the result of the saturation level that had the average viewer seeing the ad at least 10 times. He said this was hitting obambi with a hard left, now it is time to hit him with a hard right using the Reverend Wright issue.

A 527 called the National Republican Trust has an ad they are readying for the swing states. I just donated $100 and I want to encourage everyone else to do the same. Rush was on Greta afterwards and seemed to think that it would really help. Since Mac won稚 do it himself lets help drag him over the finish line. I am posting this on multiple thread - sorry for the redundancy but I don稚 want the lil messiah to win.

125 DEMOCRAT Helen Jones-Kelley abused her government position to violate Joe the Plumber's privacy.  She won't step down--that means if you live in Ohio, she can do the same thing to you, next.

DEMOCRAT Governor Ted Strickland says this is perfectly fine--that means if you live in Ohio, anyone in his administration can do the same thing to you, next.

DEMOCRAT Barack Obama won't lift a finger to stop these attacks on Joe the Plumber by his own supporters, including prominent DEMOCRAT government officials like Helen Jones-Kelley and Governor Ted Strickland.  That means he' he'll do the same thing YOU, next, no matter where you live.

This also, smacks of racism. A White man asks "the One" a question, and Black officials paw through his private records in violation of the law?

That to me screams racism.

But hey, she's Black, so therefore can violate the law with impunity. Good to know, laws don't apply to Black officials.

Alert via ABC Blog

Joe the Plumber is going to join the mccain campaign

ABC News' Bret Hovell reports: Joe Wurzelbacher, aka 笛oe the Plumber, will campaign tomorrow in Ohio for Senator John McCain.

Wurzelbacher, the Toledo-area native, will go on a bus tour with former Rep. Rob Portman, a close McCain supporter, and a number of small business people.

It will be the first time Wurzelbacher has been out to campaign for the McCain ticket since he approached Barack Obama some weeks back to ask about Obama痴 tax policy, and became a part of McCain痴 stump speech.

McCain, and his running mate Sarah Palin, have made 笛oe the Plumber a central part of their campaign, mentioning him at nearly every stop as a way of illustrating how, they argue, Barack Obama痴 tax plans will affect average Americans.

161 Jones-Kelley sure seems awfully selective about dealing with press inquiries about people in her agency's database.

In 2008 "amid questions from the media" she searches her records for information on Joe Wurzelbacher.... just "amid questions"... you know... just the stuff she's heard on TV and such.

Funny, Jones-Kelley hasn't always been so cavalier about "questions from the media".

In 2006 Jones-Kelley resisted a formal public records request from the Cincinnati Enquirer, who then filed suit.

The Supreme Court of Ohio ruled against her earlier this year in a 7-0 decision.

SO JUST TWO YEARS AGO, JONES-KELLEY WENT TO THE MAT WITH THE MEDIA -- LITERALLY GOING TO COURT TO DEFEND THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF HER AGENCY'S RECORDS AGAINST A FORMAL PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST -- ON GROUNDS OF PRIVACY.

But now she says it's routine for her to go digging through records simply "amid questions from the media"

Oh, "and others."

You know, Barry's got a great telephone voice.  It'll melt butter.

This is just weird; you'd think these people would be dying to provide voter registration services at state aid agencies:

The law very clearly makes it the state's responsibility to provide the opportunity to register to vote at public assistance offices. It assigns responsibility to ensure compliance to the state's "chief election officer," which in Ohio is Secretary Brunner, and obliges state public assistance agencies, like Ohio's Department of Job and Family Services, to provide voter registration services as part of their program duties.

In response to evidence that Ohio has blatantly disregarded this aspect of the NVRA, state officials have said, 'Not my problem.' In court today, both Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Helen Jones-Kelley, Director of the DJFS, tried to deflect responsibility to local officials around the state rather than using their own powers, authority, and resources to fix the widespread systemic statewide problems. Brunner's counsel even went so far as to say that, if the Secretary were to be held responsible to ensure compliance, the NVRA would be a 'burden' to the office. It is inconceivable that there is no state official with the power to ensure the state's compliance with state responsibilities.

God forbid that the performance of your job duties should become a burden. These have got to count among the laziest government officials in the country.

It's sad - even in this thread you can see how Strickland has successfully brainwashed Republicans in Ohio into supporting him. He's turning into one of the worst governors in Ohio history, overseeing a historic decline in the state, and his answer is to create $125k/year positions for Republicans legislators to bribe them to drop out of tough legislative races so he can take over the state House of Representatives. Then he can pass more revisions to prevailing wage laws to funnel more dough to his union goons.

And around 20% of Republicans think this is awesome because they hated Ken Blackwell or something. It's really frustrating.

Anyone who is pissed at Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner for her objectively pro voter fraud stance should be equally pissed at Governor Strickland for endorsing and supporting her.

Off Topic, but see below - Next shoe to drop on redistribution...Obama went to a forum in 96 sponsored by ---- guess who? Socialists.  And he allegedly implied more redistribution stuff there.

Well here he goes again with that redistribution word. Chicago DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) in April 1996.

The state government can also play a role in redistribution, the allocation of wages and jobs.

Here's the full article, avaialbe on chicagodsa

A Town Meeting on Economic Insecurity: Employment and Survival in Urban America

By Bob Roman

Over three hundred people attended the first of two Town Meetings on Economic Insecurity on February 25 in Ida Noyes Hall at the University of Chicago. Entitled "Employment and Survival in Urban America", the meeting was sponsored by the UofC DSA Youth Section, Chicago DSA and University Democrats. The panelists were Toni Preckwinkle, Alderman of Chicago's 4th Ward; Barack Obama, candidate for the 13th Illinois Senate District; Professor William Julius Wilson, Center for the Study of Urban Inequality at the University of Chicago; Professor Michael Dawson, University of Chicago; and Professor Joseph Schwartz, Temple University and a member of DSA's National Political Committee.

The meeting demonstrated that economic insecurity is an issue not exclusive to Buchanan Republicans. It is a vital issue for the left as well. More than that, it illustrated that, unlike the Right, the democratic left has a number of potential solutions that go beyond mere demagoguery.

Alderman Preckwinkle began the discussion by observing that the Chicago City Council rarely takes up the great issues facing the city even when it is presented with legislation dealing with these issues. Hearings are not held. Legislation rarely makes it out of committee.

As examples, she used Alderman Joe Moore's (49th) Privatization Ordinance which was introduced last year and the Jobs and Living Wage Ordinance which will be formally introduced in the Council very soon.

The Privatization Ordinance (see January - February, 1995, New Ground, page 1) was a modest effort to regulate the manner in which city services were privatized. It would have made the process accountable and made sure savings were not accomplished at the expense of employees. The measure was consigned to oblivion in committee. While a majority of the Council "supported" the ordinance, an attempt to release it from committee failed for lack of votes.

The Jobs and Living Wage Ordinance (see January - February, 1996, New Ground, page 10) is a more ambitious attempt to require city contractors to pay a minimum living wage. The measure will be formally introduced into the Council in April or May. Alderman Preckwinkle was not optimistic about its prospects although the presence of the Democratic National Convention may provide some opportunities for better leverage.

Barack Obama observed that Martin Luther King's March on Washington in the 1960s wasn't simply about civil rights but demanded jobs as well. Now the issue is again coming to the front, but he wished the issue was on the Democratic agenda not just on Buchanan's.

One of the themes that has emerged in Barack Obama's campaign is "what does it take to create productive communities", not just consumptive communities. It is an issue that joins some of the best instincts of the conservatives with the better instincts of the left. He felt the state government has three constructive roles to play.

The first is "human capital development". By this he meant public education, welfare reform, and a "workforce preparation strategy". Public education requires equality in funding. It's not that money is the only solution to public education's problems but it's a start toward a solution. The current proposals for welfare reform are intended to eliminate welfare but it's also true that the status quo is not tenable. A true welfare system would provide for medical care, child care and job training. While Barack Obama did not use this term, it sounded very much like the "social wage" approach used by many social democratic labor parties. By "workforce preparation strategy", Barack Obama simply meant a coordinated, purposeful program of job training instead of the ad hoc, fragmented approach used by the State of Illinois today.

The state government can also play a role in redistribution, the allocation of wages and jobs. As Barack Obama noted, when someone gets paid $10 million to eliminate 4,000 jobs, the voters in his district know this is an issue of power not economics. The government can use as tools labor law reform, public works and contracts.

Finally, Illinois needs an industrial strategy. How do we create more jobs for everyone? Illinois has no strategy for encouraging high wage, high productivity jobs.

Professor Wilson's presentation was based on his forthcoming book, When Work Disappears: the World of the New Urban Poor. William Julius Wilson began by demanding that the left not be intimidated by the Contract on America and how it has limited the terms of the debate. What we need, he asserted, was a jobs policy based roughly on the New Deal's WPA. The work would concentrate on badly needed infrastructure maintenance and improvement. It would be a universal program; the jobs would be available to everyone, "including Donald Trump" if he chose to do some useful work for a change. These would be new jobs. State and local government would not be allowed to subsidize their own budgets the way they did with CETA in the 1970s.

Professor Dawson spoke on how critical the issues facing this country have become. Not only have the problems themselves become severe, but the politics resulting from them have become a danger to freedom and democracy.

DSA member Joe Schwartz brought the presentations to a rousing close. He observed that any politics of the democratic left needs to confront racism. There is no way we can finesse the issue by simply organizing around universal programs; we need to build a new politics of social solidarity. He concluded by pointing out that all of the proposals given tonight, even the most modest, will be red-baited. We must grow up and be forthright about how social democracy / democratic socialism has made the life of working people better the world over.

Which is exactly our point.

173 In case you were wondering what Diderot's Dog is talking about, it's not Dale Earnhardt Junior who endorsed Obama, but Junior Johnson.  I don't think it will have even a tiny effect.  Those who remember Johnson are hard core white bread gun owning veteran loving Americans who think John Mccain is too liberal.

Now, Dale Jr. is just too commercially savvy to endorse anybody (least of all a liberal), I'd think, but Rick Hendrick, his employer, was pardoned by Bill Clinton for fucking over a lot of innocent Honda dealership owners.... in exchange for library donations.  Dale Earnhardt Sr. was a well known friend of the Bush family, but Jr. did take a bunch of friends to a Michael Moore movie.  All in all, anyone who is impressed by celebrity endorsements and shiny things already has all they need to like Obama.  The undecideds are not waiting for a celebrity endorsement... they are worried that Bush's policies might have caused the economic disaster, probably take issue with the war, and have some sense of anxiety over electing a jackass like Obama.

The right thing to do would find out everyone who was involved and bring civil cases against them personally.  Find a Conservative Think Tank to take the case pro bono and scare the shit out of them.  Also, PROSECUTE!!!

Suing the state is essentially suing yourself, and costs tax payers gobs of money.  It would be hypocritical.  I do not encourage Conservatives to sue (for monetary damages) their governments.

Senator Barack Obama cObama痴 World View Sees U.S. Comparable to Hitler痴 Germanyompared post-World War II America with Hitler痴 Nazi Germany in a 2001 discussion of the lead-up to the Supreme Court痴 decision in Brown v. Board of Education (1954). While Jim Crow and all that went with segregation of African-Americans is a bloody stain on our national history, comparing it to the genocidal Holocaust of the Nazis shows incredible disrespect to the United States and a complete lack of historical understanding and context.

The apparent focus of the discussion was the balance between the how far the Supreme Court would intervene and the content of the court痴 decisions.

The conversation started out with The Court before the 14th Amendment and worked forward. Picking up with World War II

Obama:

One of the things that should be pointed out is that first the NAACP mounts systematic thoughtful strategy to lay bare the contradictions that are embodied in the doctrines and ideological structures that the court is working with.

The second thing is that just to take a realistic perspective is that there is a lot of change going on outside of the court that you know the judges, you know have to take judicial notice of.

I mean you have got WWII you have got the doctrines of Nazism that we are fighting against that start to look uncomfortably similar to what is going on back here at home. You have got African-Americans that are returning home from the war with certain expectations謡hy is it that I am not in uniform and yet am denied more freedom here that I was in France or Italy?

And so you have a whole host of social conditions that are, you know, the court inevitably is influenced by and I think it is important for us to realize that although Brown may be one of those rare circumstances where the court is willing to get slightly beyond conventional opinion and sort of stake a place beyond the sort of political mainstream.

Helfrich asked about conventional social opinion.

Obama:

Social opinion. But that痴 very rare and even in the case of Brown I think that there were a lot of social changes attitudinal changes of the sort that Dennis [Hutchinson] was talking about in terms of the difference between social equality and political equality. A lot of that baggage has to be eliminated before you see the Supreme Court, before you see the Supreme Court venture out the way it did.

The context doesn稚 mitigate the offensive comparison that Obama made. It is even more difficult to reconcile as Obama has made such a deal during the campaign of conversations he had with his grandfather who served in World War II and was among the concentration camp liberators. Again, to contemporaneously compare the history of African-Americans in the U.S. to the Nazi Germany is so outrageous as to be offensive.

But, consider that January 2001 was just five years after Minister Louis Farrakhan痴 Million Man March that Barack Obama and Reverend Wright helped organize. Just the previous year, Nation of Islam leader Minister Farrakhan was reported in the  saying 鍍hat although the Holocaust was wrong, blacks had suffered 100 times worse than the Jews. For Minister Farrakhan, this was the American Holocaust of African Enslavement. In this context, it is not surprising that Barack Obama who worked with Minister Farrakhan and shared mutual friends, himself chose to make the comparison of Nazi Germany to the United States.

My point here is not to debate whether Jim Crow and segregation is comparable with the Nazi痴 and the Holocaust. Both were bad, both should never be forgotten. But contemporaneously comparable they are not. More than 11,000,000 people died at the hands of the Nazis between 1933 and 1945.

Special thanks to reader Geoff who provided the tip to the audio clip.

196 Editor, it's not really about the money when I say Joe should sue his state.  I'm sure the employees within the state would be afforded some protections from suit, though he should also pursue them if he can.

Suing the state puts the executive in the position of explaining to the taxpayers why he was unable to keep his government from committing expensive crimes.  And it's not like they weren't going to spend every last penny on bullshit anyway.  You're right that it's wrong at some level to take money from the public funds for your own use, it's the public, every taxpayer and voter, who tolerate the leadership of democrats, who are absolutely responsible for what has happened to Joe.  Just as every democrat voter this year will be responsible in part for what Obama does and how I am responsible in part for what Bush has done (I'm proud, mostly).

This didn't happen in a vacuum.  Ohio makes no secret of its corruption.  The governor should have started dealing with these slimeballs swiftly, and the voters should have recalled him when he didn't.  Their Secretary of State is even worse than this lady.  So it's fair game to sue, and show the people that crimes have consequences.

I was in the Marine Corps, I know, GTFOOH and all that shit,  But while I was in, I was the platoon clerk, within certain platoons, the commanders prefered picking people with Security MOS's, because Clerks deal with a lot of classified info.

I had the highest Clerance that didn't belong to my PltCom, and other people with my MOS (one other person) and I was also Plt Clerk, so I answered the phone.

"This is Cpt.(blah) and I  need some information on Cpl(blah)"

"What information is that sir?"

"He's being reviewed for an informal reward, so to create the award I need his address, full name, and social security number."

"no sir, however if you . . . "
"I don't think you heard me LCpl.. . . "

"Yes I did sir, if you come by and pick up the information, or maybe my commander can send the information. . . . "

"NOW LCpl."

"Sir? If you know my rank and position so easy, you have access, why don't you have acess to his information, sir?"

"Don't question me! LCpl!!!"

"Sir, I can't, now if you wish to talk to my commander. . . "

"YES GIVE ME YOUR COMMANDER LCPL!!!"

"Yes sir, just a moment."

*hold*

"TOP!!!!!" I yelled into the air.

"Pinto?"

"A captain is asking to yell at you."

"why?"

"I did my job."

"Okay, but make him wait."

*off hold*

"Yes sir, he's just now coming back to his office."

"Let him know I am disappointed with your performance."

"I think that is your job sir, Oh, here he is, just a second."

My plt comm vilated comsec, I never would have, would have taken less time to transport files than it took for this dick captain to measure his dick on the phone.

"If you are asked again, don't ignore your instincts, just find me right away."

"Yes sir."

"SO HELP ME PINTO YOU CALL ME SIR AGAIN!!!"

My PltComm's were all enlisted Senior SNCO's.

BTW, My Clearence, (other then when it was "suspended," even though it wasn't actually suspended) was always higher than my bosses.

You want to know where the "re-education camps" will be?  In the South West.  Well, that's what the Weather Underground planned so long ago.  Go to this website, read excerpts from the Weather Underground manifesto, and then watch the embedded youtube links.

Ya, apparently the Weather Underground was going to over throw the government after infiltrating the democratic party with socialists, and then those who were still hard-core capitalists would go to re-education camps in the South West.  They figured about 25 million Americans would not be "re-educated"--they would be counter-revolutionists, and so the Weather Underground would have to exterminate them--all 25 million them.

210 This is all kinds of crime. EVERY person who has access to SETS' records is thoroughly warned  in his initial training that SETS is to be used only in certain circumstances.  "Whatever is coming our way" is not on the list.

If some enforcement lawyer had done this on someone who, say, just bought a big house, she'd be fired and charged.

SETS is very protective of its power.

She'll get a reprimand. Woooo.

212 The good people of Ohio need to start a recall.  Their state has become the Venezuela of the Midwest.

Brunner has got to go.  She did not aid and abet corruption, she brought it into the office to use as a political tool.  She is the corruption in Ohio.  ACORN was just her accomplices.

Strickland has got to go.  He aided and abetted corruption while trying to keep his hands clean.  His proxies have made it clear that the tools of the state will be used to destroy anyone who gets in their way, and he refuses to even acknowledge the law.

"Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland [who appointed Jones-Kelly this past January] is satisfied that there are no political overtures to the check on Wurzelbacher, a spokesman said."

Yeah.  Right.

Recall.  Recall.  Recall.

216 The double standard here is about to make blow an aneurysm. A reporter ask tough questions and she "must have been a republican". Gwen Ifell wrote a positive book about Obama but her integrity should not be questioned.

Someone looks into Obama's passport and is fired. They look at Joe's public records and NOTHING.

Sarah is called a C and hanged in effigy, nothing. Barrack campaign claims racism on every thing and the media agrees.

I wonder where the outrage is.

Not that it is important, but this appears on Junior Johnson's website:

Presidential Quotes

"As an avid NASCAR fan, I attended many of the top events during the years when Junior Johnson was one of the greatest racers. As Governor of Goergia, I met with all the drivers before the contest began, led them in prayer for safety and good sportsmanship, and then rode in the pace car. Rosalynn and I also entertained the racing teams at the governor's mansion and also at the White House. Junior Johnson was one of those who supported my political campains, and I'll always be greatful for their wonderful influence among thousands of avid fans and admires." - President Carter

226 Now I can remember that person. Jones-Kelley was one of those Dayton Democrat doofuses that has done so much to turn a once-prosperous Ahia city into a God-cursed ghost town. Raise the taxes on all the EEEVIL exploitational businesses. See businesses flee to the 'burbs or adjoining counties. Raise the taxes again. See more businesses flee. Rinse & repeat. After 7PM when the last employees of Mead & the 3 bank towers go home, the streets downtown are so empty you could shoot a vampire/zombie movie there. The frackin' Dayton Daily News (Socialist cheerleader fishwrap) has fled to Miamisburg rather than stay in town. This is what the Obamessiah's followers have done before he gives them more $$ and power.

Captain Hate: Everything you said is true.

redherkey: If the Obamessiah gets elected I will seriously consider moving to Kentucky. I may pay more for state income tax, and gas, but at least the state won't nickel-and-dime me with sales tax, and no state official will Inquisition me for my views.

If you just back off and look at THE BIG PICTURE here is what you will see:

After WWII, this is what was happening in the USA:

--THE LEFT  slowly took over the MEDIA (especially MSM).

--THE LEFT slowly got strategic JUDICIAL appointments for "their people" , by occasionally winning a few national elections (Johnson/Carter/Clinton).

--THE LEFT slowly took contol of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

--THE LEFT slowly took over the EDUCATION -- School Boards and Teachers Unions on the Local Level and the entire University System.

--THE LEFT got key LEGISLATION passed -- by first publicizing and exploiting key issues that could later be exploited for other unintended nefarious purposes. EQUALITY (voting rights/ACORN, Housing/CRA, Affirmative Action (see writer: Shelby Steele' White Guilt) that could later be exploited as a stepping stone for other purposes, ECOLOGY: by  (Global Warming), HEALTH CARE (a right, not a responsibility), etc.

Meanwhile, THE CENTER and THE RIGHT slept peacefully in their beds at night, thinking all was well, as long as business flourished, Wall Street was happy,  and the economy continued to grow

Economic booms masked what was going on under the radar, but THE LEFT never took their eye off the prize.

So the stage was set...all that remained was to find a charismatic individual or two who could be used to win another election and finish off what had taken years to set in place....

But who realizes what has been going on?

Not many people.  They just think everything is OK and later are surprised to wake up one morning to find out that all the Home Depots are now stocking a new type of light bulb that we will be forced to use one day....

#61so where do you think the re-education camps will be located, warm or cold climate?

GTMO.

Too small. I think it'll be the Grand Canyon, which should be easy & cheap to secure. Many square miles of space, long cliffs on two sides, easily closed off at either end, and the rainy season takes care of any overcrowding.

The most alarming among the audit's findings is that of the questionable business practices that led to $305,632 in illegally spent public funds by Kids Are Really Essential, Inc., a private, not-for-profit, child placement agency, located at 3453 W. Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, that serves the Montgomery County Children Services Agency.

According to Helen Jones-Kelley, Director of Children's Services, the county has been in a bit of a quandary for some time.

From the Toledo Blade:

Mr. Wurzelbacher also said Tuesday he's considering a lawsuit over the fact that government workers have apparently searched some records pertaining to him since he challenged Barack Obama on his tax policy two weeks ago.

"I have contacted a lawyer,'' he said as he formally hit the political stump for the first time since his conversation with Mr. Obama in his Springfield Township driveway led to his name becoming synonymous with Republican John McCain's campaign.

"Other than that, that's as far as I've gone with it,'' he said. "I'd like to see justice done. That's just for other people who dare ask their elected officials a question. They shouldn't have to go through the scrutiny that I've gone through. It shouldn't have to bother their families the way it's bothered my family.''

242 Helen's background is at Montgomery County CSB. One of her feathers in her cap is reducing out of home placements in county under her direction. What people will not mention is that during the reduction in out of home placements crime skyrocketed in Montgomery county. They litterally was having shooting every night. Many other social problems went out of control during that period. Can these two things be related? We will never know unless someone looks at Children Services Records and law enforcement records for the last 15 years. To be able to do this you need approval from the very people that the information could possibly indict. Oh well, what can we do when our politicians and public servants are untouchable?

Posted by: PJ at October 28, 2008 09:15 PM (AaSvo)

243 OK, so she looks into Joe's records because he's suddenly in the news. I don't understand why she thinks a newspaper article on Joe gives HER permission to snoop, but there ya have the liberal mindset.

Alright here's some truth. Being a past lottery winner I can tell you that it's not up to people like Jones-Kelley to investigate people in the news when they "come into the spotlight".

First of all, when you do win the lottery that stuff is in the system. So you go pick up your money and the first thing that is done at lottery headquarters is a check to see if you owe taxes, school loans, child support, etc...This is paid immeadiately before you ever collect anything. Note that the bitch never said what she does if she finds that someone owes. That's because it's not her job to police this shit and she couldn't do anything about it anyway.

What a liar! I thought she had a law degree but obviously she's an idiot.

252 119 The donation is limit is effectively $4600. Up to $2300 can be given for the primary period (up until the acceptance of the nomination) and another $2300 can be given for the general election period.

I thought that was for the congress.   Unless that has been changed since 2004 the presidential limit is a total of 2300 ($2000 in 04) for both primaries and  general.

for 140:
140 Have you noticed the Nazi-comparers (Barack Obama compares the U.S. to Nazi Germany!) behave like Nazis themselves?

That's the oldest trick that liberals play.   They always accuse the Republicans/conservatives of what they are really doing themselves to divert attention from themselves.  Everything they claim about the Republicans/conservatives, is really a confession.

They claim that the Republicans are trying (or have tried)  to steal an election, because they themselves are trying to steal the election. They claim that Republicans are racists, because in reality it is the Democrats and the liberals that are the real racists.
They claim that Bush is Big Brother, but in fact it is they want to create a Big Brother.

Now that you have opened your eyes, look at everything the Dems and libs have ever said about Bush and the Republicans and you will see them as self-incriminating.
