Obama's Caucus Fraud?

You know who I love most this election season? The PUMAs. Their blogs have been the most consistently optimistic and yet full of a gleeful disdain for Barack Obama and his campaign. They tear into Obama with a contagious mirth, and they love Sarah Palin more than certain conservative commentators.

God love 'em, they just happened to find this letter, alleging serious voter fraud in Nevada by Obama's followers. It's a relatively short letter, but it's chock-full of damning allegations. Here's a few:

Systematic Corruption of the Party’s Caucus Procedures
The Committee received substantially similar reports of improprieties of such a number as to leave no conclusion but that the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters engaged in a planned effort to subvert the Party’s caucus procedures to its advantage. For example:

‏ Preference cards were premarked for Obama.

‏ Clinton supporters were denied preference cards on the basis that none were left, while Obama supporters at the same caucus sites were given preference cards.

‏ Caucus chairs obviously supporting Obama:
o Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
o Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
o Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
o Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
o Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.

‏ Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.

That's just a piece of the whole, delicious pie. Go read the whole thing, get angry and hold on to that feeling for the next week and a half. It won't burn you up. It will keep you warm.

Given what we've seen nationally with ACORN and in Virginia with military ballots, it looks like The One and his campaign are taking their tactics nationwide. After watching the We Will Not Be Silenced documentary, it occurred to me that the Obamites might try some of the same intimidation tactics against general-election voters who show up at the polls.

Between that, and what are sure to be some massively skewed exit polls from the media around mid-afternoon, election day should be quite a ride. Personally, I'm going into election day determined to vote no matter what I hear, and I hope all of you do the same. I have no doubt there will be disinformation and attempts to make conservatives feel as though their vote doesn't matter, because The One's got it in the bag. Don't allow their propaganda to stop you from going out, casting a vote for McCain/Palin or volunteering for the campaign in some way November 4.

I know all of that's obvious, but I'm righteously pissed off about over Obama's increasingly slimy campaign and the media's outright cheerleading for the guy. Plus, typing all of that was cathartic. Moron therapy...catch the fevah.

1 My favorite bit of that story was that the original copy of the letter, all copies of which were presumably supposed to be removed or destroyed, turned up on a CNN web server.

Interesting.

This whole mess is why I voted early.  I went to the poll yesterday and the only people who were there were the little old ladies.  There was no crowd of button-festooned hacks, each marking their side's territory, no lines inside the building; and best of all - I don't have to talk about politics with anyone at the upcoming Halloween social gatherings.  "Hey, I don't have an opinion anymore man.  I registered it with the proper authorities already.  So how's about you go get me another PBR, and maybe we can talk about something better like restomods vs ratrods."

4 May I respectfully suggest you stay at the polls for a while and watch. Watch carefully. Observe. Have your cell-phone and other cameras at the ready.

Everyone knows the Dems and the MSM are going to pull every dishonest stunt known to them and that's plenty.

Catch them. Video them.

Don't intimidate, harass, annoy or do anything bad. Just be there.

Well, if the media show up and you catch them lying, but I repeat myself, them you can shout at. Maybe bring a megaphone for that. Oh wait, freedom of speech does not apply to you.

What will be really interesting to see is if the worst case scenario happens, (Obama "victory"), how the PUMAs and more importantly, the Clintons, undermine him for the next four years.

Don't tell me that the Clintons will just lay down and fade away quietly. That has never been their style and I can't see how it would suddenly happen now. Bill especially is very angry with Obama and he is known for his famous vindictive streak. Hillary may be more of a pragmatist, but Bill will be out for blood. Ahem, perhaps a bad choice of words when dealing with the Clintons. Seriously, though. Obama better watch his political back. Bill and Hillary (to a lesser extent) will do everything possible to undermine an Obama administration. Quietly, of course. Nothing overtly obvious, unless O's popularity takes a nosedive.

Admit it. Wouldn't we all like to watch the absolute bloodbath that will occur in the party when the Clintons direct their wrath on the Democrats who betrayed them? Talk about a popcorn moment. The Clintons are the most vindictive politicians on the scene right now and we all know that they have long memories and keep detailed notes.

The PUMAs will also be fighting in the trenches until 2012. Don't get me wrong. I don't want Obama anywhere near the White House, but if there is a silver lining, it will be watching the Chicago Thug Machine run up against the Arkansas Mafia. Maybe they can distract and wound each other enough so that a real Republican can run in 2012.

Also, if Obama really shits up the joint, would the PUMAs dare challenge him in a primary run in 2012?

Rush, Sean , Levin etc. need to warn their listeners about the exit polls. I've already fired off some emails to about 8 talk show hosts and I've also warned republican family, friends and co-workers and wrote a letter to my local newspaper.

On election day 2004 one of the exit polls had Kerry winning PA (my state) by 18 points. Kerry actually won by 3 points. The MSM never misses a trick and we all know we'll be bombarded by phony exit polls on 11/4.

It's up to us to spread the word non-stop for the next 11 days.

I see this election as a referendum on the MSM. I want to ram it down their throats on election day. I desperately want to see Chris Matthews and his buddies meltdown live on national TV. It'll be the greatest piece of television in the history of the universe. I'll record it and watch it over again for many years to come.

I've seen some speculation that Hillary can't come up with an October Surprise because it will enrage her party.

That's just not so. Anybody who remembers the 90s should remember how Bill pretty much destroyed the Dem party, they didn't recover until 2006.

Also, quick question, according to the NYTimesWashPostCNNABCCBSNBCetc., who keeps accusing Obama! of being a Muslim and who keeps reminding people that he's black and all the other things Hillary brought up in the primary race?

That's right, it was the evil VRWC.

That's one of the  things making this the funniest end of civilization ever, Hillary is a member of the VRWC.

21 Scott, we probably shouldn't even pose that question before the election. The answers are just too grim (especially if O moves to consolidate his gains: illegal aliens to the voter rolls, the Fairness Doctrine, and "new" one-party states from DC, Cali, Long Island etc).

22 Not to beat a dead horse, here, but Obama's back ground is communist agitation. He is a Alinsky devotee.

Communist Agitators have been using caucus and small democratic vote tricks for the last 100 years. They used this kind of corruption to take over small unions back in the 20s and 30s as well as city council votes and other 1-room elections until the red-scare when this stuff was ratted out.

It came back in the 60s on a smaller scale, but this type of thuggery and fraud is part of the playbook. Literally. It's a scary thing to read about and to hear about it coming back in a presidential caucus is pretty darn unnerving.

It's real comical day. We find that the democrats have spent millions of their stolen taxpayer dollars on ACORN and ACORN being the organized criminal outfit it is stole most of the millions. Only about 1/3 the number of voters registered they have been claiming and most of them are illegal voters. New we know where shuck and jive Hussein is getting a lot of his criminal donations, from congressional democrats, to ACORN, to ACORN members pockets, to Hussein in illegal contributions. Hussein trained them well in criminal activities.

28 I dunno about other states, but the McCain-Palin campaign in Colorado is asking people to sign up for poll watching on election day.  Please call your local office and sign up, if you've got even a few spare hours.  Even if you're holding your nose to pull the lever, a fair democracy is important enough for us to give this much.

29 People get shot down here when they express doubt that this thing can still be won by McCain based on every poll in the country saying so. And I understand that the reason is that talking about these doubts is detrimental because it is likely to become a self-fulfilled prophecy.
But I find 10 stories like this a day even more discouraging. There is nothing we can do about it, the MSM will not touch anything that could reflect negatively on Obambi. So all these stories do is give us a sense of futility. We see this election being stolen from us through thuggery and the MSM's all out Obama propaganda and real news suppression.
Is there an upswing to burying our heads in the sand when it comes to polls  but then dwell on the fact that all the cards are stack against us in this alliance of cheating, thuggery and MSM cover ups?

I agree - I love the PUMAs. I read Uppity Woman every day. She's got great articles and maintains a positive attitude. I can't stomach many of my favorite rightwing blogs. MM is always on a rant, Hot Air couldn't do a better job of conservative suppression if they were voting for Obama. The right side of the blogosphere is depressing the base.

I know Ace doesn't want happy talk, but if you read the PUMAs it isn't happy talk, it's information, and it doesn't make you want to cancel your cable t.v.

AOS, JammieWearingFool, Iowahawk, Gateway Pundit, Sister Toldjah, Wizbang are among the few readable blogs these days. Hillbuzz and UW are also great. Powerline has been upset over Pawlenty's nonselection, NRO has been a mess most of the time, more than Junior Buckley need to go to TNR.

It's been a disappointing time for conservatives but we need to focus and we don't have much time to get our act together.

I've already voted - and now I volunteer as much as possible with the local Victory office. Get out there and make a difference.

Handwringing is absolutely useless. The PUMAs put us to shame.

33 What this corroborates is that Obama's allegiance is not to his party, but only to himself.  If he can benefit from subverting the legitimate processes of his own party, he will do so in half a heartbeat.  Every Democrat in elected office should be concerned by this.  He has thrown every one of his friends and even his own grandmother under the bus during the campaign.  What makes any of them think they would have immunity if he needed a scapegoat?

Well, I've been screaming for MONTHS that Obama's past as an Alinsky-trained community organizer is the key to undersatnding him and his campaign--and every day, it is further confirmed.  The tactics described are EXACTLY how community organizers are trained to dominate meetings, with the added features that concern preference cards.

The financial shenanigans, the race-baiting, the "in your face" speech, the way they ran the primary caucuses, it is ALL from the Alinsky playbook.  As anyone who has dealt with these types in Chicago could tell you.

But no one ever wanted to listen---they just thought "Oh, 'community organizer' that sounds harmless, maybe even a bit silly," and Palin made her little joke in her acceptance speech at the RNC... but this is DEADLY serious and it is not just how he campaigns, but how he will govern.

1. Intimidation

2. Silence the opposition

3. Stoke grievances, don't give people of good will a chance to solve a problem, keep the anger boiling and keep pitting group against group and person against person.  There is always SOMEONE you can blame for any problem, do it to keep people angry.

4. Never fight fair; if you can get an unfair advantage, use it.  Remember, "by any means necessary" means just what is says.  With the media covering for you, you CAN get away with (political) murder.

2004 may be remembered as the last "free" election in the United States, with 2008 a transitional year where the fraud and intimidation determined the outcome, but by 2012 the censorship and fear may well be institutionalized.

I just mentioned that someplace else and was told that for many conservatice commentators, their disdain for Palin is 'blue-blooded elitism', that she didn't go to an Ivy League school.  I guess that is the exact reason why she resonates with so many of the  Joes and Janes out there, energizing the McCain campaign and giving it a chance to win this thing.

43 Expect a particularly dirty election day.

Indeed.  The interesting thing this time is that technology will make Obama's the best documented case of election fraud in history.  Video cell phones are pervasive now, where they weren't so much so in 2004, and they're so small that they can't be eliminated unless every voter or poll watcher were strip searched.

Sheer weight of video evidence after the fact if he "wins", will cast major doubt on the legitimacy of his presidency.

46 If they had just had primaries, Clinton would have won the democratic nomination. These caucuses, which Hillary and Bill were loudly complaining about at the time, won Obama the nomination. Remember when Bill Clinton was raging against the corruption of the Nevada caucus? At the time it sounded like whining, but after the Obama thuggery that was widely reported in the Texas caucus, the pattern became clear to me. Obama had found a weakness in the caucus system and exploited it. He lost in the real primaries, but clobbered Hillary in caucuses, where thuggery and extreme ground organization make it very easy to overwhelm a caucus result.

I don't understand the defeatest attitude of the right. I thought you guys were tougher then that. Everytime I hear a conservative pundit talk about how McCain has next to no chance of winning, how it is over, how he is low in the polls, how he is running an erratic campaign... blah blah blah

Those are liberal media talking points!

The right is killing their own candidate, and I don't get it. This is crunch time. You may not love everything about him, but it is McCain or Obama. And every negative article or comment about McCain is a potentially lost vote.

The Obama camp tried all these tactics on Hillary: push her out, she is finished, it's over... She won the friggin thing and PUMAs are still fighting for her, filing suits, making videos, writing letters!

Don't believe the polls. Those are even skewed to favor Obama.

I believe the media is calling it over, to get all of you to stay home. Don't! And bring a friend to the polls with you. I also think Obama is pushing early voting because of an anticipated October surprise. Today I heard an African American Republican, who is voting for Obama tell the audience, "Vote Early, and vote OFTEN!"  What is this? American Idol?

I am MORE amazed everyday that so many people are like minded in the thuggery....though never a Hill or Bill fan, I will say that this campaign has helped me to see the humanity underneath the political parts of them. AND that I could relate to! I hate what happened to her and to former President Clinton during this campaign. There were 3 things that made me feel compassion for Bill was 1) When they made him out to be racist (MSM aka/Obama Propaganda Machine) 2) When they played "Addicted to Love" as a go away to him at the convention - that really steamed me. It was such a blatant stab in the back. and 3) Watching Bill mouth the words "I love you forever" when Hill gave the DEM Convention speech. He was CLEARLY proud of her. And since he really has been a cad in the romance department, it was refreshing to see that he actually appreciates her. Lots of stuff made me have compassion for Hill.

"Go read the whole thing, get angry and hold on to that feeling for the next week and a half. It won't burn you up" Actually it DID burn me up! Lots of undecideds and soft yeses for Obama need to see this!

Look at how well Hillary did in Primaries where there weren't any caucus's. Trust me there are alot of long time Dems voting McCain even ones like myself that were not Reagan voters.

Make calls get out the vote Clinton Dems are doing all we can to help.

56 This made me laugh.  I can't believe how dedicated this group is to the destruction of Obama.  They'll all vote for McCain, even if they disagree with every single policy out of pure spite.  That's some hardcore dedication.  I can't wait to see what happens when the illuminati MSM find out that this is the source of their messiah's loss.

Obama looks to be the George W. Bush who never was. You know, the one the unhinged left described: stealing elections, silencing or imprisoning critics.

If you don't want those "George W. Bush policies," don't vote Obama.

Posted by: Original Roy at October 24, 2008 11:37 AM (vtR2g)

Its called "projection", Roy. The Left has been "projecting" on to conservatives what they will do when they get in power. All anybody had to do was pay attention to the rabid, screeching, insanity spewing from the swamplands of the moonbats. Now the moonbats have there candidate poised to win. They can taste it.

58 From John Fund's book Stealing Elections:

"[T]he United States has a haphazard, fraud-prone election system befitting an emerging Third World country rather than the world's leading democracy....
"Ironically, Mexico and many other countries have election systems that are far more secure than ours. To obtain voter credentials, the citizen must present a photo, write a signature and give a thumbprint. The voter card includes a picture with a hologram covering it, a magnetic strip and a serial number to guard against tampering. To cast a ballot, voters must present the card and be certified by a thumbprint scanner. This system was instrumental in allowing the 2000 election of Vicente Fox, the first opposition party candidate to be elected president in seventy years.
"But in the United States, at a time of heightened security and mundane rules that require citizens to show ID to travel and even rent a video, only seventeen states require some form of documentation in order to vote."

Mexico. Mexico! has fairer elections than we do. This is sickening.

59 @44:
wouldn't polls that say that your candidate is losing make you even more motivated to fight?

Yeah, that seems obvious doesn't it? Unfortunately, a hell of a lot of people's minds don't work the way yours and mine do. For many folks, evidently their self-confidence is so fragile that if the guy they vote for loses, they personally feel like losers! Sadly, many folks would rather not risk that.

The argument to make with these people is to remind them of the whole "mandate" concept. The total number of votes "our guy" gets--even if he ends up losing--has very real and important consequences. The greater the absolute number of votes the loser gets, the less of a mandate the winner will have. This can really make a difference in how much of his policy agenda the winner actually will be able to get accomplished.

Ergo, EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

61 Everyone needs to be aware of the one tactic that the Obot pollmonkeys like to use: them claiming not to be able to find your name on the books.  Don't stand for it.  I bet they'll try to roll this one out BIG time.

"If we can just get past this election without the MSM engineering an Obama victory against all possible logic and odds, then it's easier crusing from then on: they are teetering on the edge of oblivion already, their only hope for a future is to get him in office and pass legislation to protect them from competition and alternate sources of information. This election isn't Obama vs McCain. It's the legacy media vs the American people."

After the Kerry loss in 2004, the mega rich people who own the Democrat party (and who'd put a lot of money into the Kerry loss) regrouped and now we're seeing the results of their efforts.

I don't think they'll go away if they lose again.  They'll regroup and start funding more ACORNs, more MSM bullshit.  If you think this election's events are indicative of the far left's last gasp, you're deluding yourself.

This fight will require something else.

RJ, It's not pure spite--it's principle over party. We don't like people cheating to get elected, not from either party. We're not voting issues this time--we're voting for Democracy. So, while we may disagree with McCain on nearly every single policy, we agree with him on personal integrity.

64 One documentary about the caucus frauds and the sham roll call vote in Denver is available now on Amazon. "The Audacity of Democracy" by Brad Mays. Gigi Gaston's film "We Will Not Be Silenced 2008" has a full preview on her site. Please check it out and pass it along to everyone you know. It is important to know what really happened. Money is going to ACORN and we will NOT let the Obama camp re write history so they can pull this crap again next election. He did not "win" anything much less "fair and square"

Former Dem...now PUMA NEVER GOING BACK HOWARD!

I witnessed what that sham corrupt party did when I was in that rulz committee meeting. They broke every rule in the handbook to crown the fraud. It is not okay to circumvent our entire democratic process. If you thought we were going away you thought wrong! People have fought and died so that no matter our walk in life we would have a voice in government with our vote. This year the democratic party and the media who played along...stole that right away from millions of American citizens. No party is deserving of loyalty who does not think you have the right to vote and to have it reflected fairly in the outcomes of our elections. Worse, the media knew and did nothing, said nothing.

So you left us no choice, and you crowned a fraud. But we are not going to forget because what you pulled was a disgustingly low crime against the American voters and our process of electing officials BY THE PEOPLE.
