1 Last thing McCain should do is fight the last war. We've lost the press. Obama could be a card-carrying member of the Nazi Party (in fact, he's the only candidate who campaigned in Berlin.) The press would not report it. McCain had better run ads explaining to the American people that they're about to lose their rights to free speech and association. Then, he should resign the Senate in protest the moment Pelosi unveils the Fairness Doctrine.

5 Quick question, we know that Obama claims to have "voted" against the Iraq war on general anti-American principal in 2002/2003, but that he supports/supported the Afghanistan war. I am curious if he was also knee jerk anti-American about Afghanistan in the early days. You know, the whole Goddamn American and chickens coming home to roost thing his pastor talked about....

8 At what point will the press force Obama to own up to the full extent of his ties to ACORN? At what point will the press demand a full accounting of Obama’s ties to the New Party? At what point will the depth of Obama’s redistributionist economic stance be acknowledged?

Um... this is a rhetorical set of questions, right?

It's a good bit of information, but not well written for anyone who isn't already convinced.

Why? Because even though Kurtz says we can ignore whether ACORN & the New Party were indeed Socialist from the bone, he then goes on to drop the S word repeatedly.

He should have just staked out his ground up front that he believes them to be Socialist organizations, and proceeded to use the example that he does to support that belief, and then ask the MSM to follow up on these disturbing ties between them and Obama.

Lots of red meat, just not as well presented as it deserves to be, and therefore a bit self-defeating as the undecideds will interpret it as alarmist.

Amen. It's the downside of democracy. You don't win by pushing what the voters SHOULD want to hear about; you win by pushing what they DO want to hear about.
Which alas, doesn't include Wm Ayers' filthy laundry either. Gen. Public just ain't caring, and it's pretty much too late to get 'em to start caring.
But they DO seem to care about the economy melting down! So given that our time and energy and money aren't unlimited, maybe a little tighter focus is called for here?
