“This is a bombshell. We now have undeniable proof that a significant number of fraudulent voters were cast in Democrat primary races for the New Mexico legislature as a result of ACORN’s voter registration fraud."

Press release from the New Mexico GOP:

Fraudulent Votes Cast in New Mexico

Obama’s ACORN Must Be Shut Down Before Election, All Activities Investigated

(Albuquerque, NM) – Public records released in New Mexico today confirm that fraudulent voter registrations are in fact turning into fraudulent votes. ACORN, currently under investigation by the FBI, is now confirmed to be responsible for producing fraudulent voter registrations and illegal votes in New Mexico. An inspection of public records has revealed that illegal votes were cast in New Mexico’s 2008 primary election.

“This is a bombshell. We now have undeniable proof that a significant number of fraudulent voters were cast in Democrat primary races for the New Mexico state legislature as a result of ACORN’s voter registration fraud,” remarked State Representative Justine Fox Young (R-Albuquerque). “No longer can ACORN argue that their phony voter registration forms don’t translate into fraudulent votes. They do and today we can prove it.”

...

“It is safe to say that the number of illegal votes being cast dwarfs the 366 votes that decided the 2000 Presidential election in New Mexico,” said Nina Martinez, Secretary for the Republican Party of New Mexico. “Barack Obama contributed $832,000 to ACORN, organized an ACORN subsidiary, represented them as their attorney, trained some of their members and received ACORN’s endorsement. Obama should withdraw his financial support from ACORN and come clean about what he knows of their activities. Every fraudulent vote cancels out an honest vote. We must ensure the integrity of this year’s election.”

Note that the fraud occurred in the Democratic Primaries-- but so far all we know is that legislative races were effected. The presidential voting occurred on a different day.

But is anyone stupid enough to believe Obama's paid-off Chicago Machine vote fraud outfit was submitting fraudulent votes in a legislative primary, but not on behalf of their own boy?

Apart from the Obamamedia, I mean.

Based upon this thin record, can we start throwing around willy-nilly wild accusations that Obama stole the primary from Hillary?

Yes we can.

No one commits voter fraud to pad a margin of victory.

Goofy Post History:

This started out as a flaming skull, but then lost it when the press release cited appeared only on someone's blog and I couldn't establish it was definitely real. So I changed it to a "claim." No skull.

I searched the PR wires and didn't see it. I went to the New Mexico GOP site and didn't see it.

Finally I got the great idea to search my own email box. I get tons of press releases a day; I never bother to look at most of it. Well, it turns out it was there. It's real. I just never saw it.

The only bad thing is the story's kinda old by now. Powerline's had it since earlier today/yesterday. Still, I'll throw the flaming skull up.

2 This is an interesting story, and a sad warning for what's coming in a couple of weeks.  ACORN has never been at it like this, and they are being added by Secretaries of State and our tax dollars and a media that actually doesn't mind this huge story being hidden.

Just as Obama supposedly has 'minor' connections to Ayers, ACORN's frauds won't be proven to have helped Obama until after the election.  They are 'nonpartisan'... maybe they are halping Mccain!

It's a shame that the right isn't well rallied by Mccain, but I'm fired up anyway.  Obama does not finish strong, and Mccain did in the primaries.  This story combined with the smearing of Joe the Plumber paint Obama as the worst presidential candidate since Eugene Debs.  If America knows who Obama is, Obama doesn't stand a chance.

I guess that has nothing to do with anything huh... sorry... I'm starting to think that all media is trying indoctrinate America...

About lying, and ACTING, impartial.

I was Court-Martialed, I know who I am.

I was VERY popular in my command, at the time I was Court-martialed, and my Commander, felt the need to tell everyone WHY I was Court-Martialed (in itself more than a little counter to the rules of the UCMJ, but who cared, it was WICKED, a guy we all knew was guilty, and I was, but not for many things)  He held a briefing explaining why I was CM'd, even though everyone in the command who lived in the barracks was present, even the ones who saw the bitch hit me while I called her names, but it was IMPORTANT to explain all the things I did wrong, according to my commander.

I will leave it at that.

FRAME it as you please, you are not impartial, you wanted an outcome, and you made sure it happened.

It happened to me, and destroyed my career (no, really, my career, all I ever wanted to be was Marine, you destroyed my career cocksucker, his name is Dubois, doesn't matter, he's been retired for 8 years)

Attack, defame, and destroy, find an easy target, like a Lance Corporal, or a PLUMBER, or whatever, DESTROY THEM!  DESTRoY THEM!! and whipe the dust off your shoulder when you are done, because YOU Get off scott free.

Destroy a 22 year old kid, thats fine, destroy, a careerist? thats fine, destroy, destroy destroy, while playing at concern.

BTW, I admit my fuckups with the CM, I will also point out the fact that carrerists, FUCKED ME!

As a matter of fact, when I was denied my first merit, AT THE LAST MINUTE! I requested mast, and I told the SgtMaj, "say what you please, but You are the ones who FUCKED ME!  If you want some physical counseling, I will follow you Sgt. Major, but it doesn't change the fact that YOU FUCKED ME!"  (My Sgt. Major at the time was a body builder, and competed in the national "mr clean look alike contest."  No shit)

I got FUCKED!

All I wanted to be was Marine, and I was damn good at it, look at my page 9 and 11.

Little men stole it from me.  So I left, and I have regretted it every day since.

13 I want to believe.

It's a link to a comment that doesn't know how to cite a press release that quotes party officials.

A press release.

To six votes, one by a Duran Duran member. Which, though funny, isn't going to light a fire under anyone's ass.

Everyone knows that ACORN is committing voter fraud.  But, no one is going to care about six, ten or even a hundred votes this late.

Until the FBI connects the dots -- if they ever do, or want to -- this is going to be too little too late.

Those 200,000 iffy voter registrations in Ohio could get people interested, though.  Big numbers, pound those down the public's throat every day.

Then pile the rest on top as fuel to the fire to burn the fraudsters to the ground.

ACORN is a horribly run organization that has existed outside the eye of the mainstream public for so long that they think bending the rules for their own purpose is justified by the end result.  They've been doing this for years, hiding under the protection of machine politics and liberal justification. So far it has been working because they've never been on the national stage. Or any stage where laws are followed instead of abused.  These people think in terms of "get mine now" let them try to catch me and figure it out later. It's a way of life. I ran two campaigns against this in Chicago. You just accept it and try to overcome it there because no one is going to do anything about it.

Whether they stumbled all the way here like The Chosen One, or not, the only way to bring them down is to hit them with the biggest club you have as hard as you can.

Right now Ohio looks like the place for that to happen due to the disgustingly partisan actions of their Secretary of State. And because Ohio is going to be the last battleground.

Make a stand.

35 The right blogs have a tendency to get excited with what, in a world where people might have brains, would be an obvious slam dunk problem for the left.

But we don't live in that world. And even when the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed, we don't have the power to expose, because the story is always told through liberal filters.

Facts and laws don't matter much. The left sets the rules, tells us how the game is played and tells us when we can play along.

My prediction -- it's another story going nowhere. Election stealing is only something the right does. Got it.

Why don't we nominate someone to smoke crack and get arrested so they can have the bona fides necessary to join ACORN?  After two years on the inside, the plant could move up to mid-level fraud management.  Write a book and spend the rest of their lives bunking with Salmon Rushdie.

I can't for the life of me figure out why every republican politician isn't out there talking about this. This is the very heart of America; if we can't trust our voting system then we are truly screwed. Without fair elections nothing else matters. Why bother having an election if the people "in charge" do not care about its integrity. This is just sickening to me. If I lived in Ohio, I would be gathering my friends and family with big signs and start picketing. We need to start screaming at the top of our lungs about this, we need to go out and make the media cover this. I think Sean or Rush should start encouraging people to ban together peacefully where all of this voter fraud is taking place. If enough people start showing up the media will have to cover it.

73  FBI Finally on to These Guys

WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI is investigating whether the community activist group ACORN helped foster voter registration fraud around the nation before the presidential election. A senior law enforcement official confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Thursday.

A second senior law enforcement official says the FBI was looking at results of recent raids on ACORN offices in several states for any evidence of a coordinated national scam.

74 It's pretty easy to become an election worker, and then to work your way up to either election judge or alternate election judge, depending on your party and your local majority party. It won't enable you to do anything about fraudulent absentee or mail-in ballots, but you can make sure there's no hinkiness about voters signing the registration books. Take a vacation day and work the elections, help keep them honest. You can even volunteer to be a poll watcher in another precinct that you're more concerned about than your own. Keep some daylight on this mess.

75 Unless this shit hits the nightly news with headlines tying it to Obama, it'll mean nothing to a gigantic proportion of voters.

If only. The Obama supporters I've talked to have reacted to all accusations of fraud, cheating and shady dealings by their Messiah with the attitude "So what? All politicians do that."

And I guess, if you're a Democrat, that may be true. All kudos to the PUMAs for seeing through this long-standing fog.

77 Crazy thing is, in New Mexico, I can walk in to vote without ever showing my ID or voter registration card; all that's necessary is my word that I am who I am.

By the way, I live in the capitol city of NM (shares the same initials as that left coast loony bin, San Francisco), which is chock full of leftwing loonies. My friends who share my views don't call it 65 square miles surrounded by reality for nothing.

There it is people - in Obama's own words near the beginning - the $250k limit is based on the company's REVENUE , not the profit!

That needs to be spread far and wide.  Everybody was assuming that it was profit.  Now Obama has clarified it.  (and for those not 100% clear, profit = revenue minus expenses).  Also, this means that Obama's 95% of small business make less than $250k/yr is a flat out lie - nearly every business that has a store front and nearly every business that has employees gets dinged by this tax increase.

Joe scored another direct hit.

80 smart, you're being a real arrogant shithead while getting your ass kicked by the womenfolk and then insulting them.  Nobody's arguing that the system is perfect.  It's just that most of us have been content to play by the fucking rules and figuring that peer-group pressure would keep people from trying to game the system in an obvious manner.  That you have a bunch of assfucks like ACORN doing this while all the dickweed gatekeepers at the MSM turning a blind eye isn't so much an indictment of the system per se as pointing out what a concerted effort of complicity this is.  The system has always been open to traitorous cocksuckers like Ayers to use it against itself; it depends on enough standup people to reject that.

Logic?  Using your logic, if someone travels at 110mph the wrong way on the Interstate trying to hit oncoming cars, it's the traffic laws that are the problem.  There is very little wrong with the voting system we have until criminal losers break the law trying to cheat their way to power.  When people vote with honor and integrity, conservatives tend to win.  The "consequence" is that unhinged liberals decide that "By Any Means Necessary" is a valid campaign strategy because the majority of people are too stupid to understand that liberals know what is best for everyone else.

107 PUMA here, thank you for the post, we KNEW we were robbed we SAW the thugs bussed in for caucuses, cauci?, and perhaps the best evidence is the thousands of complains filed with the TX DEM PARTY after the TX two step. Even cheating Obummer couldnt win it. ACORN couldnt deliver PA OH TX but Lake County, is Gary, Indiana, was literally counting the votes they needed to stuff the ballots live on CNN so they had to call it a night and merely steal what should have been a wide margin, until it was a squeaker of a win.

I am CONVINCED Obummer stole NC and am sure he plans to do it again, We had youtubes up of Obummer peeps wiht a table setup INSIDE the polling places offering to ASSIST voters, yu huh. the DNC could care less.

We called outraged, yelling, calling Sheriffs. No one would help uis. Everuone said the party nominee selection process is an internal matter and we had no standing to challenge any of it.

Well, now we are in the GE, and millions of Clinton Democrats, ie Moderates, are seeing that our party now literally in Chicago, is completely corrupted and we have moved to join the GOP to put our country first.

I am thankful for Ace and HotAir, but we couldnt get any traction in the press either. They tore Hillary up one side and down the other, and trashed all women to do so. Now they have turned on MAC and what theya re doing to Sarah and her family is appalling. These neo progressive Uber assholes need to G-O. Where I dont care, I just dont want them running our party.

to finish up:

And tell me, if fraudulent voter registrations don't lead to fraudulent votes, why do it?  And what about the absentee ballots?  Since the ID of those voters is discarded once the envelope is opened, you don;t think that his might be another path for the fraudulent voters to take?  In fact, if you have been paying attention, you might find that this is already happening.

And if I believe that the checks at the voting booth work, then Mickey Mouse will not cast a vote, at least not enough votes to change the outcome of the election (we all assume the system is not perfect).

Bush won Ohio but just over 150,000 votes.  They recently discovered over 200,000 fraudulent registrations.  (How many have gotten through that weren't found?  More than that, how many slipped through in 2004, when this wasn't being investigated so closely?)  And yet you don't think that enough fake votes can be cast to swing this election?  It won't take a lot and, if The One is so far ahead, why bother with this massive fraud that ACORN is inflicting on us anyway?

But, hey, what's a couple of hundred thousand fake votes amongst friends, huh?  Really, it's nothing to worry about, right?

No one says the system is perfect.  But that does not give a free pass to groups, like ACORN, who are working day and night to game the system.  Yet you want to toss it off as no big deal.

Why is that?

Posted by: Sybil at October 17, 2008 10:49 AM (EW49d)

110 I don't think Mickey Mouse has to show up to vote - what are the chances an absentee ballot will be checked out that closely? And of course absentee ballots can be sent for the Dallas Cowboys and for all the fraudulent registrations.

I live in Chicago, my friend. The party here most certainly commits voter fraud to pad the margin. That's why Democrats get 90% in the mayoral election and not 60%.

At 60%, the other sides crazy ideas in their heads like, "if we just work harder, organizer better, and get a better candidate we could win next time!"

At 90%, everyone cries in their beer and moves to the suburbs.

Margins matter in a primary so as to demoralize the opponent(s). Your guy gets 65% instead of 51% so it looks like the horse race is over, so give it up already. Margins matter in a general election for the purpose of a 'mandate', something the Obama camp maintains they want.

And besides, fraud is what ACORN does. They're the stinging scorpion of politics.

Here is the ruling from scotusblog.

Folks we are getting closer to a banana republic here and leader for life.

132 Its too late to shut down ACORN, they've done too much damage by now. This should have been looked into and dealt with years ago. Now it's too late. If Senator Obama is elected president, then this will all just go away as if there never was a problem to begin with.

Posted by: Christopher Taylor at October 17, 2008 01:47 PM (0+Ggj)

133 Sybil: ACORN is out to pad the margins for victory. It's a mark of insecurity for The Obamessiah's people. They can't settle for a close win, they need, NEED, a knockout. So hence the fraud. It's 100% BS, ACORN just needs completed (sort of) ballots, the reps know it, hence the fraudulent ballots. The reps take the dive if the results get questioned, and then it's stall, stall, stall until the election & it's too late to sift the wheat from the chaff. That's why Ohio is about to boil over next month. The Dems & ACORN got caught, and they ran for cover. Too late though, if Obama does win everybody will know the result is crooked, and we'll have lawsuits & ballot-sorting until Christmas again.

The best thing for Ohio is for EVERYBODY who is registered, and doesn't like Obama/Biden, to vote on election day. There are enough pro-McCain (or at least anti-Obama) votes to get a legal win or force a runoff/recount. Then we can put Ms. Cheater to the public test, and give her the time to shake out those bogus registrations & ballots as necessary.

aaron: I am glad you told those ACORN bozos to stuff it. Part of me is still intrigued on what you might have been told if you said "yes".

McCain-Feingold campaign finance free speech restriction bill wasn't passable legislation until McCain failed in his presidential bid.  However, that was a bill passed by a Republican House, a Democratic Senate, and signed by a Republican President.

Prospects of any reform of voter registration with a Democratic House, a Democratic Senate, and a Democratic President: USA is more likely to win the World Cup in Soccer.

No surprise here in NM--been going on for years in the northern counties.  100% + turnout is nothing new.  More votes than there were people who walked through the door of the polling place.  Voter ID?  Secretary of State's page lays it all out here.  All you have to do is say you are registered to vote.  One acceptable "form of identification":

Verbal or written statement of the voter’s name, address, and year of birth (statement of the voter’s name need not contain the voter’s middle initial or suffix)

Crap pisses me off.
