Official Ace of Spades HQ Endorsement: Barack Obama for President

He seems like a really awesome guy, a rara avis, which is I think a precious Latin way to say "rare bird." As a fellow erudite, on the ball fellow, I endorse him, because really, he's awesome and all like I said earlier, and also Sarah Palin is not nearly as qualified as lifelong dullard Joe Biden ("lifelong dullard" is a Latinate phase meaning "crafty statesman") and furthermore I am worried that Sarah Palin will continue faking pregnancies if she becomes President, like if there's a major foreign crisis, Bam!, out comes the fat suit, and she tries to tell people to go away because her water's breaking as she hides beneath the Resolute Desk.

And incidentally-- who's funding those fat suits, anyway?

In addition, I think it is despicably, unforgivably racist to attempt to "link" someone to their close associates, mentors, and political allies. And pastors.

And wives.

And their stated policies, for that matter. And their clearly announced, videotaped statements.

What, did I just wake up in the Jim Crow south? It's a high-tech lynching, for goodness sakes.

So here is my official endorsement.

Incidentally, and this is utterly unrelated and I don't know why I think to mention it now, but I have a really good screenplay, could easily gross $300 million, and so I'm just mentioning that even in this post, you know, for shits and giggles, but in case anyone connected with the industry is reading, hey, give me a call, let's do lunch and get into bed and all those cliches from the eighties.

I too would like to take this opportunity to endorse Barack Obama for President.  McCain is old and prone to stubborness, demonstrated by his unwillingness to denounce Bush and the illegal Iraq War.

Obama, by contrast, has changed virtually all of his positions in the past two years, thereby demonstrating a willingness to adapt without being a slave to his own ideology.  I sincerely believe that he'll use his intellect and willingness to reconsider recently held positions to cut taxes on the middle class, help the economy, deliver the downtrodden from poverty and bring hope to this country.

I'm sorry, there's not enough space to fully express my opinion on this matter.  If there are any attractive ladies in the Minneapolis area between the ages of 18-30, C-cup or larger and possessing loose morals who'd like to discuss this further, contact me for directions to my basement motel.

All right people I need some advice.

My brother is a hard left nutjob. He wasn't always like this- but about 5 years ago he met and married a hard left nutjob, which pretty much made him a hard left nutjob too. I won't go on and on but trust me- his conversion was so stark, it's straight out of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

Needless to say, they're totally in the tank- W let 9/11 happen, war for oil, 'selected not elected'- you know the drill.

But I never thought he'd be so in the tank for such a zero as Obama. I thought my brother cared about America just enough to know that Obama will be a disaster, and to either vote for McCain, or if he couldn't do that, then at least not vote for Obama. I never thought my brother would vote for this. But he will.

I never go to their house because of her, but now, I don't even want to be around them anywhere. I want to be done with them. They're almost dead to me now because of their infatuation for Obama. I don't know what to do.

Posted by: Jones/CO at October 14, 2008 07:30 PM (KOkrW)

56 If I want to tell all my liberal Facebook friends that even a staunch conservative such as yourself has seen the light, can I illustrate my post with a flaming skull or something else suitably impressive? No. The only graphical option you leave me is the Amazon button, "Hi. I have no life. Please give me your money." Such an important message to communicate and I must be use something so painfully autobiographical. Shame on you, sir. And shame on the ACORN office in Indianapolis which still hasn't paid me after I did such fine work.

A dramatic conversion such as described by you can be explained medically.  Your brother is not sociopathic or suffering from dementia, he simply has a teenage fixation on pussy.  It's all about the pussy.  Nothing more and nothing less.  There is no cure for beaver fixation, but you may want to mention that it's not made of gold, and amazingly, every woman and Barney Frank has one.

You confirmed the obvious.  On a 3rd marriage, most men would agree to anything, eat a mountain of excrement sandwiches, speak ill of their mother, and perform an unnatural act simply to retain the pussy.  Once that pussy flees the nest, it requires the male to begin the hunt again, and in your brother's case, 4 times ain't a charm.  Kick him to the curb until he regains his sanity.

PS - My brother's boy, 42 years old, was gifted 5 years at the University of Texas by the family, and he recently announced his intention of voting for O'Bambi.  He has no idea what lies ahead, but the internal memo states he is no longer in the inheritance model.  He will find out only upon our passing.  What a jerkoff.

Dear Jones/CO,

Obviously, your brother has fallen victim to what psychiatric journals call "Leftist Voodoo Poonanny Syndrome" or LVPS. LVPS is transmitted by exposure to vaginal secretions of alien female life forms sent from Planet Berkely in the late 1960's.

While LVPS is rarely fatal, it can result in reduced productivity, hostility toward moderate or right-leaning friends and family, and prolonged periods of self-loathing. In extreme cases, LVPS patients have been observed defecating in their hands and throwing it at those with whom they disagree.

Most LVPS sufferers will not seek treatment, since they think they couldn't possibly be wrong, about anything. Your only recourse is to perform a full-blown intervention. You will have to recruit some non-infected friends and a stripper. With their help, abduct your brother. He will need to be restrained, of course. You will then have to administer appx. 750ml of Valu-Rite brand vodka. This should be consumed out of the stripper's vagina.

After the dosage is complete, release your brother from his restraints. He will begin to vomit. Avoid contact with this secretion. It is highly toxic. Help your brother get on the street and locate the nearest vagrant. Assist your brother in beating the vagrant until he is dead. As the vagrant's soul leaves his body, the LVPS virus will be expelled from his body in what may appear to be a rather violent ejaculation.

Administer Alka Seltzer and appx 1 liter of water. Allow your brother to rest for at least 12 hours. He will wake up refreshed and free of the LVPS infection.

86 Jones/Co:
Firstly, you'll need a small bore pistol, or long thin knife. Concentrate above the neck and behind the ear, either one. Get a tarp, some lime and a lovely spot in the country under a tree that sheds alot of leaves or needles. Make your hole big enough for two. Two pod people.
Be careful, when you stab those pods they scream like hell...more of 'em will just show up and then you're screwed. You can only do so many body snatchers in at one time.
Watch out for Donald Sutherland, as he was one of these pod-people in a movie and liked it so much he stayed that way. Now , twenty years later every damn thing in Hollyweird is full of these pod people. Madonna, Alec Baldwin, even Richie Cunningham from Happy Days, though the pod-copy doesn't have any hair.
Anyway, do your pod-people family in, then get out of town quick...the bastards are relentless and when they die they stink like wilted lettuce.
Anyway, thought you should know what to do with pod-people. My brother married one but I love 'em too much to snuff 'em  like that, so I just go over wearing my Reagan was Right Tee short and she runs away like Dracula in a garlic shop. My brother hasn't gone all the way over to the Dark Side but he's close to paduwan liberal status.
I worry about him. What can you do?

Good luck, guy. Liberalized pod people are tougher that shit-stained underwear to get rid of.

90 My brother is a hard left nutjob.

For what it's worth; just excise any discussion of politics with him & spouse. It's not really worth it to argue with family. Even if you somehow 'bested' him in an argument, what have you won? Nothing. What do you lose if you avoid politics with him. Again, nothing.

Family can't be replaced. Just stick to the things you have in common. If he insists, just calmly let him know that you value your relationship over politics. If he don't understand that, well, it's a great opportunity to be the better person.

@ Ace

Hey man I could use a taste of some of that dough.  In fact I've got a killer idea for a TV show.

It's about a guy who has a seriously cool black man for a President and who is surrounded by all these crazy-ass killer white people, all of whom are trying to subvert America, kill the great black President and stick their dicks in some apple pie, and the guy has only -24 hours- to save the world!

I'm calling it "Just about one fucking day".

Killer man!  It'll make millions!

101 Hmmmm.

"Funny thing though, to be a "Conservative" who could endorse The One you have to convince yourself that he really doesn't mean what he says, he's just playing his Hard Left supporters."

Which is even funnier if you remember that his hard left supporters are continuing to support Obama as he shifts to the center because they believe it is an act and that his real policies are all ultra hard left.

So someone is going to look like a real asshole come January 21, 2009 if Obama wins.  And something tells me it's going to be Mr. Buckley here.

Posted by: memomachine at October 14, 2008 09:52 PM (f4Zt4)

102 Waaaay late to the conversation, but the Parker clip was revolting.  How dare she carp on about Palin's lack of substance and qualifications and then riff on her shoes and hair?  She just showed her substance and it was junior high bitch girl.

On Buckley, I'm not ready to buy it.  He's a libertarian and there are many who refuse to vote for McCain because he will destroy any attempt to drag the country toward sanity by his actions if elected President.  Not to put to fine a point on it, but just like Bush.  So as I understand the thinking, and I was certainly there before Palin, let the country see naked socialism in it's glory and not have these fake Republicans damage the brand any longer.  IF that is what he thinks, I'm down with that and do not forget he's a humor guy for the most part.  Some of the things he said seem like parody.  Perhaps there is a reason.

And Buckley was right when he said the Republicans had left him.  They left me too.  I'm not worried about the dems, guys, I'm worried about the Republicans who, like McCain, are the me too, but slower version of the Democractic Party.

That brand kept us in the wilderness for years until Reagan and it will take us right back there to minority status.  Mock Buckley all you want, but for those of us with principled conservative or libertarian values, McCain is a joke and he will damage our ability to make gains BECAUSE he will be connected to us in the media while having very few of our policy proscriptions or ideals.

Yes, I know the O is a nightmare and I'm voting for McCain.  But seriously, can you not see that running with this leaves us in great peril as conservatives?  We lose either way, but if we don't have something to run on in 2010, it might be all over but the crying.  If the terrorists and socialism don't kill us, the bipartisanship will just kill us more slowly.

106 Oh nevermind, I just read Buckley's earlier article in the NYT about McCain.  Please accept my apologies for attributing sound, though controversial thoughts to the man.  I was hopelessly wrong about the direction he was taking.  He even threw in a quote from Obama's book in February.

Of course, since I'm always so late in the comments, no one will read any of this or care, but I just thought I'd take it back in case someone is bored.  Not specifically someone, but generally someone.

Oh look.  Free Pizza.

Finally, someone like me! I, too, wholeheartedly endorse Barack Obama for President, even though his organization calls all of his opponents "racists" and even though I consider John McCain a close, personal friend who's extremely qualified to be President. I also love Joe Biden as a VP pick, even though I can see why Sarah Palin is so hot and so many people adore her as an incredible political talent.

Barack for Prez! I mean, it's not like the Dems could've nominated anyone better, right?
