Palin On Rush Just After 1:30 EST

I doubt any news will break but it might be worth a listen.

Maybe they'll talk about why Republicans keep portraying Obama as a racist.

Oh sorry, that's a liberal and Obama supporter who is portraying McCain as a Klansman. You stay classy Democrats.

That idiot has confused McCain with Bob Byrd, DEMOCRAT of W. Virgina.

I am hoping that the McCain campaign will now unleash McCain and Palin to "go for it" with non-stop aggressive campaigning, both on the ground in the battleground states and daily interviews on TALK RADIO and on CABLE NEWS and maybe some MSM stations of their choice.

I don't think Average American Undecideds are stupid...and in the next 3 weeks, it is possible for McCain/Palin to gain voter support -- especially with all the ACORN voter fraud exposure.  BUT McCain HAS to relate ACORN to Obama and connect the dots so that the average person follows.  Not everyone is a Poli Sci major or a political junkie.  They aren't going "get it" if McCain just starts talking and then assumes people get the connection.  He has to EXPLICITLY make the connection on TV in the last debate.  That way, this connection can't easily be swept under the rug by the MSM.

David, I couldn't agree more.  She has such an energizing presence & just listening to her gives me hope that all is not lost.  Truthfully, imo, I think this election would fall right into McCain's lap if it weren't for Acorn.  With them in the mix, I have no doubt it will not be a fair election.

Georgia Verdier, president of the Elmira-Corning Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said she was concerned about the injection of race into the presidential campaign when someone called her to complain about the scene.

After viewing a photograph of Havens' display, Verdier said it seems innocuous enough...

NAACP: "Racist display of a black man pursued by a Klansman? We're on it! Oh, it's put up by an Obama supporter? Never mind, innocuous."

Can you imagine the exact same display on the property of a Republican, and what reaction it would provoke?

Posted by: Jim62sch at October 14, 2008 01:53 PM (zYagu)

15 Interesting that the comments pretty much rip Havens and Verdier to shreds.

16 I can't wait for the reactions should a President Zero be portrayed as a chimp. Betcha that won't be considered "innocuous enough".

20 "Not a hand-out, but a hand up"?

Isn't that Jesse Jackson's line?

She's still pounding Wall Street as the people that caused this mess instead of pointing to DC and Fannie and Freddie.

If they want to spend the next 3 weeks running against Wall Street it's over. They have to run against the Democrats that caused the financial crisis, not "Wall Street".

Like it or not, accurate or not, the public considers Wall Street and the GOP one in the same.

25 "BUT McCain HAS to relate ACORN to Obama and connect the dots so that the average person follows."

This is crucial, unfortunately I am not sure he is going to do it, his stile is to leave things pretty generic and vague.
Probably everybody has heard about ACORN and voter fraud by now, but few know that it is mostly an issue with the Democrats, even FOX does not link it to the democrats most of the time.

Are you listening, Steve Schmidt?  You are doing a great job, - I think -- and  maybe you have a great strategy -- I hope you do -- but here is some feedback for you...

McCain HAS to do this in the debate --  if he wants to win:

-- use the words MIDDLE CLASS in every other sentence.  Doesn't matter what he says, he just has to say those words MIDDLE CLASS over and over again. That's what Obama did last time.  Beat Obama at his own game

-- quit saying MAVERICK.  We are all sick of that word. Fuhgeddaboutit! We get it.  You say MAVERICK one more time and you look like an old fool. OK?  Cabish? It sounds lame, ok?

-- Pick out 3 main solid exciting points and hammer them over and over again. And they all 3 better be about the ECONOMY and GROWING JOBS -- AND CAN BE IMPLEMENTED IMMEDIATELY in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, etc.

Moreover, he needs to work with a speech coach and learn not to ramble. I am sure he can be an effective president, but he's got to win first.  And he needs to be able  to market himself to voters first.

Obama & Ayers spent $100,000,000 teaching Chicago school children to HATE AMERICA, and to embrace RACIAL SEPARATISM.

That is Obama's idea of "educational reform" for low-income inner-city kids.

Not improved reading skills.

Not improved performance in math and science.

Just hatred of America, and support for racial separatism.

That's what Obama & Ayers did with a $50,000,000 Annenberg Challenge  grant + the $50,000,000 in matching taxpayer's funds.

NAUSEATING.

McCain WILL be hammering this point repeatedly, Wright?

A few important things to keep in mind in this election:

1) Our rights and our freedoms come from GOD, not Democrats

2) Our freedoms are worth defending with the exact same degree of commitment, determination and sacrifice displayed by this nation's Founding Fathers.

3) If our freedoms are to be temporarily subverted by the corrupt Democrat vote-fraud machine and their allies in our Treason Press, we must consistently keep fresh in our minds exactly who betrayed us, and deal with them appropriately when we have restored our nation to it's natural, free condition.

On Yahoo News:  "Shortly before Palin went on the air, the Obama campaign e-mailed around its response, dated Sept. 23, characterizing the McCain campaign’s concern as “a starkly political maneuver to deflect attention from the reality of the suppression strategies pursued by national, state and Republican Party committees.” "

Emphasis mine.  Has a single person been able to say what these strategies are, and when and where they were pursued, and/or link any real individual to them?  Because I think it's just paranoia, and I have yet to see any evidence presented anywhere, even here in Ohio, that any voters were suppressed or prevented from voting.

35 She gigglled when talking to Rush on at least two occasions. Why hasn't this woman been co-hosting Rush's show for the last month? I love Rush, but I figure that if he wants to go golfing some afternoon, he can just hand over the microphone to Mrs. Palin.

Much of Fred Thompson's appeal to me came from his radio commentary prior to his primary run. If Mrs. Palin isn't in the Vice President job next year, I'd love to hear her moonlighting from her Governor job doing radio commentary.

Why does the GOP put up with these constant comparisons to the Ku Klux Klan?

Democrats founded the Klan.

Democrats were the party of the Slave Owner. They split the nation in two in defense of slavery and the expansion of slavery.

Democrats gave birth to the KKK after their efforts to preserve slavery were defeated.

The GOP was founded by fifty Abolitionists.

WE started the Civil War.

Why do our leaders put up with this crap, when they could so easily slap it down with the TRUTH?

40 Share Dvd tools with Mac users!
Here is the result I want to share with Mac users:
1) Cost/Performance: Everybody wants to gain more with less money.
2) Speed: Nobody wants to waste too much time waiting.
3) Profile: Of course we want our software can convert all kinds of video formats.
4) Personal Demands: For example, someone just wants to convert part of the DVD video, or others want the special output video format like PSP compliant forms and etc.
5) Easy to use: we want to make things easy.
