National Enquirer Hit: Obama's Mentor, Communist Frank Marshall Davis, a Pedophile and Pervert

Hillbuzz was exactly right about this story-- they said it would involve homosexuality. I didn't link them, because I didn't believe them.

But that's because I didn't understand the angle they were going for.

So, yeah, Obama's mentor, pervert, pedophile, pinko.

No, this is not the girlfriend story or the other story, obviously. I was sort of confused when Hillbuzz said a story would come out this week about a "sex scandal" with male names. I thought they were so hopelessly off-base I didn't bother linking them. Now I get it.

Thanks to Confederate Yankee. He notes the story is old; the Telegraph ran a similar one. So what, I say. It's new to me.

On a persoanl level, tragic if true. No one should be subjected to that.

On a political level, if this story breaks and Obama tearfully admits to being a victim of child abuse (say...in a thirty minute prime time slot just days before the election), then he will be the next president, hands down.

If Sarah Palin had had someone around her when she was growing up who she learned a lot from, and he ended up writing a book about creepy sex with young girls or something, I'd be concerned for Sarah Palin and hope that she wasn't directly exposed to his creepy side growing up.

I wouldn't be thinking political advantage under those circumstances, and I won't with Barack Obama either. Even if he was abused, and I see no evidence of that, I would not hold it against them.

Men don't talk about it as much so I have no way of knowing how many men I know have faced sexual abuse. I'll say that I haven't personally, but as a teenager have been in a situation where the other person wanted to, definitely, and I had to use the threat of force to extricate myself so I'm sure it happens.

However, a lot, and I mean a lot, of the females I've known in my life have had such experiences as teenagers or even children. Again, most of them get over it to their credit and I wouldn't hold it against them when running for a job.
