I still believe McCain will win.

Think you can. Think you cannot. Either way you are right.

Also, Corsi will be on hannity tomorrow to show evidence of Obama and Odinga working together to disrupt kenya to help Odinga.

There is 3 weeks to go. I have never seen a bigger bunch of quitters. I have always thought that when the hill gets steeper you climb harder.

If everyone on thise site made an hour worth of phone calls for McCain/Palin we could reach thousands upon thousands.

I am going door to door on wednesday in my town to spread the message of Reform.Prosperity.Peace.

The media has all of you throwing in the towel. That is the whole point of these one sided polls and the constant drum-beat of "it's over" by the media.

They did the same to hillary. We can make sure History does not repeat itself.

Send the ACORN ad to everyone.

24 You know what the problem is with professional conservative writers? They have their careers to look after. They think McCain is more likely to lose, so they want to appear as if they knew this ahead of time.

Do not listen to them. When have those people ever won elections? Even people like Fred Barns. Hang up the fucking towel buddy. Bush may carry around the Weekly Standard from meeting to meeting, but you did not do shit to get him elected.

People,s top being such a bunch of whiny little foo foos. Get your ass in gear now. McCain can win.

For heaven's sake. I bet McCain was glad he was abandoned in the primaries with supporters like this. It's a lot easier to carry your own luggage than to have the weight of a thousand crying babies hanging on to the straps as you pull them.

At this rate it won't be us pulling McCain across the finish line, it will be McCain pulling us. Think of the debt we'll owe him.

27 It is sad that we're letting the PUMA's do the heavy lifting for us (thanks, PUMA's, btw). But, that's always been the political nature of Republicans and Democrats. When Republicans get in a tight spot, they tend to duck and cover. When Dems get in a tight spot, they tend to circle the wagons and fight to the last man.

28

that is my point. Why give up now? The election does not end until the 4th.

I have no clue how you guys are letting Obama and the media beat you into submission before the fight has started.

They told Hillary it was over after Iowa. And we won big state after big state after big state.

The only big state obama won was Illinois and NC.

We can and will win. I would not be surprised if a state like Ma goes red. that sounds crazy, but Duval Patrcik was the prototype for obama. He has been a waste.

You are letting the media set the narrative in your head. First, it was McCain had to go on offense then he did and the media said it was not enough. Now they are saying he is finished.

He is finished on the 5th. They both are. We will find out. until then i suggest all of us find as many willing body's as we can to get out to vote.

Poeple are afraid of obama. So use that to YOUR advantage. Stop worrying about McCain and start worrying about our country and fellow citizens.

McCain has run ads on Ayers and Acorn so they are part of the conversation. Use them. What presidential candidate has ever used their stump speech to do nothing but attack their opponents character? None. The supporters are supposed to do that.

You would not have to scream at Mac to fight so hard if some of you would get off your ass's and fight.

Also, FUCK negative news Ace. Does MSNBC or CNN report bad news for Obama? NO. So we need to play by the same rules as them.

If they want to be crooked we have to be just as agressive and work even harder. Not wave the white flag. I have family in the military and they DO NOT want to serve under obama. They DO NOT want to pull out of Iraq and give up on Freedom over there.

Stop being defeatists and start getting involved.

Who says we aren't involved? I talk politics with people any chance I get. McCain doesn't have to attack Obama, all he has to do is tell the truth.

And he certainly doesn't have to give Obama a tongue bath every chance he gets. Why is that so hard not to understand?

How is talking about Obama's record attacking him?

Oh, wow, McCain said, nailing down Obama's various tax proposals is like nailing Jell-o to the wall.

Yowza! You guys feel that sting? I sure did.

I want my president to fight for me. That's his job.

35 Look. Nobody's giving up. It ain't over till it's over, and all that. But McCain is a frustratingly inept candidate who should be walking all over Obama. He has played mr. nice guy on the campaign trail too often to convince me that he's got the stones to fight this thing the way it ought to be fought. We need a win, and short of voter fraud or assassination, McCain should be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that win. Instead he poses as if an "honorable" defeat is better than an "ignoble" victory achieved by dragging Obama through the slime of his own sordid past.

Ever read "The Dark Knight Returns"? Batman defeats the Mutant leader only after forcing his younger and stronger adversary into the mud, where Bats has a clear advantage. This is McCain's only hope, and if he's not willing to get dirty, the Mutant hordes are going to overrun Gotham.

I'm trying to watch football dammit. Why is he even bothering to run commercials in Maryland. I haven't seen one single McCain commercial during football. Has anyone noticed this crap. Are these national commercials or local?

42 You'd think THAT ONE would rather spend his money on promoting himself than in a lawsuit, which could easily be dropped with a birth certificate. Berg also brings up his college records which have never been produced. That would be a simple process, too. And, where are his friends from college sticking up from him? They interviewed over 400 people and no one remembers him, only one college professor.

because someone is not a great candidate does not in any way mean they will not be a good president.

Bush was a good candidate and he has been a rather lousy president.

Also, Palin is the attack dog. Did you hear her say Obama supports infanticide yeserday? She is gunning for him, which is the smart way to play it. She gets much bigger crowds and more media attention.

McCain is not down in the polss because he is not slitting obama's throat. He is down in the polls because the sample for party ID is outrageous.

Gallup, has dems at 50% for party ID. Never has it been close to that high. They have a 15% advantage for dems over republicans. It is more like 5%.

So do the math. Not to mention there are alot of dems not going to vote. Or they are voting for McCain.

The media is setting the narrative for Obama and everyone is buying it. Wait until after the debate. they are going to unleash a fury on obama.

And obama is having ACORN steal votes. If it was wrapped up why would he be spending a mountain of money and stealing votes and having the media push propaganda like he did against Hillary. Obama is spending more than he is bringing in.

I keep trying to tell you the GOP,McCain, and outside groups are going to spend over 200 million starting after the debate. Obama is spending everything he has right now in an attempt to pad his fake lead. He will have no way to keep up and answer charges like he can now. There will be so many allegations flying at him he will stumble and fall. Obama has had an advantage in money and ads for months. That is what has helped his percpetion and lead.

That all stops after the last debate.

Posted by: ppp at October 12, 2008 12:48 PM (zzms8)

46 Please check out this case at obamacrimes.com. And tell everyone you know. Spread the word about the video. If you are skeptical at first I can understand, but to end this case all Obama has to do is provide the proper documents to the court. That is it, and it's over.

It scares me he will not provide this information. So I am going to every site I can to inform people about this case, since the media has refused to do it for us.

47 From a PUMA and he is not alone:
I had planned on voting McCain and then democrat down ticket. Now not so sure. I may vote a straight republican ticket. No one from the democrat party has exhibited anything akin to leadership since the financial crisis began. A dumbass congress with a dumbass in the Oval Office scares me more than four more years of Bush.

Posted by: kimberly at October 12, 2008 12:51 PM (Rpam5)

48 McCain needs two commercials running immediately. First, narrator starts with "the young first term senator is about to become president in what might be the most difficult of times. Who will he turn to when time get tougher. Cue the music: I'll get by with a little help from my friends. Then start showing Barney Frank saying F&F were just fine, Pelosi saying anything, Chris Dodd, Ayers, Reverand Wright and Pflaeger........

This attacks the two points he is the most vulnerable, experience and associations. More importantly, it shows how his associations are dangerous due to his lack of experience.

Second. Show the Iraqi's blue thumbs and their excitement at voting in their first election. Then cut to ACORN and their attempts at fraud. Simple statement at the bottom of the screen: There is a lot at stake in this election. Please get out and vote. Like the Iraqi's, your future depends on it.

Posted by: locus ceruleus at October 12, 2008 12:51 PM (e2mBS)

49 PPP, so you're predicting a hurry-up offense in the final minutes of the fourth quarter...ok. I'm on board with that. The question is, does Obama have a two-possession or a one-possession lead? If the latter, Mac can win it. If the former, Mac has to score and recover an onside kick, otherwise Obama can just fall on the ball till the clock runs out.

Posted by: Milesdei at October 12, 2008 12:54 PM (ACHxk)

50 I personally hope that every republican, conservative and blue dog democrat goes out and votes for McCain no matter how we feel about him. That way we can all enjoy watching all the exploding heads on the MSM. That alone is enough incentive to make me vote; and I live in Maryland where my vote for McCain means squat

Fantastic suggestions, locus.

Don't waste time arguing with the Obots.  Go for anyone who wavers, but!! not in an angry way.  Use questions.  Be gentle.  Be interested in their replies, and use their words to shift them to Palin and Mac.

And don't forget their earlier loyalty to Hillary!  Repeat how she was backstabbed and insulted and how the primary was stolen from her by the misogynistic press, and link that to the press' behavior with throwing racism charges at Palin and Mac.

that is what is scary about obama altogether. If he is a US citizen and born here he could just release the documents to the court. He won't though.

Releasing the birth cert. would kill the whole argument. Instead he refuses and trys to dismiss. That is fishy. Not to mention it follows a pattern with this guy. He will not release college records, he will not release medical records, donor records. Nothing.
I think he will not release the birth cert because it has damning evidence to it. As a kid everyone called him Barry. Why?

why did his school record have him named Barry? Why does no one remember him from college? I think Obama is a muslim. I think he is part of the NOI. He went to the million man march. I think though they knew he could not be successful as a muslim though so they had him be a part of Rev. Wright's chruch. If you look at Obama's history it is all highly questionable.

His trip to Pakistan in the 80's was at a time when no one from the US was allowed there and non-muslims were not permitted to enter. He says he was poor, who paid for the trip?

Bill Ayers lived right around the corner and attended Columbia at the same time as Obama.

If you read and study his life, it is all unanswered questions.

The Clintons want him to lose. I am betting they have something that will destroy him. You guys have to remember that the media protects Obama.

Any damning evidence on him has to be held until the last couple of weeks. Otherwise it will be like Wright. It hurt him bad. BUT, after a speech the media never cared and they defended him the entire time.

Posted by: ppp at October 12, 2008 01:06 PM (zzms8)

55 Can someone edit that Phil Berg video so that it doesn't start out with a screen showing a link to stophussein.org, or whatever the fuck it was? Posted by: CJ at October 12, 2008 01:07 PM (+MTKV)

Thing is, Obama won't release his records and you know they'll equate it to Sarah Palin not releasing Trig's birth records.

Now you and I both know that Palin not being Trig's mother would not disqualify her from being VP like Obama not being born in the U.S. would disqualify him. Obama not being born here is far more realistic than Palin not being Trig's mom, but they don't care.

Posted by: pajama momma at October 12, 2008 01:12 PM (f3xJa)

57 Ushie,

I think it would be brilliant to start identifying the Obama tactics used against HRC and how they are now using the same playbook against McCain. But first show Obama saying he would be a different kind of politician.

Then show how they implied HRC, Bill and Ferraro were racist. Show how, what the media called Obama's superb ground game, were really taxpayer funded ACORN thugs.

Then say it appears the election was not above board with HRC and we can't afford to have it happen again. Enemy of my enemy is my friend.

49,

He CAN win even with the lead obama has. I qustion the lead he has. The party ID spread is unreal. It seems to me they are figuring that every dem in america will turnout. They also wiegh AA's much more than there really are.

I also do not think Obama will get a huge majority with Hispanics. For obama to win he has to have a turnout that historically NEVER happens. the youth vote and AA vote will be big. But not big enough. Older voters will go to mccain. Older dems will go to mccain.

The hurry up offense will totally catch them by surprise. if you look at the amount of money. that is more than Hillary had in 5 months. More than obama has raised over 3 months.

It will do what obama has been doing, flooding the airwaves with ads. It will be so much that it drowns out obama's ads. obama has spent ALOT of money in the past few weeks. I garauntee this strategy by the republicans works. No more debates and not enough time for the media to falsely debunk the allegations.

the have enough to spend 100 million a week, that is more than obama has spent in the last 2 months. the attention span of the electorate is short. That is why they have held off. After a 2 week assault voters will have nothing but McCain ads stuck in their head.

Posted by: ppp at October 12, 2008 01:15 PM (zzms8)

59 ppp, where are you getting your info that the RNC/McCain-Palin08 have $200M? Is that verifiable? Are they even allowed to spend that much money in the last 30 days and aren't there stupid laws about naming your opponent or some such bullshit that McCain created? I am not clear on these McCain/Feingold laws.

If its true that McCain has a stash of this much money then it explains why he has been playing it down the middle and it explains why Hannity has a smirk on his face every night. Something is definitely off about this entire thing.

And Obama buying those ad buys six days before the election? That shows you everything you need to know. It reeks of desperation.

Posted by: CJ at October 12, 2008 01:18 PM (+MTKV)

60 CJ, I agree on that point. Maybe the stophussein.org should be taken out. But if you check out the site it is actually very good. If you're not undecided.

But once the whole video is finished it has credibility. I don't know if that really matters in the long run. After all, the video is obviously anti-obama. Undecideds will infer that anyway.

The thing people need to understand is that this is a valid and active federal court case. And the media is ignoring it. The judge simply needs to see the documents and it is over. The video gets that point across very well.

hey Ace, why not put Sarah Palin's speech yesterday in PA.  She gave a social con speech. It is very good and total red meat.

This is what i am saying, Palin hammers Obama and Mac plays good guy. That is how these campaigns are run.

Palin draws the crowds and gets more coverage. It only makes sense to have her beating obama to a pulp.

You guys will see. After 3 weeks of constant pounding by Palin and rallying of the base McCain's job is to peel away indy support and soft support.

Obama has a huge pool of soft support that could change their minds. If McCain were to win a large majority of undecided's that is enough for him to take this. In the primary, undecided was code for Hillary. I assume it is now code for McCain.

Posted by: ppp at October 12, 2008 01:26 PM (zzms8)

64 PPP, great point about the weighting in the polls. I have been questioning this for months now. I believe the pollsters are weighting them heavily Dem due to voter registrations for the past two years favoring the Dems.

But as we know, ACORN has been doing some bad things. What will happen when the offensive line for the Dallas Cowboys doesn't show up to vote on Nov. 4th in Nevada.

Plus, there is no way to tell how many Clinton supporters will vote for Obama. The polls cannot accurately gauge this effect.

CJ, the figure of 200 million dollars is on fox they rported McCain and the RNC have 160 million to spend starting after the debate. Which makes alot of sense to me, McCain has not been running much ads at all and most are web ads.

the 200 million is this. the NRA pledged to spend 40 million. They report they have spent under 5 million so far. Then add in outside groups such as right change and american issues project. That will easily cross the 200 million threshold.

I am also betting that 527 groups begin coming out of the woodshed. If you look at the NRA for example. They pledged to spend 40 million and have barely dipped into that fund. So my instincts tell me they in coordination with the mccain campaign are going to join in the assault.

Just between the RNC,McCain, and the NRA there is 200 million. If the outside groups have been put on hold as reported by others. After the debate we will see an onslaught like never before. It is enough money that McCain can run nothing but positive ads while the NRA,RNC,and other 527 groups can destroy obama.

This is why i keep saying to hold on. If you think that they are not going to go out with a bang your crazy.

McCain is running distraction right now.

66 ppp, I don't know why you are not running the McCain campaign!  Or, hey, maybe you are . . .   I do want to say that I've really appreciated all your comments in the past few days, on many threads.

Going back to someone else's comment above, I also find the fact that Obama's college years represent a HUGE void in his narrative.  Not too many people are agitating about this, but I for one would really like some info about this.  After all, he does credit them as his formative years, where he decided not to be a freakin' coke head.  And, for this po' boy from Hawai'i, how in hell did he pay the freight at 3 of the most expensive schools in the world?

67 Whoops, one more thing.  Ace, I second ppp's suggestion that you post up Palin's PA speech from yesterday.  It was very good and I think everyone is hankering for as much red meat as possible.  Man does not live by pie alone!

68 Who paid for his Harvard education? An influential, radical black Muslim with close ties to the Saudi royal family and an outspoken opponent of Israel helped finance Obama's law school education. Obama's benefactor at the young age of 25 is Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour a/k/a Donald Warden.

A little OT, sorry. Listen you all. I have been AFK (last night) and I come back to find chaos! Listen up - I have been watching the talking heads (arrggh!) And listening to Nobama's spokesperson Stephanie Cutter, it was even MORE clear to me that this talk yesterday about whether McCain & Palin are on the same page to fight this thing to last breath, the rumor is only a tactic of the enemy....McCain is and willl fight. Every time we have been ready to give up on McCain, he's come through. The stuff being said about Palin wanting to fight and McCain not -that's just more of the divide and concur tactic, with the extra spicey touch of showing Palin as extreme, too extreme. DON"T FALL FOR IT! My God - we can wait 24 days to have a hissy fit, should we find out our faith was misplaced. (which it isn't)....BUT, we will hate ourselves if we lose and we know we didn't fight like we know how & like our country deserves.

I leave you with this fight song my 15 old introduced me to - it is fitting!

HONOR - By Atreyu

Always teetering on the brink
Nothing can hold you back when
When you're not holding back a thing

Open arms (we) embrace tomorrow
Closed fists, tarnishing today
We're not afraid to open our mouths and scream
We believe in what we say

Like a whisper to the dusk
An oath against the shadows
Denying the dark
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT till the break of dawn
Like a prayer unto the dawn
In arms against the shadows
Destroying the dark
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT till the break of dawn

Covered in sweat and blood
Yet still our heads held high
Actions have consequences
When you live for foolish pride

Been careful not to lose ourselves
Stand together one passion one hate
We believe in a better tomorrow
We believe in what we say

Like a whisper to the dusk
An oath against the shadows
Denying the dark
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT till the break of dawn
Like a prayer unto the dawn
In arms against the shadows
Destroying the dark
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT till the break of dawn

We’ll fight our battles we’ll wage our wars
Settle the scores with honor and blood
We’ll wear our scars like medals of hope

K - I know this may sound angry - don't mean it to. Just lack of sleep & much political angst!

Remember - FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!

72 It's not angry. I just sent over 40 emails to each and every one of the MSM (LAT, NYT, CNN, MSNBC, AP, etc.) to tell them, "Yes, I AM MAD AS HELL!". Why? Because you are not journalists. You have not reported on WHO IS BARAK OBAMA? Where is his birth certificate? Where are his college records? Who financed Obama's education? Why did he go to Pakistan for three weeks? What are his ties to ACORN? I put together a list of over 30 questions that have remained unanswered.

Has anyone given any consideration to the fact that Obama, in this climate of an unpopular sitting president and the economy in free fall, should be 20 or more points ahead and have this election wrapped up??  What does that mean to you?   I know what it means to me.  People don't like Obama, they don't trust him and they don't want to give him their vote.  I think the election is much much closer than the polls show and I also think McCain has a stragedy for the next 3 weeks.

Like Rush said, whether he likes it or not, we're going to have to drag him to victory kicking and screaming and we can do it!

Buck up campers!  This election isn't over!

74 70, I think pretty much everybody is deployed in PA today. Palin's there, Biden's there, both Clintons.  Hey, I just have to have faith that they know something we don't.  Besides the fact that the polls are pure crap, which we DO know.

i wanted to mention as well to Ace. He said yesterday i was a dem. Yes, i am for now. BUT i will be registering republican after Nov.4th.

I just want to be one of the dems who crossover and show the pundits and DNC how dumb they were.

I am a republican at heart. I am pro-life. Pro-growth. and so on.

As a youngster i was less than well off so i thought dems were for the "poor"

It is funny though, as i watched this election i found more and more that what i thought i believed was not what i believed at all.

So, for the rest of this election i will be a dem, but afterwards i am a conservative republican.

That should also be considered when seeing the crazy party ID. i bet that 5-10% are operation chaos and dems voting mccain.

You also have to consider all the poeple that lie to the pollsters.

Obama has peaked to early. After this debate it will be a complete referendum on Obama. Poeple will look at who he is and what he stands for and that alone will scare off a good number of poeple who are voting for him.

The media Wants us to be at each others throats and defeated. Do not give them that pleasure. Alinsky agitation at work.

I will not declare defeat until i see it with my own eyes. Until then i will fight for my country. I really do not believe at all it is over.

Look at ohio for example. The early voting for one week. There were nearly 500,000 college kids that could have voted.

What was the turnout you ask? 5,000. WOW, those youngsters must really be pumped.NO.

79 It's really infuriating that foreign press have more stories questioning BO than the US press. Canada Free Press. The Australian. Unbelievable.

However, all I have to think about, before I have a heart attack, is our press KNOWS ALL about BO. They want him as POTUS so then they can start their attack and their ratings will soar. That is their endgame. Disgusting, vile creatures. Ratings 1st. America Last.

I'm a troll?

Horseshit!

Like Ace, I've spent the last few weeks furiously begging McCain to start FIGHTING BACK.

On each and every issue, the advantage has been McCain's, yet John has blown each and every golden opportunity!

McCain and Republicans fought to reform FannieMae/FreddieMac. Democrats rejected all reforms on a party-line vote. We have it on VIDEOTAPE. We even have BILL CLINTON on videotape agreeing with us on this matter! Does Johnny McMaverick have the guts to call out the MSMOCRATS on this matter? Does McCain have the BALLS to actually NAME NAMES?

HELL NO!

If Johnny kicks the GOP, Johnny gets a cookie! If Johnny kicks the MSMOCRATS, Johnny sleeps on the cold, dark back porch! Johnny wants the cookie! Johnny doesn't have the guts to stand up to the MSM, even if they subvert our nation in WAR, even if they demonize our defenders, even if they lionize our enemies, even if they betray CLASSIFIED ANTI-TERRORISM PROGRAMS crucial to defending our NATION!.... Nope, Johnny can't fight back. He can't even get his opinion printed in the New York Times, but he sure as hell isn't going to take on a poisonous, Treasonous Press!

Obama & Ayers spent ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS teaching Chicago school kids to HATE AMERICA, and Johnny can't understand the value of pointing out this radical link!

In 1980 Ayers' wife, Bernardine Dohrn, refused to cooperate in the investigation of her COP-KILLING TERRORIST COLLEAGUES, but Johnny can't understand the value of pointing out this radical link!

Ayers and Dohrn, to this day, SUPPORT THE VIOLENT OVERTHROW OF OUR GOVERNMENT, AND THE IMPOSITION OF COMMUNIST RULE, yet Johnny can't understand the value of pointing out this radical link!

Did John Lewis just compare McCain to the racist, segregationist Governor George Wallace? Yes, he did. Any chance Johnny McMaverick will point out that Wallace was a Democrat, that Democrats SUPPORTED SLAVERY, that Democrats gave birth to the KU KLUX KLAN? Nope. John won't point out our party's noble history. He won't defend the party founded by ABOLITIONISTS. Johnny wants a cookie.

That's how Sarah Palin gets a colonoscopy from the Media, while Obama's disgusting past is whitewashed completely.

Stop calling me a troll. I'm doing everything in my power to get our party to fight back.

81 People! Anyone here with a HotAir registration? They have closed registration and that swamp of doubt and defeat is depressing. They are a sore on McCain's campaign. Anyone with an account please go there an echo the positive sentiments output by ppp above. Do not let sites like HotAir drown out the positive thinking.

Look at McCain. Look how he had to grit it out through hell in Vietnam. Give him the benefit of the doubt. We will have plenty of time to grouse about him later. But we need to pull this out. Don't make him pull us across the finish line, let's help him get across ourselves.

As ever, Mark Steyn nails it for many of us:

"As for the "old" vs the "new" McCain, I've had little use for either, as NR subscribers who read my cover story on him from eight-and-a-half years ago might dimly recall. I support him faute de mieux*, and that's it. Clearly, he's found it difficult (to put it mildly) to make the transition from running against his party to running for it. There's a lesson there: "Maverick" is an attitude, not a coherent worldview, which is why McCain has been unable to make maverickiness (maverectomy?) into a viable electoral platform.

Amen, bro!

*For morons put off by high-falutin' NROspeak, that means "for lack of anything better".

I've e-mailed the GOP a thousand times, asking McCain to stop running against his own party.

Despite the fact that the GOP supported victory for our troops in Iraq, despite GOP support for the intelligence programs which have kept us safe, despite GOP support for the very reforms which would have prevented our current financial meltdown, John McCain simply can't stop running against his own party.

It's NARCISSISM on a scale to grand to attempt to define.

95 Democratic state Senator Hollis French, the lead investigator in the smear campaign against Governor Palin, promised his party that the results of the Troopergate probe would be an "October surprise" that would "likely be damaging to the administration."

French is one of the 20%'ers in Alaska who do not approve of Governor Sarah Palin.

He also is a staunch Obama supporter.

Hollis French and Monegan are close friends.

On his resume French states that he served in the Marine Corps:

http://senate.legis.state.ak.us/fre.php

However, this does not appear to be accurate.

Hollis "Gunny" French (D)-- is guilty of misrepresenting that he served in the Marine Corps - when in fact his ONLY exposure to the Marine Corp was attending a Marine ROTC PLC - from which he was DISMISSED and granted a "Discharge" as a Private.
--He NEVER attended, much less graduate from either of the USMC Boot Camps.
--He FAILED to pass the ROTC Platoon Leader Course - thus failing to make the grade to become a Marine Officer.
--Hardly service as a Marine, and the folks in Alaska caught up with French's claims....
--Folks in Alaska to this day, still jokingly refer to the jackass poseur as "Gunny French" and he hates the reminder of his lie.

More at Gatewaypundit.

96 From a PUMA:
I have just spent one and one half hours calling on the McCain Phone Bank. I called Ohio. There are many undecided. I have been honest with them about my research on Obama. It is making a difference. They just want to hear someone else confirm the fears that they have about Obama.

If you want to defeat Obama you must get up your courage and start calling NOW! If you just sit and don't call you will be helping Obama win this election. Even if you make ten calls a day you will make a difference.

I don't know how much more I can say. Phone calling is not my favorite activity but I take a deep breath and do it because I am dedicated to the best interests of this country. This is a time of crisis! I tell the people on the phone that I am a Democrat but I am supporting John McCain and I tell them why! I mention Bill Ayres and Pastor Wright. They need to hear this.

If you want to help turn this tide you MUST CALL!

101 Actually, Obama didn't even STEAL the primary.  The press told Hillary to go sit down, they didn't want her.  Remember the day Russert declared it "all over" for Hillary while she was still winning?

She won all the big states.  She should have been the nominee.  I don't even like Hillary and I believe she was screwed by the Dems and the Press who thought they saw a chance to "get rid" of the Clintons.

Instead, they've backed a thug.

Does anyone remember how Obama was starting to lose his mojo and had to go see Clinton in Harlem?  That was a disasterous meeting.  Right after that, the press doubled up its efforts to proclaim Obama "the winner."

I think the Clintons still have some mischief up their sleves.
