| 2007: Obama Says He Will Invite ACORN to "Shape the Agenda" as PresidentComments1
He beat me to it. I just saw this and imagine that YouTube will "vanish" it pretty quickly.
How damning!!! from the description: Obama said ACORN and friends, responsible for voting fraud and the suibprime crisis, are going to be shaping policy for an obama presidency Posted by: Denise at October 11, 2008 08:02 PM (NaKCQ) 2
My friends, it's only a few bad people in ACORN, they are decent people no need to be afraid of them...

Somebody get a cache of this and then send it over to Hannity, O'Reilly and Greta at Fox and Lou Dobbs at CNN. They are the only ones with the balls to pursue this. I'm a computer moron or I'd do it myself. Posted by: c17wife at October 11, 2008 08:11 PM (Hpo1H) 6

The message is clear. Don't bother filing 1040's once O'Bambi is elected, simply send your entire gross to IRS, Ogden, UT and they will dispense what you need. If it's less than what's required, just plant a victory garden to eat, or park your car if your tires are bald. Welcome to the wonderful world of the United Socialist States of Amerika. Don't bitch or they will cut off your nuts.

You know, Johnny Mac, you don't have to take the gloves off. You do, however, need to exercise some footwork and not lead with your jaw. Maybe listen to your ringside coach, Sarah 'cuda' Palin for some jabbing tips.

Does not McGentle realize that when he chides his supporters about being mean to the man who exhorted his followers to "get in the face" of voters, that maybe he's disheartening his own people so that he can curry favor to the news farts like Dana Milbank who only love him when he loses? What a moron. Is he really the best we could do?

How bout this? Pres. Bush goes out on monday, requests a press conference, And declares a National Emergency. He then describes all the BS concerning The bailout, acorn, voter fraud, dems needing investigating, etc. Suspend the elections per an Executive Order, until the courts can can make up their efffed up minds about where this mess ought to go. National Emergency..Are we not there? Or, a National Security Directive. Something. Do Something! Moonbat heads would explode. Do you think the ...o...camp has not thought about this very concept? flashoverride, I continue to grasp to the same hope. But the problem is it could look desperate in the 3rd debate and will the 3rd debate even get the viewership that the 1st debate got Wasn't the viewership low in the 2nd debate? Is McCain counting on the reporting of what takes place on the 3rd debate to penetrate the filter? i.e., he accuses Obama of x,y,z and then it must be printed the next day?
I don't get this strategy. It's just not making sense, but I do still hold hope. Remember, McCain waited until the *last* minute in Florida to kick Romney real hard in the balls with that bullshit accusation that Romney supported a troop withdrawal timetable. Does McCain still have this fight in him? Posted by: CJ at October 11, 2008 09:05 PM (+MTKV) 31
I guess we may very well have two Manchurian candidates in this election. Obama may be one for the far-left, and McCain IS one for the center-left.
The best hope now is the Obama was just using the far-left. If Obama isn't too far left, at least with a Dem in the White House, there will be Republicans to stand up to spending and regulation, so things might not be too bad. I think the "doomed" Republican stuff is a bunch of crap. Giuliani would have beaten Obama soundly. The primary system is so fucked up. The way the primary system is set up, religious freaks made Giuliani and Romney dead on arrival before they got to the big states. What percentage of the vote did the two statist conservatives -- McCain and Huckabee -- get? Almost all of it. And if we don't nominate an free-market conservative, we lose. If we do, we win. It's that fucking simple. I hate to say it, but Andrew Sullivan may be right that the Christianists have taken over the GOP -- THEY gave us McCain. The Christian Right is every bit as much of a problem as the liberal media in getting an adult into the White House. Posted by: Cedric at October 11, 2008 09:05 PM (rM8m0) 32
"The Republican campaign strategy now involves sending their candidates
to areas where everybody is a die-hard McCain supporter already. Then
they yell about Obama until the crowd is so frenzied people start
making threats. The rest of the country is supposed to watch and
conclude that this would be an enjoyable way to spend the next four
years."
I love it. Posted by: President Obama at October 11, 2008 09:06 PM (YrCzB) 33
Ideally, The McCain camp will drop some bread crumbs to the 3rd debate and John will lay it out for Barack and "say it to his face". I think the reason that John hasn't looked at Obama in the debates is because he's letting the tension build.

CJ yeah McNice waited until the last minute to go after Romney, but you forget, Romney is a Republican. McNice has no problem taking off the gloves to smack them down. Have you bothered to follow politics for the last few decades? Every time the Republicans have made the religious right enthusiastic they have won - Reagan 80+84, Bush 88, Bush 00+04. McCain was chosen by crossover Dems,"moderates" and Republican insider types. The Religious Right was split between Romney, Huckabee, and Thompson. Overall this was a very weak field of campaigners the Republicans put forward for President. Posted by: 18-1 at October 11, 2008 09:15 PM (2/riP) 39
McCain is starting to remind me of Bush I in his re-election campaign versus Clinton. He. just. wouldn't. fight. He seemed to think he was above going toe to toe with a shiv- shoving Arkie. A lot of good that did him. Posted by: rdbrewer at October 11, 2008 09:17 PM (CrSOk) 40

I think that's part of it. Part of it was the stop Huckabee movement, and part of it was the fact that McCain was tolerable to the Christian Right. The two candidates that would have acutally fought for our ideas instead of apologizing for our ideas -- Giuliani and Romney -- were DOA. Apologizing for your ideas is no way to win an election. Suspend the elections per an Executive Order, until the courts can can
make up their efffed up minds about where this mess ought to go.
What a horrible idea. If Obama wins the election fairly, Bush is obligated to step down, he should, and he will. However, considering the last eight years every Republican or conservative working in any fashion with the government also has an obligation - to try and sabotage as much of Obama's agenda as possible. memomachine, you are so right it hurts. I remember debating idiot McCain supporters and being told that Romney was unelectable. RedState.com was the worst culprit. They censored everything people said about McCain, they were the biggest dooshes on the conservative side. RedState, are you listening? You suck balls. LOL. Now this theory of McCain building the tension, I dunno. Isn't that playing into the cranky McCain meme? And who the fuck is even watching the 3rd debate? Damn, I'm starting to get negative myself. Couple of things: 1) Explain Mike Huckabee 2) Had Romney been a non-Mormon, he wins 3) Republican insiders hated John McCain because of McCain/Feingold I know we need the RR to win, but why can't they understand that all a president can do for them is to nominate strict constructionists? The RR loved Mike Huckabee no doubt. Which strongly points out that they were not supporting McCain. Yes, Mormonism hurt Romney with some parts of the RR. The fact that he had adopted positions the RR opposed in the 90s hurt him rather more...and not just with the RR. And as for Republican insiders remember the "only McCain can win in this political climate" argument? I certainly do. And as for the RR getting with the program...they did. I don't see much of the RR sitting this election out, even though McCain had specifically antagonized the RR in the past. Posted by: 18-1 at October 11, 2008 09:33 PM (2/riP) 49

By 2010 the country will be a bloody mess, the Obama/Democrat/media line will be "Wow, when we got into office everything was worse than we thought! It took Dubya and the Republicans 8 years to screw the country up this bad, it'll take more than 2 to fix it", and all the dumbasses who don't understand a goddamn thing about economics or politics, who think that the Fannie/Freddie meltdown was caused by Republican politicians, will go along with it and obediently vote out the rest of those Rethug bastards. Actually, I'm rather a bit more concerned about what an Obama administration will do to alter the very fabric of our system. Not only with the radical left control the Congress and the Presidency, but the bureaucracy, the media, the schools, and the unions. And I expect Obama will do his best to restrict political blogs on the internet and talk radio. Oh yes, and the whole point of the article starting this thread, he plans on helping the Democrats move from isolated pockets of voter fraud in the big cities to an organized national system with his Acorn friends. Why do I have the feeling we will see many more elections like the 2004 governor's election in WA state if Obama wins? Posted by: 18-1 at October 11, 2008 09:56 PM (2/riP) 57
Of course Obama will welcome the thoughts of his ACORN Sturmabteilung brothers. It is important to give the uneducated radical thugs their day of recognition, right before Obama launches his National Volunteer Service and has no need of the undesirable inner-city thugs.

Something I realized today:
Vote fraud in the hands of people like Acorn isn't just about defeating Republicans. In local and state primaries, it's also about beating the WRONG kind of Democrats. Acorn has its list of fraudulent voters that it's registered, sends folks in to vote as those people, and stacks the deck against conservative or moderate Democrats in state and local elections. Over time, their whole party has moved leftward, with that as a strong influence on it. Haven't we all wondered what has happened to conservative Dems? They've been moved out of the party by rolls of fake voters in the hands of radical groups like Acorn. Like shadow Superdelegates. Posted by: Stinky Esposito at October 11, 2008 10:27 PM (MMC8r) 69

@SarahW "Even looking back at how we got to this point seems an effort in futility at achieving the present goal, which is somehow reveal Obama for what he is and prevent his Alinskyite ass from restructuring our government and society as he would wish." *shrug* sure. But IMO, and I might be in my own fantasy world here, the reason we here in this kind of spot is because the GOP has done everything possible to reduce, eliminate or dilute conservatism's power in the Republican party. We've had 20+ years of "vote Republican ... and don't worry if it's a liberal because we need a majority!". And conservatives by and large bought it because pundits, like Kathleen Parker and Peggy Noonan et al, also helped push that meme. So here we are. In a situation where a classic conservative *could* win the Presidency but we don't have one in position. Why? No conservatives available because the GOP has seen to it that conservatives don't get party money or support. Because liberal Republicans don't generally hire conservatives on their staffs, which is usually the first step towards public office and the first rung on the ladder. What does the public want? Fiscal conservatism. Pity we only have a handful in the entire fricking GOP. I guess it'll be another 10-20 years of dedicated support before we have a conservative Congress. But that'll never happen because every conservative that -votes- conservative will some asshole Republican shouting fucking "moby" or other stupid-ass shit and whining about how conservatives gotta stop being so fucking ... conservative and vote liberal. Which is a real fucking barnburner. Posted by: memomachine at October 12, 2008 12:29 AM (f4Zt4) 85

"A lifelong Democrat who has held political office and been a committeeman, Philip Berg, has brought suit over the real questions raised by the absence of a valid Obama birth certificate. His narrative of the various questions Obama has refused to answer is devastating. Graphics and sound are well-deployed to avoid tedium as factual data is conveyed in a way that allows viewers to absorb it. When he contrasts Obama's behavior when challenged (use perfectly valid legal technicalities to delay) with John McCain's full disclosure of all documentary evidence under a similar challenge (remember the flap over his birth in the Panama Canal Zone? -- who raised those questions, anyway?), there is no doubt in a viewer's mind that there is something seriously wrong here. We are talking about the Presidency and this guy stonewalls?" Needs to go viral Posted by: regulus at October 12, 2008 02:35 AM (c4hBq) 86
Uppity Woman has some excellent research backing this video up and connecting it to ACORN specifically. This video needs to get out. Voters seem to be caring about the ACORN Obama connection. This video makes him look like the lying piece of crap he is.

When ACORN "shapes", Wall St. melts down. I'm thinking a full blown depression is possible.
