Tough Ad That, Alas, No One Will Run

Their rotations are too full with McCain cancer ads.

Still -- viral attacks are where it's at in 2008.

Via Gateway Pundit, thanks to CJ.

1 As a concerned Christian, lifelong Republican, and founding member of my local John McCain fan club, I'm disgusted with these recent 3rd party attacks on Senator Obama. Just because of that, I'm voting for the Junior Senator from Illinois. You can learn about his positions here. As you can see, he has many issues.

2 Good fucking ad .

Posted by: aubrey at October 01, 2008 04:21 PM (joS+d)

3 Most of his issues are personal, such as his penchant for buggery and his desire to sell kinky lingerie to transsexual nazi eskimos.

4 I wonder if McCain would be a viable candidate if he sat around with David Duke for 20 years.

" I wonder if McCain would be a viable candidate if he sat around with David Duke for 20 years."

He'd be 92 years old, and even I would think his race would be an issue ;-)

6 Yes, Palin is going to be on Hannity either after the commercial break or at the top of the hour. I keep missing the entire announcement.

Allahpundit, of course, has more of her Ms Alaska contest tape up and is using it to humiliate her. What a guy! No wonder no woman in her right mind wants anything to do with him.

Posted by: Booben at October 01, 2008 04:26 PM (EbsDB)

7 "race?"  Damn, I meant "age."  Freudian, no doubt....

10 Gee, Benson, as another concerned evangelical Christian and lifelong Republican, you have really made me stop and think.  I'm going to have to think twice about voting for McCain.

Thanks for helping me reconsider my vote!

News flash:  Diane Sawyer, Paula Zahn, and Oprah all appeared in beauty pageants at one time or another.

Back in the 50's a former Miss America, Bess Myerson, was a regular on TV, and later had jobs with NY mayors John Lindsay and Ed Koch.  For a time she was Koch's beard.

But because Palin poses in a one-piece(!) in a swimsuit contest  she's a low-class skank.

Right.

Posted by: effinayright at October 01, 2008 04:39 PM (fH1BE)

17 I remember Bess Myerson.

For a time she was Koch's beard.

That's an achievement that Wiki missed.

What does it matter what an ad says when Obama is able to find cover for his non-record and corrupt associations in the national media and raise hundreds of millions of dollars from foreigners who want to see our nation weakened?

I never thought I would see our banking sector nationalized and a bunch of open Marxist-Leninists go straight to the top with the blessing of our so-called media.

Ship of Fools.

Yeah Allahpundit is being snarkier than normal. And I don't see why performing a flute solo at a beauty pageant is so disqualifying. I think everyone should do some kind of public performance at least once in their lives.

Posted by: Maetenloch at October 01, 2008 05:07 PM (cqaC+)

23 Oh, for Christ's sake.  Allah's not dissing Palin, he's complimenting her.  Yes he's a wise-ass, but that shouldn't come as a shock.

Good God, you morons are getting worst and Hot Air or Kos.  Heaven forfend there's the slightest deviancy from you increasingly blinkered view of propriety.

(And I'm thinking of ace's drumming out of the conservative movement by some of you retards for supporting the bailout [which I do not BTW])  It's really OK to think for oneself, and not every policy disagreement (over really what amount to different conclusions drawn from the same general philosophy) is a bloodfeud.

Got an idea for an ad that will never run

<picture of O at a podium>

"In 2010, Barack Obama has been running the country for 2 years"

"Will you answer the door at 3am, or just wait for the Truth Squad to break it down?"

39 Wonderful ad.

By God, that's a perfectly fair political ad! What part of it was in the slightest inaccurate? Corrupt media.

Posted by: Christoph at October 01, 2008 06:57 PM (hawOV)

40 I don't care what Allah's views are I just wish he was a little less terrified of MSM opinions.  I'm sorry, he's a smart guy, useful on some things, but he curls up in a ball and mewls like a kitten every time a MSM meme comes down the line.  That's why he went catatonic during the TNR thing, embarassed himself during the Jamil Hussein thing, couldn't bring himself to tell the truth during the Fred Thompson Fire Helmet thing, goofed up Maliki in Basra so badly that mil-bloggers still snicker whenever they think of him, completely embarassed himself with the Sadr is King of Iraq crap and didn't have one reliable thing to say during the whole Edwards love child deal (Remeber the lengthy post concluding that the Enquirer faked the phtographs?).
In that vien, his coverage of Palin has been predicated entirely on that terrible, gnawing, obvious fear of the MSM.  They hate her and fear her.  He's going to belittle her, even whe he has to be nice.
As far as Palin's interviews...sorry monronizer I don't agree.  She hasn't been stellar, but that's becuase she made the huge mistake of pretending that reporters aren't cut-rate, two-faced, lying, interview-editing, pond scum.  She tried to be nice to them.  Treat them like regular people.  Always a mistake that.  She'll learn that lesson quickly enough.   And trust me if Katie Couric had asked a Clinton what freaking newspapers or books he or she reads you and Allah both would have been laughing at her the way evey one used to laugh at Baba Wawa's "what kind of tree would you be?" questions.  And Clinton would have been just as amazed and bewildered at the freaking qustion.  Anyone who pretends to have an ounce of courtesy would have been.  So if you want to defend Allah fine.  But defend him on ground that he deserves defending on.   Like if any one says that he isn't mildly amusing occasionally.
