We had a scandal like that in Kentucky here recently in the last gubernatioral election. Waitresses and store clerks from Appalachia and such were giving the max allowed (something like $2000) donations to the candidates. But a lot of money was raised by these means.

I was writing about this a year ago.  His site, like many of them, allow donations from abroad- presumably for American expats.  But no specific disclosure need be done for donations of $200 or less.  Which means it wouldn't be hard for any rich foreigner to set up a system by which he donates $200 over, and over, and over.  How would it be determined?  If the patron did it right, you'd need a forensic IT guy and hundreds of boots on the ground.  And even then, how can you really know?

So with or without the "new revelation", I'm pretty sure Obama is owned by one or more foreign interests.  How could he be making so much in campaign jack during "the worst economy since the Great Depression" otherwise?
