Reid is not the leader of the Dem Party, and has not been the leader since early June. Reid does what Obama tells him to do.

Did you not watch Biden on 60 Minutes? He's 65 years old, with 36 years in the Senate, and he was falling all over his "boss" 17 years his junior with 4 years into the pension plan, at least 2 of which has been spent almost full time on the campaign trail for the presidency.
