True story:

Stanhope is (or at least was) a friend of a friend.  As a result, I got invited to one of his shows at a club in Hollywood.  Stanhope was so hammered that he was actually drooling onstage, and the bulk of his jokes that night centered around getting his wife (who was sitting at the next table) to have sex with me because I looked like I needed it.  After about 10 minutes of that riff, it didn't seem like he was joking anymore.

Kinda awkward for both of us.

I've been listening to O&A since about '99. Never really found Jim Norton that funny. He occasionally has a funny Ramone call or joke here or there. Most of the time he just talks about trannies, hookers going on him, Monster Rain, and tells pedophile jokes. Cringeworthy yes, funny, not really. Plus he seems to have become more liberal lately, especially with some of his comments about guns.

O&A and several of the guest comedians are really funny though.
