Hadn't seem this before. His sense of humor is..well...inexistent.
He tries to be funny and "cool", but it's all so fake and rehearsed.

Here in Europe he's like a star to all the media. All. I have no idea what they see in him. No idea.

Last night I spoke with a newly-minted US citizen, delightfully female, who brought up Palin (which led to much shouting from nearby lefties about Palin’s general stupid evilness and, happily for me, expressions of fear of Palin).  After the verbal shrieking subsided (the rudeness of people screaming irritated her) she explained why she liked Palin.  Her English is broken (but she has a PhD) but she explained Palin’s appeal stemming from her governing competency and that Palin was one of the people.

She explained the common touch Palin was not of “Blue Blood and White Bone” which is some mangled translation of a foreign saying that describes elites trapped in their own cultural and intellectual bubble.   Obama and the rest were. I am like in heaven as everyone at this party are left or silent about political topics.

She hopes Palin wins.  Since her English is currently poor, that accentuated the intensity of her hope of Palin victory.

Her very lefty and politically active husband was briefly stunned into a jaw-dropping silence until he hurriedly brought up a non-political topic.

Heh.

Palinmaina is like a forest fire driven by howling winds.  The Democrats are facing new fires springing up everywhere and I am beginning to think that they can not stop it from burning their party down.

Happy Morning for me today.

HAH! So true...but hey, German people started that. Something about the super tight pants...

I live in Portugal. We tend to like corrupt and empty politicians. Our current PM is all that plus a nancy boy.

I blame it on his WHITE grandparents, you know the ones the O threw under the bus.   They let his mother run off with a,  oh wait that is racist.

I blame it on the water in Hawaii, it makes you do crack and then later your brain is fried, so you have no fucking clue what you are saying.

There, a good non racist explanation.  Of, wait crack?  Shit I meant cocaine, not crack, only those people use crack.

Shit,  as rosaina rosiana dan would say, Never mind.

18 Gaffe alert, When will the media cover it

Obama says missile shield cannot target Russia: Poland’s Sikorski

“In talks with me, senator Obama made the realisation of our (missile shield) agreement conditional on whether he will be certain that the system is not aimed against Russia,” Radoslaw Sikorski said at a joint press conference in Warsaw with Russian counterpart Sergei Larvov.

People were saying its a gaffe because exactly what is the purpose of a missile not for protection so how is this thing going to work for Poland if Russia gets hostile, wonder if the media going to dig into this and ask Obama to explain, some seems to think he is not up with national security as he should be.

there are certain amounts of bullshit which are mandatory in international relations and pretending to not want to piss off russia is one of them.

I want to see a McCain ad with Sarah Palin narrating a short video tour of the Ft. Greely Ballistic Missile Defense site in Alaska, and telling us:

1. This is here in Alaska to protect America against rogue states like North Korea.

2. The Dems fought it every inch of the way.

3. Obama is on record as committed to shutting it down should he become CiC, because...

4. It doesn't work... followed immediately by the splatter video from the recent satellite shoot-down.

5. How my Johnny's ass taste now, Obama?

Okay, maybe that last point would just have to be implied, along with the racism, of course.

I'll be in my bunk in anticipation.

Just read that on Meet the Press "Brokaw announced that "Jesus Christ was a community organizer. Pontius Pilate was a governor."  and it was used to support Obama's claim of imporantance of community organizers.

So is the MSM now going to push "Obama is Jesus and Palin is Pontius?"

Seriously?   Can they be that clueless?
