| Lib Photographer Gleefully Springs at Chance to Make McCain Appear "Sinister" for Atlantic Cover; Proudly Admits Her BiasThe picture that gay gossip site and antisemitic conspiracy newsletter The Atlantic chose was horrid enough, but check out the noir-heavy shot she had wanted to use. ![]() Comments1

Not to change the subject, but I'm trying to watch some fucking college football, and I'm suddenly struck by the beginning of the NBC commercial for some golf-bullshit called the Ryder Cup. Like I give a fuck. But anyway, it begins with lots of flag waving and U-S-A chanting. I was like, what the fuck is this? on NBC?
Like I said, I'm struck that the only time it's OK for NBC to be proud of your country is when they try to sell some stupid sporting event, like the stupid fucking Olympics. You may now return to your regularly scheduled program. Posted by: dr kill at September 13, 2008 06:43 PM (JWAjn) Posted by: lorien1973 at September 13, 2008 06:44 PM (fE4SP) 6

What a curiously odd picture. I'm sure it's standard procedure for cover portraits, though, so no need to be concerned.
Posted by: I see a thread meme forming at September 13, 2008 06:48 PM (sI5Ho) 10
You know I kind of like that look too. Doesn't make the media any more honest, though. Gosh they way they edit interviews and rely on debunked talking points and stage pictures....you'd think they were running a psy-ops campaign rather than reporting Isn't there something in the journalism hand book about that being wrong? Just wondering. I can't get any media critics to take up the question, you know?

Greenberg isn't just a "committed democrat," she's a fucking moonbat.
Her website is called "The Manipulator" and she does political photos? Fuck that shit. They pulled Sully back and pushed her forward? She's freakin' Sully with a camera. Look at her site, she's crazy in the coconut. The left is losing this election more than the right is winning it, and it's because they're so mad out of their heads with hatred they can't even lie straight anymore. Posted by: Merovign at September 13, 2008 06:48 PM (UXoQt) 12
Please be sure to look at her site where she uses a portion of this picture with a monkey pissing on the top of John's head.
www.manipulator.com Woops. Just looked and she's changed it to one that says "I called my wife a cunt." And I guess she changed it again before then because I don't see it in google cache. Suffice to say, it had his head coming up from the bottom with just eyes showing, and a male monkey with huge balls pissing on the top of McCain's head. I sure with I'd captured that. My husband, a photog, found it on the PDN.com. Posted by: lunacy at September 13, 2008 06:50 PM (UlfXj) 13
Something important is missing from this sentence:
"Meanwhile, it's actually difficult to find an MSM picture in which they haven't managed to shoot him with a halo around his head." In context, it reads as if you're talking about McVain; but you're not, are you? Posted by: Huck Foley at September 13, 2008 06:50 PM (k+lPJ) 14
I think that picture actually looks REALLY cool. Would you show that picture to our enemies or Super Urkel's? You know, the villians in the movies are usually the most popular characters... Posted by: Barbelle at September 13, 2008 06:52 PM (qF8q3) 15
Okay. I went back to her site and got him with ghoulish teeth and blood coming out. Apparently every refresh offers a random image.
Never got back to the monkey piss. Maybe she removed it. Much flack about his immaturity was in the comments at PDNOnline http://www.pdnpulse.com/2008/09/how-jill-greenb.html Posted by: lunacy at September 13, 2008 06:54 PM (UlfXj) 16

Well, any pic with her name on it is now worthless. Media bias is a huge story these days. I think she's just greatly harmed her career.
And of course, no intelligent republican will allow her to photograph them again (with a studio setup, anyway). And I wonder if Obama is dumb enough to let her photograph him? Posted by: Shill at September 13, 2008 06:57 PM (8jYMc) Posted by: capitano at September 13, 2008 07:01 PM (UsyG7) 19

No, no, they have to throw it in your face. Perhaps it is the frustration they get when after all of their work conservatives and Republicans still win elections. It was a popular way to shoot criminal suspects' pictures in 1940s yellow-journalism rags. Posted by: Alex at September 14, 2008 12:49 PM (4odmy) 112
Warden, that is'nt cool, putting her number up.
I think you may have even crossed the Olberman-line there. Please. It's right on her website, which is linked. It's not a home phone number, it's a business number. And if she wants to make her photography business political by turning it into a propaganda outfit, then I've got no problem calling her and saying what I think about it. Warden,
I don't know if her phone number out in public,is fair game. But this is something "they" would do. And it feels creepy. If im wrong.I apologize in advance. With Respect, Tony South Haven,MI Posted by: Tony LaVanway at September 14, 2008 01:50 PM (aHH1C) 115
Creepy is all the photos of the con man, those eyes just dont look evil, what do you see in Obamas eyes?
Posted by: Chris edwards at September 14, 2008 01:56 PM (RR9VH) 116
Tony,
I think you're overreacting. It's a business number. Does it feel creepy when Ace says, "Hey contact The Atlantic and tell them what you think about Andrew Sullivan's Palin bashing."? He did just that recently. Business contact information for reporters/editors..etc also gets posted when someone spots a particularly egregious example of bias. And a lot of us call and email. Creepy? Have you ever called a local business to complain about something? Is that creepy? What if a local art gallery ran a display that you found offensive? Would it be creepy to post the gallery's phone number so people could call and express displeasure? Or are we only supposed to express displeasure with large businesses and corporations? If so what is the cut-off? 10 employees? 50? Look, I'm not advocating violence here. All I did was cut and paste the contact info from her business website. Social and economic pressure are a legitimate way to modify business behavior that you don't agree with. People do it all the time. I'm gonna call and give 'em some shit after the elections. Big deal. Posted by: Warden at September 14, 2008 02:16 PM (KXbGD) 117
Social and economic pressure are a legitimate way to modify business behavior that you don't agree with.
And just to be upfront, this, although true, isn't my intention at all. I just want to give 'em a call after McCain wins and say, "Good morning! How are you all today? Hey, some election, huh? Great day to be an American, doncha think?" That's all. I just want to taunt them. Why? Because I'm an immature asshole. Posted by: Warden at September 14, 2008 02:27 PM (KXbGD) 118
Warden,
No disrespect is meant.I don't want this to turn into a "Thing" Just feels like something They would do. Tony South Haven,MI Posted by: Tony LaVanway at September 14, 2008 02:35 PM (aHH1C) 119

Tony, No big deal. No, it's not a "thing." You said posting the number was lower than Keith Olbermann, so I explained and defended my position. I can hardly argue with what you "feel" so I'll just move on. Posted by: Warden at September 14, 2008 04:01 PM (QoR4a) 121

The author of the article accompanying the photo said: "What I find truly astonishing is the blithe way in which she has tried to hurt this magazine." Even more so than the depiction of John McCain with blood dripping from his mouth, with a monkey crapping on his head?! The quote tells you all you need to know about that guy. Posted by: MDH3 at September 15, 2008 06:28 AM (hHSMt) 124
In regards to this photograph: 1.) This man does not "fist-bump" his wife on national TV. A man only "fist-bumps" a chick in public after she beats him in an arm wrestling match. Obama is a neutered man. His wife is infinitely more menacing than he is. Reminds me a lot of Bill's relationship with Hillary. 2.) This man could actually stare down Vladimir Putin. 3.) This man will hunt down and kill islamo-fascists with extreme prejudice. 4.) This man's VP will hunt down , kill, and then EAT islamo-fascist scum-bags. The caption for this photo should be "I'm John McCain, and I approve of this photo, bitches!"

Badly need your help. A chess genius is a human being who focuses vast, little-understood mental gifts and labors on an ultimately trivial human enterprise. Help me! Could you help me find sites on the: Texas lottery results. I found only this - Texas ratings. There are only a small handful of texas electric companies that practice hiding their fees and charges but they are out there. Galveston tx texas electric companies yellow pages, online yellow pages, and yellowpages from yellowpages. With respect
