I think this would be equivalent to Palin coming out saying "vote for me or you hate my Down Syndrome baby". IMHO

What we're doing in Iraq now, and since about April of 2003, is not a war. It's nation-building. In 2000 one of the candidates for president indicated he though the US military wasn't really very good at nation building. He was right. And he ended up winning that election.

And after winning the war -- "Mission Accomplished" and all that -- he tried to hand off the nation building chore to the UN. Who took one casualty and fled in wet-pantsed fright.

So, after a whole lot of reformation, and under the guidance of a new kind of general, NOW we have a military that IS good at "nation building".

Or I suppose you could call it, "community organizing."

Fine.

Let's hope we don't have to use our military to fight one of them old fashioned things. You know. A war.

Well I do not think saying that I disagree is me saying fuck you to this guy. The only thing I am saying is that service should not be used as a tool.
