She hasn’t spent over half her life in the rarefied air of the US Senate, with all its perks and power. She ran for city council because she was tired of high taxes. She ran for Governor because she was sick and tired of rampant corruption. Her life in politics hasn’t been about her. It’s been about getting something accomplished, then getting back to the stuff that really matters to most of us.
