As Promised: CNN's John Roberts Immediately Frets That Sarah Palin Won't Be Able to Care for Baby Trig if She's Vice President

Gee, I thought that mothers could do it all.

Apparently that rule only applies to Democrats.

Democratic mothers are Wonder Women. Republican mothers are, as we prefer them, best kept barefoot and pregnant and chained to an oven.

John Roberts' concern over poor baby Trig is truly poignant, though. He's obviously all heart.

Let me tell you about John Roberts...

John is originally from Toronto, like myself. I remember as a young child, coming home from school and watching him host the local music video show on CityTV. Wednesdays was Mid-Week Metal Mania, my favourite show, showing Quiet Riot, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Accept, etc. He was nothing like what we see now on CNN. He was actually a likeable guy back then, chatting up real rock stars and not fake ones like now.

Now, he's a friggin douche.

He went by "JR" and wore a Napoleon jacket with epaulets, and the mullet was friggin GIGANTIC. Hockey Hair.

32 I've been seeing that experience issue get raised a lot on other sites. Palin does have more experience when it comes to governance, but little on foreign policy is what they're saying. Apparently working with Canada on an oil pipeline that could benefit both nations isn't experience dealing with foreign policy? But let's not worry about the Canadians for a moment. She's running for Vice President. Yes, she may someday be put in the hot seat, but for now she's going to get to learn about it and help facilitate while McCain handles foreign policy. She'll likely be busy cleaning up the Senate in the meantime, which would be wonderful. Her handling of domestic affairs has been great. This pales in comparison to Obama being president because that means he's dealing with foreign policy from day one, with NO experience. Not even a pipeline in Canada. Sure, Biden'll help him get the ropes, but not nearly fast enough.

I think she's a great choice. She reaches the ring wing base that McCain has been having trouble courting. She seeks out and destroys corruption in government as much as she can. She understands the needs of the environment but also understands the needs of the people and can act accordingly. And she's down-to-earth and responsible. All of us on the right that are upset about her choice(I'm sure there are one or two) should really take a moment to think about all the positives. She'll definitely help bring over that center-left feminist crowd that Hillary had backing her.

And if this splits the battle down ideological lines, then I suppose we'll learn in November if the people of this country are worth giving a damn about or if they really are just mindless sheep that like the MSN telling them what to think and don't happen to have a real pair of balls at all.

All in all, if Obama wins, I'm moving to Alaska. If she can't be my VP, she'll be my governor. McCain/Palin '08!

Watching Sara today with her family behind her was great. Seeing her daughter holding little Trig put tears in my eyes. This sweet little guy that other so called "modern women" would have thrown away - was sound asleep next to his sister. A great picture. And her husband is pretty easy on the eyes!

I had never heard her speak before today but I have a feeling that this gal can handle herself pretty well and look forward to the debate round with Biden. I have this fantasy of Biden with Moose ears on running through the forest and Palin is cooly trailing him, fully loaded, and ready to take deadly aim.
