4 Wait a second. All those talking heads on CNN and MSNBC told me how wonderful Hillary is and what a great speech she gave. The folk on CNN agreed while James Carvile sang Hillary's praises, while he said that Republicans feared Hillary and only Hillary. They let Carville stay pointedly silent about Obama. CNN obediently showed me Hillary's bawling supporter who pointedly repeated that experience does count and that Obama got none. Could it be that Hillary pulled a fast one on the press and used CNN and MSNBC to help her stage a floor coup. Could it be that the press in their rush to help the Democrats unite behind Obama let Hillary slip on to the inside track to stealing the nomination? Could it be that now Obama is simply trying with this desperate manuver to salavage his self respect and may be his nomination? Could it be?

You gotta wonder what they are thinking. Does this do anything but make the situation look more divided and incoherent for the Democrats? Does this make the DNC look anything other than uncertain and scared about the nominee they've ended up choosing?

Better to do the roll call the way they always have. Changing it for this convention is worse than just having a very close roll call. It says all the wrong (or should I say, correct but impolitic to actually advertise) things about the Democratic party.
