| Hillary Clinton Loyalists "Outraged" She Wasn't Considered for, or Consulted on, VP PickMajor Garrett on FoxNews said, flatly, that they are at most peeved about this. What they're really outraged about -- and trying to mau-mau Obama over, using this as pretext and bloody flag -- is help in retiring Hillary's campaign debt. They want Obama's donor mailing list (to solicit donations to retire the debt) and Obama won't budge on that. It's all about the money, Garrett reported (not speculated) flatly. Bill Kristol (who is Jewish like disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff) suggests a novel new means to press their ransom -- try to get Hillary's name placed in nomination for vice president.Comments1
I'm dipping my balls in this campaign season.

Bill's got money. I wonder what the payoff for Escalante/Grand Staircase was. This fall's campaign is going to 11. Posted by: Jones at August 23, 2008 09:24 PM (KOkrW) 3
I still think that Obama's not serious about winning. He's just in it for the money.

It's sad that this bozo has gotten as far as he has but I'm simply amazed that with all the help he gets from the MSM that he's not further ahead. The thought that most Americans haven't fallen completely for Captain Bullshit gives me hope for our country. (I said Hope!) Posted by: clonefan at August 23, 2008 09:33 PM (pVx6f) 8

The Dems are industrial strength stupid. I agree. But I'm hoping that most of them are simply saying they'll vote for this dickhead to appear enlightened and hip and when it comes right down to it they'll stay home or vote for McCain. Unfortunately, that's not necessarily going to be great either but anyone, and I mean anyone, would be better than these tools.

I honestly don't think that the Obamaniacs on Obama's donor mailing list would be too interested in donating to Hillary, anyway.

I don't know guys, the odds are certainly against the Republicans in the congress, but folk aren't likely to give Congress an approval rating of ten percent and vote the status quo, either. Could be a pretty major shake up come November if the Repubs don't step all over themselves.

anyone, would be better than these tools. You should have heard the truckers we were listening to on our C.B. radio when we were stuck in backed up traffic heading into St. Louis. We were hearing 5 or 6 voices bemoaning the traffic situation, and someone mentioned that Obama supporters were handing out free stickers somewhere ...(the back up was caused by road construction). You should have heard the f-bombs fly....,and the "closet Muslim" comments etc. They all despised him. It was very gratifying to hear those guys. I hope Hillary is going to openly try for the nomination and if that fails, she tries to create total chaos. She might see things this way: Hillary'12 will face the same problem as Hillary'08; some clean, articulate newcomer jumps in front of her and the Dems swoon again. Plus, she ain't getting any younger, and that matters more for women than men. It ain't fair, but that's the way it is. Plus, she knows a McCain Administration is likely going to do well enough to either re-elect McCain or elect his VP in 2012.
I think she will see this year was her only chance and she won't get another one. So, she might as well take the Party down with her. Posted by: eman at August 23, 2008 10:08 PM (x2ue6) 28

I wouldn't go that far. If McCain wins it will be by the skin of his teeth. This country has been pretty equally divided ideologically for quite a while. And the chances of him getting a second term historically are not very good. Posted by: grc at August 23, 2008 10:31 PM (YleVG) 30
With the Clinton's the whole Obama thing has been about the money. The Clinton's shelled out what, $12 million of their own cash, and still owe about another $11 million. Hillary! knows The Chosen One is going to tank. She's already planning Hillary! 2012. The part that really grates her is that she and Billy are gonna have to shell out that other $11 million from their own stash. You can't run a campaign if you still have outstanding debts from the last one. Business people are dumb sometimes, but they ain't stupid. The debt gets paid or Hillary!'s next campaign is going to be cash on the barrel head. Oh, and Hil and Bill out there for Obama for the next two months? In your dreams Chosen One!

I think she really saw what a badly built Ark the Obama campaign really is. She knows that Dean is toast after this. The Clintons WILL be in power again after HE (the one) loses. They ( Dean, Kennedys and Soros) have had the Kerry shot and the Obama shot, and they missed and really played some shitty poker with the Michigan and Florida delegates. That and the Caucui (Caucusses?) messes will come back to haunt them. Soros, Kennedys and Dean are toast and the Clintons will be there again. She or a selected canidate will run in '12 and the real party push will be in '16. She will have the power in the party soon. If not 12 seconds after the convention, then Nov 3rd or so. She will start the ground work for the Senante campaigns and select House races and sheperd them along. She needs to keep her seat in NY. So she will be busy I think she has lost her shot at the Presidency but, make no mistake, she has not lost the power... She will be, by default the "adult in the room", at the end of this debacle. Reid will find the locks on the door changed soon..

I'm sorry, I have to hash this EVERY FUCKING TIME there is some mention of the Clintons, and their "insane popularity" as rachel maddow (journalist, MSNBC) put it. Clinton NEVER would have won, EITHER campaigns if it weren't for republican spoilers, that is why Gores bitching and moaning about Naders .5% in florida was a complete farce. The INSANELY popular clinton would have NEVER won, had it not beenfor perot. PEROT! elected Clinton, because he stole a SHITLOAD of votes from 'pubs. To argue otherwise is retarded, you think a Free Market 3rd party candidate stole votes from DEM's? METHINKS NOT!!! 3/4ths of this bullshit paradigm that dem's have created for themself is based on stupidity and lies. Clinton was NEVER "Popular," he was just in the right party at the right time, and that party is made up of stupid delusional fucknuts. "You're right of course, but once things drop to ten percent...and you add the tone deaf reaction to gas prices to boot....I'm not saying it's likely, but it's certainly possible now." Sorry, no, it won't happen. Gerrymandering the House, and using federal money to grease political organizations for House and Senate both, make it nearly impossible to even challenge a sitting congressman. The only practical way to defeat a sitting congresscreature these days is through a primary challenge. 1994 will never happen again, not as long as earmarks and gerrymandering are in place. Posted by: teri at August 24, 2008 09:22 AM (B1fkP) 43
No, it's not a pun. It's a satire of the msm interjecting the fact that Eric Cantor (R-VA) is Jewish in almost every report about him and any republican's association with Abramoff no matter how tenuous and/or innocuous.

Sorta wondering how close we came to Obama selecting Edwards for his veep?
I mean, you look at it: Biden isn't really all that great shakes, but he's more or less Southern, so he supposedly shores up the South and maybe PA for the Dems - other than that? Foreign policy expertise? Nah. Edwards could've brought about the same and he'd have looked better onstage with Obama [which is what its about with him - appearances]. And then you look at the talking points re:Biden: "Working class" guy, "not an insider". Are these the characteristics Obama was looking for? If so, Edwards is the better of the two, myth-wise. And he speaks way better. But then something embarassing happened to Edwards. I'm sure it wasn't connected with Hillary in any way... Posted by: Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight at August 24, 2008 09:37 AM (gIga4) 45

I must be missing some sarcasm nuance here, because nobody, nobody, in the South thinks of Biden as a Southerner. Smarmy, arrogant prick yeah. Southern, not so much. Posted by: Andy at August 24, 2008 10:01 AM (iIvIk) 46
I was just thinking Mason-Dixon. I agree he's not culturally Southern in any real sense except geographically compared to Obama's home State. Nothing more.

The Dem convention in Denver promises to be more fun than playing naked Twister. With Iraq off the table as a unifying theme, all the various interest groups are going to be arguing for their own platforms -- some of which are mutually exclusive.
The Dems allied themselves with the whacko leftist fringe years ago as an antidote to Republican electoral success, but now they're finding these alliances...inconvenient. Senator Hopenchange's relationship with Ayers is a case in point: it made good sense for Obama to cultivate Ayers when Obama was a ladder-climbing pol in Chicago; now, it's a huge embarassment and might be one of the reasons The Messiah loses (if he does indeed lose). Then you've got the assorted grab-bag of fruits and nuts: the Code Pinkos, the MoveOn crowd, the aging "peace at any cost" anti-war zealots, and the various other gay/lesbian/transgender/multi-culti natterers who care only about their own agendas and aren't shy about bloviating in public about them. It should speak volumes that Joe Lieberman -- a true liberal even if he is stout-hearted on American foreign policy -- is speaking at the Republican convention. Both Lieberman and McCain (and Dubya, for that matter) have more in common with the Democrat platforms of pre-1960 than they do with anything that Reagan might have espoused. On almost every issue except national defense, their views are almost doctrinaire Democrat. Particularly in terms of economic policy and government regulatory power.
