"I’m going to be having a big press conference afterward to talk about this," he responded, then referred back to a story the woman told about a mother having to borrow money to get to work.

"This is diverting attention from the first story that you told," Obama said.

Obama thinks that a story about someone's mother borrowing money to get to work is a more serious matter than what kind of company he kept for 20 years.

It was always hilarious/tragic when people went to the videotape and compared Bush's current bullshit with bullshit from a few years ago.  With Obama it would be twice as funny because not only does he lie to the voters, but he will say he is a new kind of politician who would  not do that sort of thing in the same damn speech. Wright is a bad guy? Wow. Can Obama be any more transparent? So are we to assume that Obama is really just stupid and ignorant - and just woke up for the first time today to realize Wright is a lunatic? I thought Harvard grads were supposed to be smart?

1. If he says something you don't agree with, that does not mean he is not lying.

2. If he makes a statement that uttimately turns out to be wrong, that does not mean he lied either.
