I can think of only one army in history that was supposedly squeaky clean and still able to fight it's way out of a paper bag: Cromwell's New Model Army (supposedly Puritan to a man). Even so, I'd bet old Ollie turned a blind eye to the shenanigans of his troops more than once. Newsflash: the job of going out and <gasp> hurting people and breaking things can be fairly dehumanizing. Having a reminder of why we're out there is a big motivator. AAFES porn).  Playboy and Penthouse aren't allowed to be sold and the soldiers also technically aren't authorized to possess copies in the Muslim countries.  From Haji?  You can buy porn like you never even dreamed existed and never wanted to see.  There is no limit to the level of raunchiness that can be bought from the locals.
