I swear I'm getting to the point with the MSM that I just don't believe anything they write. ALL of it is propaganda, and almost always against any view other than left of center. They start from the assumption that the left of center point of view is the mainstream, and everyone who disagrees is labeled an "extremist" or "hardline conservative".

I have big problems with McCain's record and am not terribly motivated to bother voting for him.

McCain's got a temper? Big fucking deal. He's got a spine, too, which is more than can be said for the other two pandering pod people running. That's something I still admire about President Bush; he obviously doesn't give a fuck about the feelings and opinions and third world butchers and Euro-twat intellectuals (the latter I have even less respect for than the former).

And if temper is such a pressing issue, what about Hillary's legendary volcanic one? There are too many stories from Clinton WH employees that she routinely acted like Joan Crawford on hormone replacement for there not to be a kernel of truth to it.

We don't pay state legislators shit. Those that serve are either retired state employees, aka teachers, or folks that think $20 K is big money.  OK some bored rich guys do it do, that would be me. I was continually amazed at how fucking stupid most of these people, who are writing our tax code, etc., were. 

Let's be honest, the fucking republicans passed the 19th amendment, been downhill every since.

I know that these MSM stories about McCain are supposed to discredit him, and I'm not terribly fond of McCain, but hearing that he has an easily-provoked temper makes me more likely to vote for him.

Yes, that's true for me as well as long as McCain is equal opportunity with his temper. In the past he's saved his public ire for fellow republicans, which suggests that that's either where his anger really is or that he just directs his outbursts at those that he can get away with without any repercussions. Neither option paints a particularly great picture of him.

Where do you get the idea that its true? I've seen no evidence of him ever being angry at anyone in the Democratic Party or the left, and plenty on the right. The man has a temper, and he reserves it for those who dare betray or disagree with him. The sources might be truthers, but I didn't see anything in that article that seemed implausible, based on what we know of Senator McCain.
