Obama To Rural Pennsylvanians: Vote For Me, You Corncob-Smokin', Banjo-Strokin' Chicken-Chokin' Cousin-Pokin' Inbred Hillbilly Racist Morons

Bumped. And flaming-skulled.

Well, it is what he said, more or less.

Actually he said this at a San Fransisco fundraiser (of course), but I can't wait 'till Pennsylvanians hear about this. Obama on the "resentments" of small-town Pennsylvanians:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Nevermind all that stalking and sodomizing of city-slickers from Atlanta.

This isn't Obama "misspeaking," either. Remember, in that speech on race -- the greatest speech since Abraham Lincoln -- he first seemed to allow that white Americans had legitimate complaints about affirmative action and black crime rates, but then claimed those frustrations were actually misdirected anger about corporations.

This is pure leftist cant -- it's all "false consciousness" stuff, all what our Corporate Masters want us to think, playing us all against each other as they line their pockets with our sweat and tears.

Guns, border security, even religion itself aren't really legitimate points of interest. Instead they're all part of the "culture of fear" indoctrinated into us by the corporate emperors really running this country.

Thanks to Larwyn.

USADawg:

This is how Barry and his core supporters really think. Anyone who doesn't live in an urban center without 2 Starbucks per block is an ill-read hick and anyone who believes in God or the 2nd Amendment is an angry, frustrated potential abortion clinic bomber. The degree of condescending pretentiousness here is staggering.

Audio! Dude! Maybe if you tell them they're stupid and they smell like weasels on the rut you'll pick up 5% in Pennsylvania!

More! How bad is this gaffe? Well, even Hillary Clinton hacks are calling it condescending, and liberal spinner Kirsten Powers admits that there are some things that liberals say to each other when "among friends" that just don't play so well in Wilkes-Barre or Beaverton.

Which is interesting:

What other sorts of things do you liberals say to each other behind closed doors, Ms. Powers?

Why it's almost as if you have one way of speaking among the progressive elite and another language entirely for the rubes you'd presume to govern.

And which manner of speaking represents your real beliefs and expresses your real agenda? It's a mystery we'll never quite be able to puzzle out, I'm sure.

(See later updates for this stuff.)

Allah writes:

If you missed the Standard’s post a few weeks ago on the various complaints about “distractions” that creep into Obama’s rhetoric, read it now. This is of a piece with it. Everything in the Obama universe, including gun rights evidently, that doesn’t fit his agenda is a byproduct of external forces conspiring to manipulate the masses to keep his agenda at bay. Exit question: How does Hillary leverage this? Does she dare get the video and stick it in an ad?

Good point. I saw this for the warmed over "false consciousness" hard, hard leftist cant it was, but I didn't think to connect it up with Obama's endless talk of "distractions" -- distractions (such as religion!!!) which keep us from seeing the True Oppressors and Real Enemies.

This shit you and me talk about every day? Terrorism, border security, abortion, God, guns, etc.? All distractions from the real issues, which Obama never gets quite 'round to detailing for us but you can probably guess it doesn't involve a capital gains tax reduction.

Empower the people, baby. Rise up against the corrupt white power system. And if you have to "bamboozle" and "hoodwink" a few of 'em to get there, no big shakes.

As a great man once said, you can't make an ommlette without breaking a few eggs.

Obama's Political Education: Here is exclusive archival footage of Obama being groomed for his candidacy by ace campaign manager David Axelrod:

Update: Allah tells me I'm being unfair to KP. I guess because it's an honest admission of how liberals talk to each other in private, so not something she should be attacked for. She's not saying she does it, necessarily. She's just telling us the way it is.

But while I take his point, I still am hellacurious as to what other things liberals might say that sound "totally normal" to them but doesn't play outside of Upper West Side dinner parties and Georgetown fundraisers and San Fransisco salons.

Give her points for honesty, yes, but a few demerits for not expanding on precisely what other sorts of very-derogatory stuff they might say about the hicks in the sticks, or what other Marxist cant they might find themselves easily slipping into when they're not careful.

Why are they allowed to keep their secret liberal code secret?

Oh, and Obama responds. Lifted from Allah, go there if you want the link to the source:

“Senator Obama has said many times in this campaign that Americans are understandably upset with their leaders in Washington for saying anything to win elections while failing to stand up to the special interests and fight for an economic agenda that will bring jobs and opportunity back to struggling communities. And if John McCain wants a debate about who’s out of touch with the American people, we can start by talking about the tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans that he once said offended his conscience but now wants to make permanent,”

I think he just called all this a distraction from the need to repeal the Bush tax cuts.

How do you folks read it?

Connecting It Up To Yet Another Slip of the Tongue: WS:

it isn't a gaffe, just a revealing slip of the tongue. Orthodox, secular liberals like Obama tend to explain religious fervor as a symptom of fear and bitterness. Likewise the irrational racism, xenophobia, and attachment to firearms of the "typical white person."

You all cling to God and guns because you live in shitholes and you have nothing goin' on for yourselves economically.

This is one degree away from saying "Religion is the opiate of the masses."

Heh: Spamhead writes:

Of course Obama is wrong. Rural Pennsylvanians loved their guns, hated foreigners and minorities and used religion as a front for their hatred loooong before the mills closed.

Yeah, right?

I don't get this whole "society/economic alienation causes hatred of the other" type shit. I've hate "The Other" the moment my postnatal brain became aware that there was such a thing as "The Other."

I'm proud to say that no one needed to teach me how to hate.

Correction: Okay, okay... I changed King of Prussia to Wilkes-Barre.

There is so much to like about this statement.  It sounds like he would like to force those hayseeds to give up their religion and give up their guns.

Also, the hatred about whites and jooooos? Well I heard enough of that from his Rev.Dr.PastorWright to last me a lifetime.

Finally, isn't this hypocrite against NAFTA and the Colombian Free Trade Agreement.

6 And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.  And then you have self-righteous assholes like me and my wife come in and condescendingly pander to those people and talk about what a great guy I am and, in the process, offer no concrete solutions to the problems those people face but just keep on making vague promises resting on "hope"and "change"while supporting policies that promise more illegal immigrants in their community and giving them double-faced talk about NAFTA.   Meanwhile my wife, who makes a solid six-digit salary banters on about how hard it is to afford piano lessons for the kids and how America is a country she's only recently taken some pride in.  Sucks to be them.

Ok, some of that I just made up.

7 The same old shit from the guy who promises Change.

If you're against illegal immigration, homo-marriage, unConstitutional gun control, you're an ignorant racist tool of the evil corporations.

This Obama is following in the same path as Howard Dean in 2004. Hillary can swoop in and steal this nomination, I think. And steal it, she will, one way or another.

Reading the Politico comments is funny- either the Obamessiah's worshipers say he's right, or that it was taken out of context- or both.  Oh, and the author Ben who made very little comment is anti-Obama for quoting him.

Because you know, if only there were more jobs in small towns they'd turn in their guns, become athiests, welcome illegal immigrants with open arms, ignore the international trade debates... and stop being a bunch of racists.  Therefore Obama was right, but to quote him on it is blasphemy.

Posted by: Hollowpoint at April 11, 2008 05:47 PM (rf03a)

As for the small town people who cling to are pro-gun, pro- religion, anti-immigration and anti-trade, well, I live in a big city and pretty much agree with all of their sentiments. So there!

Which is why I still kinda hope he wins the Dem primary. First, it removes the Clintons (finally) and gives their political machine the black eye it so roundly deserves. Second, it advances the most Leftist option possible with the added bonus of his laundry list of inadequately vetted, offensive content to be paraded later. The only downside to all of this is that McCain might actually win.

70 Maybe this is what he really meant:

You go into these urban areas of  Pennsylvania and, like a lot of inner city hellholes in the Midwest, decent jobs are hard to find, mostly because they require a minimum level of education.  Unfortunately, most of the inhabitants are barely qualified to make change at McDonalds.  Studies show that lack of a high school diploma and teen pregnancy are surefire guarantees of prolonged poverty;  but in spite of Democrat controll  of most cities and public school administrations, nothing has improved for 25 years ...And they voted for local and state Democrats through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive Democrat administration has said that somehow these inner cities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to pipedreams of reparations or racial paranoia or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Who pays income taxes any more, sucker?  We've clipped about 40% of the adult population from the rolls, leaving the rest of us to haul their lazy useless asses from subsidized port to subidized port.  And they're still bitching about some mythical "tax cuts for the rich" because, uh, um, der, apparently they "deserve" a larger "earned" income tax credit.

You think they're talking to you when they brag about how much more money they're going to steal (or couch the "stealing" bit in laughably transparent euphemisms that only fool, well, your typical American voter)?  Guess again.  They're talking over you, to the self-entitled dregs that make up one of their core constituencies.  And their numbers are growing faster than ours.

The way I see it is that every time Obama opens his mouth, he will risk taking his own campaign down.  Every word betrays his carefully crafted utopian idealistic image.  He no longer can speak to a hyped up dream of "hope in the savior" with him as the savior.  Reality is starting to invade his campaign.

To which I say - more reality!

So, keep him yakking - keep pressing for reality. Insist on specifics of his plans rather than his glittering generality goo, point out his wacko relationships, challenge him in any way that forces him to open his mouth, then watch him self-destruct as the real Obama and real unstated agenda  is revealed.

138 Ace, you don't have to be curious about what liberals say in private to each other, because you've heard it all before. One of the biggest problems with liberals, and the reason why I personally dislike them so much, is because they're so arrogant they think everyone in the room must agree with them and therefore they make no attempt to suppress their offensively stupid talking points.

I will offer five typical liberal memes that everyone in this forum has heard:

1. Americans only join the military because they don't have any other professional opportunities stateside;
2. Bush invaded Iraq at the behest of Israel and the "Neocons" (i.e., Jews);
3. The Israeli security fence was built to forcibly dispossess Palestinians of their land;
4. Terrorists attacked the US on 9/11 because America has allied itself with the terrorist state of Israel; and
4. Why shouldn't Iran get the Bomb? We've got one.

Anyone else can add to the list if they want. I recommend it. It's kind of cathartic.

Sure, there are plenty of accusations from liberals that the pro-life position is *really* about controlling women, or opposition to universal health care is *really* about mean-spiritedness, etc. Just read Amanda Marcotte's site for a catalog of the real reasons why a conservative takes the positions he does. But this is just paranoid musings on their part.

Has a conservative ever confirmed the liberals' suspicions in a way that KP has confirmed our suspicions? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "that whole anti-illegal immigration thing? yea, it's really about racism." Is message control really that much better on the Right?

Okay... your headline is the funniest thing I've read in the entire primary season.  Forget all the hours of MSM dissecting his inane comments -- one need only read your headline to get to the heart of the problem.  Obama's been caught, once again, tailoring his comments to his audience (that time was a uber-tony Marin County fundraiser), and no one has called him on it (well, we've all called him on it but the media ignored it.)  He has made a habit of trashing one group, while pandering to another.  He's like that friend from high school that is always talking smack about your other friends when they leave the table, until you wonder what he says about you when you get up to get another milk.   Yeah, like that.

155 Obama made his comments from deep within the bowels of the nicest mansion on the wealthiest city block in the worldSee here.  If Marie Antoinette were alive, the Getty mansion is one of the few places in the whole US where she might feel comfortable.  It looks like a giant cake.  I think obama may have been channeling her.

156 From ZardozZ News and Satire...

"Why poor voters in rural America still cling to the Democrat party when it’s clear there interests lie helping inner city poor is astounding. So exactly what did come out of Barack H. Obama’s gilded mouth this week? Could it have been a Freudian Rev. Wright subliminal slip?? Why the remark about gun ownership as though owning a gun somehow makes one less intelligent or under-privileged or just not in the mainstream? What has “holding on to guns” have to do with being poor? Sounds like that old “red neck” racist stereotype to me rearing its ugly head! "

Do you aspire to join the wealthy elite so you too can hob nob on billionaires' row? Here's an idea, put "Vote For Obama, You Corncob-Smokin', Banjo-Strokin' Chicken-Chokin', Cousin-Pokin' Inbred Hillbilly Racist Morons" on a t-shirt. You'll make millions. I'll take a dozen.

You're a genius!

Can I ask a question? Are people in small towns in PA really still sitting around moaning about the steel mills closing down? Or is this like Michelle Obama going to colleges and assuming things are exactly the same as when she was in college?

Posted by: MamaAJ at April 11, 2008 08:29 PM (X6Zdh)

No, those people either have died, found other jobs or moved. My Dad worked in a steel mill for 25 years. When it finally closed, he was relieved. The place was killing him. Steel mills are (were) dangerous, dirty, crappy places to work. There seems to be this romantic illusion about steel mills. They were NOT good places to work. I know my Dad doesn't miss it at all.

A coupla things:

Post# 136, The "Alabama section" to which that post was most likely referring to James Carvilles infamous quote about Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania is Philadelphia on one side, Pittsburgh on the other with Alabama in between. It's also occasionally referred to as "Pennsyltucky". Yes, they're honest to god rednecks, being at the extreme north end of the Appalachian settlement of the Scots Irish in America. (They also settled in an isolated area of New Hampshire). You may notice that all of the states through which they settled form the backbone of the modern conservative movement. This isn't a coincidence, as the Scots-Irish had/have an almost viseceral hatred for Authority. They really, REALLY don't like being told what to do.

Ace: Replacing KofP with Wilkesbarre is really more of a lateral move -WB has a population of almost 50K, and along with it's neighbor Scranton, form an isolated island of Democrat Blue, in a sea of Republican Red. Not surprisingly, the WB/Scranton area is about the largest Metropolitan area in Northeast PA(and serves as the backdrop for The Office), Perhaps switching the reference to Honesdale, Wayne County's seat of government, with a population of 5K?

And oh, KofP mall is indeed High end - They've even got valet parking, and lemme tell ya, the whole place reeks of money, but here's an interesting factoid: KofP also has one of the biggest gunshows in the state: the Valley Forge show, at Valley Forge convention center in KofP.

Entropy @ 8: “How sure are we all these assholes aren't really closet Scientologists?’

You can never be 100% sure on such things. That’s why VP Cheney came up with the “1% Solution” as journalist/author Ron Suskind labeled it, under which if there’s even a 1% chance of some entity attacking America, then the executive branch is not just entitled but has a mandate to  take it out preemptively. So the question reduces to which group to take out “just in case”: Scientologists or Democrats? I suspect some here might wish to suggest “Democrats”, but the nagging reality is that the only evidence of Scientologists gaining access to the White House & preferred status with any American administration is Scooter Libby’s hosting of a meeting in 2003 with Tom Cruise & spouse, on the subject of Cruise’s wishing the Bush administration to go public with a policy statement in support of promoting the spread of Scientology generally & in Germany in particular [Tragically for the movement, at the time of the meeting Libby was suffering from a rare case of Asian bear STD which apparently led him to imagine he was being instructed to out a covert CIA agent.]. That would suggest a wiser course would be a pre-emptive strike on Republicans, but this being an election year such a course seems less likely.

TMF @ 9: “Please, please let him get the nomination.”

I just happened to intercept a text message from your fairy godmother, and guess what? Your wish is going to be granted.

Hugh Hewitt @ 22: “this benefits Mitt Romney like nobody's motherfucking business”

I expect he’d agree but not in the precisely the same language; although I suspect he’d be far morely likely to put his money on Senator McFeeble’s age.

V the Kat @ 32: “Do you really think McCain sees the yokels much differently?”

Sssshhhh….

Rob Roy @ 35: “He stole that shit from Gen. Petreus and is using it against the AMERICAN PEOPLE.”

Apparently the Surge is working. [And its “Petraeus”, as in delay-us, not Petreus, as in seduce.]

Ntac @ 40: “I'm going to enjoy wathing this a-hole get crushed in November.”

You plan to wait til November for enjoyment? Wath [sic] out you don’t mith out on all that.

AnonymousDrivel @ 45: “The only downside to all of this is that McCain might actually win.”

I have some good news...

Stace @ 48: “I do know for a fact that Bush sees "the yokels" differently, based on what people who know him have told me.”

Hearsay doesn’t entitle anyone to “know for a fact” anything, but since he clearly sees them as IED fodder I can’t argue there isn’t any evidence that supports your source.

mpur @ 52: “I think Obamanator can kiss PA goodbye”.

Well now, based on polls taken in PA 3 days after the reports came out on his remarks in SF, it appears that either electricity hasn’t reached rural Pennsylvannia, or Obama is mpurvious.

V the K @ 60: You left out “none of the above”. Over the course of at least 3 public appearances since, he has consistently apologized for his “poor”, “clumsy” & “badly put” wording, but is sticking to his gums that he meant what he said, only not that way. [I haven’t lost it; he did. Apparently the guy’s as human & fallible as he admits to being.}

Urthshu @ 63: “Betting on Hillary to drop something nasty.”

Like her candidacy? To paraphrase James Coburn in The Magnificent Seven: You lose.

NG @ 72: “The Huffington Post has the full audio. Listen for yourself to see if it was really taken out of context like the Obama supporters are saying.”

Actually, they are not saying any such thing.

The Sidewalk @ 77: “Oh, and Dog Doo is an ignorant, pedantic goof.  I've had tumors removed that were more astute.”

Too droll - but as you seem to be one of those ‘misunderstood’ types, I’ll just piss on you.

The Commissar @ 85: “Bart, The source of all problems is a lack of socialism. It has been proven mathematically.”

Commi, I have a feeling Bart’s problems run a bit deeper than political philosophy could explain.

Cuffy Meigs: “That Blazing Saddles clip is PRICELESS, Ace.”

Indeed – although it may be worth noting the black fellah played the best educated, most sophisticated, most diplomatic, most resourceful, shrewdest & smartest character in the movie [as born out in the hostage taking scene], was made the highest ranking law officer in the jurisdiction, and besides being the snappiest dresser, he possessed a gift so special, the saloon songstress from Saxony played by Madeline Kahn, after asking: “Is it twue what dey all say about you people?” later exclaimed this from the dark: “It’s twue! It’s twue!” – which for the benefit of the culturally depraved who missed this second ranked masterpiece of Mel Brooks’ directorial career, is apolitical equivalent of Oprah’s “He’s the one.”

TMF @ 119: “Guilty whites and dumb blacks. Quite the constituency”

Well, at least none of them guilty & blacks post here.

Mr. frakypants @ 127: “Now Philly, that reeking hole of a 'burg (and I lived there for, oh, four years or so), who knows? They're fracking insane down there.”

It’s all too rare that one sees a point so effectively illustrated. Also, I can accept fraky or fracky, but not both in one comment. You might consider an adult extension night course in rude-sounding proxy cuss words spelling.

Beth @ 134: “I hope Jackie and Dunlap take on this one”

You do realize Jackie & Dunlap are mocking y’all from the same world view as Colbert…right?

My, but I do love listening to them two good ol’ boys. Almost makes you feel Fred Thompson should of known if he’d hung in a bit longer Jackie would have got him a sainthood or something.

ajmalkov @ 138: That’s word for word from the “Official Liberal Memes” codebook, but if you paid anything for it you were ripped off, since it’s been replaced. The new one is called the “Official Progressive Memes” codebook, and includes replacement entries including:

Americans who join the military look forward to being blown up in Iraq, committing suicide after two rotations there, and those that come back alive get warehoused or abandoned by the Bush administration.Bush invaded Iraq out of vanity & hubris, but mostly because he’s such an ignoramus he didn’t know the Brits set up Iraq as ungovernable by other than genocidal tyrants.

[Thousands of American Middle East experts & analysts, including for example William Polk who has advised US administrations all the way back to Eisenhower, & millions to hundreds of millions of non-xenophobic rational thinkers, like Obama for example – hell I could have told you – knew all about the 1200 year old unresolved bad blood between the Shia & Sunni sects, and the entirely separatist ambitions of the northern Kurds. There was no mystery or secret in those dynamics.

But there was this one Republican senator with the brain of a small pea who in the early 1990s fell right off the turnip truck into the bullshit being peddled around Washington by an Iraqi con artist named Chalabi who introduced his new best buddy to Scaife & his band of merry Koolaid drinkers at the American Heritage Institute, figuring it was his ticket to the White House, which maybe it could have been but for the fact that someone even more ignorant & gullible than him his the nomination & best buddy away from him – maybe you’ve heard of the moron: fellah named McCain.]

The Israeli security fence was built to foist Israel’s Palestinian refugee problem on to Egypt.

Terrorists attacked the US on 9/11 because the leaders of al Qaeda wanted to provoke the US into attacking Islam, ideally in Saudi Arabia & Egypt, where the leaders & all the members of the 9/11 suicide teams were from, & Afghanistan, where bin Laden believed his muhajadeen could take down the US the way they took down Russia, from which attacked he expected to be able to bring all the world’s Muslims to kick the US out of the Middle East & deprive it of the oil needed to return, & leave Sunni Salafist Arabs to set up their very own version of the Ottoman Empire.

Things didn’t worked out quite to plan, but then they couldn’t have guessed how dumb the Bush administration would turn out to be, & now they figure with the American imperial army destroying itself in Iraq & the American economy falling apart, things worked out pretty well for them.

Why should we believe Iran is pursuing the Bomb? Even the Bush administration’s own intelligence community doesn’t.

There’s more, actually a lot more - but then we’re so arrogant we don’t expect you’d agree with any of the few parts you might understood. As you suggest: anyone is free to add to the list - but I’d be wary of adding points that betray precisely how irretrievably ignorant a dipshit you in fact are ....

Beth @ 141: … of which these two are particularly fortuitous examples…

Sam @ 142: …whereas in contrast this one is quite apt:

“If this guy gets in, America is done. Turn out the lights, finished. And you know what? We will deserve our fate.”

You know, Sam, you really ought to consider voting Democrat, because this is word-for-word the mantra the most liberal progressive Democrats to be found lurking at the Daily Kos drone on about in post-after-post, and certainly no less now since President Bush admitted on Friday that he ordered all the war crimes.

Now, someone like Beth might say: Hey Dogshit-for-brains, Sam means Obama. And you wanna know my reply? Sam could not possibly be that stupid.

Beth @ 144: “The fucking assholes who vote for him will deserve it.  Not me”

Big labor force deficit in Canada, Beth.

M. Simon @ 147: “This was recored at the bundlers meeting on billionaire's row in SF. Obama had at least one traitor among the bunch. Who could it be?”

You might have to take a seasickness pill first, but if you really want to know, the answer is over at Huffington Post. According to that, the lady in question has voted both Republican & Democrat depending on her view of the merits of the candidate, has already hit the max in her contributions to the Obama Campaign, had full access to his essentially open-access campaign, felt what Obama said in SF was “off” & wanted others to know, has neither be blamed by nor banned from Obama events, and despite all that hostility, still plans to vote Obama, and donate to the Obama Campaign to the max in the election phase.

It seems she felt Obama would like to know how she felt, & apparently she was right.

By the way, you missed a “d” in “recorded”. No criticism intended; I make more than enough of those sorts of errors myself.

Conservative247 @ 150: “Liberals are not happy when people take responsibility for themselves - concealed carry, or have faith in other institutions - religion. They are populists that want the people to be completely dependent on the government!”

Well, that could well be true of some Liberals, even many Liberals, & in my opinion is far from the mark with Clinton Liberals. But the thing is, if you watch the clips on Obama taking questions from members of his audience, you’ll get to see that he’s continually warning them not to expect him to deliver pie in the sky & a chicken in every pot & make ‘everything’ a priority, because as he keeps saying you can’t expect to finish anything if you start everything.

And that from the candidate reputed to have the “single most liberal voting record” in the Senate. So I’m thinking either the folks who put together the ranking have their heads up their asses, or you, Con247, are clinging desperately to a stereotype, and an outdated one to boot.

Hey Con: Do you see the humor in your having posted the kind of broad, sweeping stereotype you posted in your comment to a post that’s about holding Obama’s feet to the fire for responding to questions by using broad, sweeping stereotypes? Do you? It’s called “irony”; look it up.

Assetmgmt @ 152: “Has a conservative ever confirmed the liberals' suspicions in a way that KP has confirmed our suspicions? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "that whole anti-illegal immigration thing? yea, it's really about racism." Is message control really that much better on the Right?”

Ooo, let me answer: Yes; & think harder because its hard to believe any adult who can both read & write missed all of them; & clearly you just don’t get it.

You don’t think just the thread to this post doesn’t confirm the worst “suspicions” of every liberal back to Adlai Stevenson? Only when they are stated as baldly as they are on the top Spade’s website, I think it’s fair to say we’ve traveled a good distance past “suspicions”.

Liberal & progressive Democrats don’t believe exercising in “message control”, so if you think that the fact that reactionaries such as yourself are doing “much better” in the regard, well, think again because no one on the other side is trying.

HTRN @ 159: John Stewart pointed out some of the same things on The Daily Show, as did Chris Mathews, who calls himself a “native Pennsylvanian”, but in my opinion neither of them put it as clearly & convincingly as in your post.

Your excellent summary also stands as an invitation to explain why Ace missed his place on this post, as have so many of his blind followers, and why the media frenzy is so comically off target. The simple fact is that Obama said what he said in response to a question from one of the attendees from San Francisco’s Billionaires Row who was blithely unfamiliar with why Obama was telling them he has never counted on being able to close the gap in Pennsylvania completely & they were off their gold-inlaid rockers if they expected him to. As you HTRN have put far less clumsily & way more clearly than Obama, the candidate is only too familiar with the realities of Pennsyltucky as described by Carville & many others, and that his supporters there are basically 3 pullets & a duck, & he wasn’t altogether sure about the duck’s loyalties.

All of Obama’s support in the state comes from Pittsburgh & Philly & a few lesser urban centers, and I can assure, none of those folks have anything critical at all to say about Obama’s choice of words in describing the backwoods of their state. If anything, they’ll be inclined to appreciate that he took the trouble to find out the “truth” to which they themselves have subscribed for decades.

You want a bigger laugh? The folks in that redneck of backwoods America might be so stunned to have their forgotten corner of the land even recognized as still in the Union, this kerfuffle may actually INCREASE his overall total vote statewide.

Finally, on a personal note, I've been out of town the last few days happily engaged in chasing small white balls all over the Oregon coastline, and haven't resorted to the HomeLand desktop until today - & I note that a certain extremely tall young relation of mine appears to have taken advantage of my absence to conduct a little experiment on your community, in the guise of his favorite cereal. I apologize for that & hope y'all accept that since I've not shown any reticence about wearing my bleeding heart on my sleeve, I was "not myself" in any of those posts, in any sense of the phrase. Dogs don't give a shit what you wear or what you say, as long as you take them out for a walk or a ride, & I know quite a few here have been trying to take me for the latter.

The key to lose belly fat is actually quite simple. Therefore, these two key points, first of all to take action to belly fat exercises, second, have belly fat diet every day. Do these, you will lose belly fat! As a child, you can find kids jobs to get money. If not, maybe you are considering how to make children work in additional funds. jobs for 15 year olds are so many. However, we know that you will not find real jobs for kids for you; you just need a working pocket money. Finding jobs for 16 year olds is not a difficult task. To make money online, first you need to make necessary preparations. In any field or industry you need in all walks of life through appropriate channels to meet their own, in order to succeed. Can you imagine how to starting your own business? It would be a good way to Make Money on the Internet and move forward at full speed is going to just be disastrous. In the network marketing, you can set up shop online, start flower shop, or you can start carpet cleaning business. In my opinion, there are also other popular ways to make money, for instance, So starting a laundromat business at home, another way is to manage furniture making business at home. Brining a new dog into your home is an exciting time for the whole family, not to mention the dog. The first dog training supplies you should buy, before you even bring the dog home, are a food and water bowl, collar, leash, food and a bed. If you have another dog in the home and were thinking of having them both share a bowl, think dog training products again. Sometimes a new dog can be aggressive, or be attacked when trying to feed in a joint bowl. It's best to let the dog know what is his , for food and water. There are different types of anti bark collar. One type is remote dog collar. As the name suggests, it is used to stop a dog from constant, inappropriate barking. This collar is triggered by the dogs bark. remote bark collar works by either a vibration or a sound that is felt or heard by the dog the instant the barking starts. It can be set to different levels and responds only to your dogs bark. There are also dog bark collar that work by spraying an unpleasant spray towards the dogs face as soon as he starts barking. Selecting a underground dog Fence or pet fence to install your self at your home can be very confusing. Most of the market is Dominated by Radio Systems Corporation. They are the makers of PetSafe, InvisibleFence, and Innotek. While these products do well at containing a dog within a in ground dog fence they do have their limitations. First the country of manufacture is China. Sometimes there is a problem with consistency of signal, the signal will expand or contract based on temperature, not all of these systems exhibit this problem, but it does exist. Oil painting reproduction is an affordable way to display replicas of favorite works of art in the home or workplace. If you want to wholesale oil painting, A large number of companies in the US provide reproductions of almost any work of art at a surprisingly affordable price. A good reproduction can fool even the trained eye, and is far more appealing and visually satisfying than a paper reprint of any work of art.

179 خق±êجâخؤµµI'm gonna be 14 this summer. I have been looking online for jobs for 14 year olds are aloud to have. and i have some ideas already but I'm not sure if i wanna do them. i also wanted to know, are 14 year olds aloud to work as waitresses? idk. does anyone have any ideas? Besides the fact that jobs for 16 year olds are hard to come by, most places won't hire anyone that is 14. They aren't ALLOWED to due to labor laws. 16 is usually the youngest they allow.
