| Hillary: I Wouldn’t Have Picked Wright As My PastorWell, duh, she’s too busy dodging sniper fire. Still she makes a point here. One that a lot of Republicans have been making as well. "He would not have been my pastor," Clinton said. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend." Obama's lead in national polls has slipped since clips of the retired Rev. Jeremiah Wright began being played on national news programs. The uproar prompted Obama to give a wide-ranging speech on race in America a week ago. The Clinton campaign has refrained from getting involved in the controversy, but Clinton herself, responding to a question, denounced what she said was "hate speech." "You know, I spoke out against Don Imus (who was fired from his radio and television shows after making racially insensitive remarks), saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that," Clinton said. "I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving. It is so on now. Oh and why did she claim to be super action chick in Bosnia? She was tired and misspoke. Twice it turns out. Isn’t that what Kerry said about his, “I voted for it before I voted against it” gaffe in ’04? I really am enjoying this year's Democratic primary season. It almost is enough to make me forget McCain is the Republican nominee. h/t The Page and thanks to Slublog for the second Hillary/Bosnia Youtbue link. Comments1

This may be Senator Clinton's Dukakis moment. A McCain campaign ad showing Hil "dodging" sniper fire in Bosnia juxtaposed with Lt McCain's plane dodging AAA fire would make the point that there is no there there when it comes to Hil's experience.

Clinton's got some serious psychological issues. For whatever reason I don't know, she likes having people attack her. If conservatives dareto pity her because her husband is a cheatin' slimeball, she makes them attack her by citing a "vast right wing conspiracy".If people didn't shoot at herin Bosnia, she makes up a story that they did. Suppose she actually goes two or three months without a (probably personal) crisis. She or Bill will create one... like they always do.
And Obama's presenting himself as the moderating influence on his own mob of fanatics, which is hardly healthy either. Posted by: David Ross at March 25, 2008 02:17 PM (GwV+j) 4
The blood is really starting to flow now.Obama and Hillarywill be zombie skeletons by time the convention starts.

Anybody on the left with a shred of honesty would admit that both candidates are ridiculous buttholes who should STFU and GBTW.
Seriously, this is like a class president election. Two grasping fools with no experience trying to out-message each other with absolute nonsense. Having a two-senator election is going to be like deciding between the teacher-trombone in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown. Whoever wins, we get the football pulled away from us. Posted by: tachyonshuggy at March 25, 2008 02:57 PM (IVUjc) 9
That Reverend Wright flap was a bomb waiting to go off, I read about this guy on this blog and many others for the past few months. So far Obama has taken a huge hit in the polls and the media as even those who have built him up to messianic levels are having mental meltdown trying to either downplay this story or try to put it into "proper context".
Obama's speech did not do squat with the general public, all the media elites and leftists were swooning over it for middle america, their reaction was MEH. Now many of this hollywood supporters, some who marched with MLK are saying that his speech is BULLSHIT. As it stands Obama is a far greater threat to the Democratic Party, his built up Messiah image has garnered him some really scary followers, they type who are going to cause chaos at the 2008 Convention if he does not get the Nomination. He has alot of clueless idealistic youth who will follow this guy to total ruin. Posted by: GTBurns at March 25, 2008 03:00 PM (iInYK) 10
And Satan has called saying that global warming is a lot of hooey and he needs about ten thousand tons of coal. I know this because I just agreed with Sen. Clinton.

I wonder if running across the runway, dodging sniper fire, was seared - seared - into Hillary's memory.

Well this just proves she's all for party unity. What does she hope to gain from comments like this? We already know she doesn't have a racist pastor, much less any pastor. What's the point? Gotta buy more corn futures.

GTBurns #9 "Now many of this hollywood supporters, some who marched with MLK are saying that his speech is BULLSHIT."
This good news would be much improved with the naming of names, please. from the link at David Ross #12 "But what leaps out at me here is that as the economy worsens, the more Vice-President Willard Milton Romney makes sense. " I wish. But making sense in a worsening economy isn't what sells; if it was, FDR wouldn't have gotten re-elected three times. The econ.prob. works completely to the advantage of the Democrites, and their glib, stupid, pat, quasi-marxist "solutions." Would that it were otherwise. If there's one main thing that will kill McCain's electoral chances, it's this stinking economy. Posted by: Stoop Davy Dave at March 25, 2008 08:01 PM (5kqcG) 20
ricpic, nails it with: What pastor? Hillary's an atheist.
Let's see if the Obama campaign is bold enough to call her out on it. I think Hillary is playing with fire here, and she's much to clumsy to do any constructive piling-on withouthaving it backfire somehow. Posted by: Steve O at March 25, 2008 09:23 PM (LFHbc) 21

What pastor? Hillary's an atheist. #20 Steve O Let's see if the Obama campaign is bold enough to call her out on it. Is the Obie campaign less clowntardiously ridiculous than you two? Apparently so. http://minx.cc/?post=258247 If that doesn't link, try this: http://minx.cc/?post=258247 Posted by: Stoop Davy Dave at March 25, 2008 11:07 PM (ATuQX) 22
I don't think Wright's crypto-marxism bothers Hillary any.

One thing about these two. They are both as predictable as the weather -- WHEN IT'S ALREADY HERE! Is that really what we want in a President?!
