N.H. Debate Thread Part Deux

The Democrats get their turn to tear each other up.

Have at it and enjoy.

NFL Playoff update: Bryan at Hot Air pointed out that you can follow the Steelers-Jags game online here. Right now it's 7-7, the 2nd quarter is about to get underway.

UPDATE (Jack M.) Oh man...Silky and Obama's alliance against Hillary has just cost her this debate.

She lost her cool on this Health Care/Agent of Change stuff. She made it all about her. "I did this...I did that". And she basically said "NH you owe me..I put your kids on SCHIP."

Bad Hillary came out of the bottle. Someone get Allah to put the clip up. It's probably the most important moment of either debate.

UPDATE 2 (Jack M.) Hillary's "reality break" is her second big mistake tonight. Insinuating that John Edwards killed that 17 year old liver patient by failing to get the Patients Bill of Rights through the House? L.O.L.

Man, she's exposing herself as a lamp-throwing harpy tonight. She's really melting down.

UPDATE 3 (Jack M.) HAHAHAH. Good for Obama. In response to Hillary's taking credit for Clinton-era "accomplishments", his saying "I respect BILL Clinton for getting those things done" is fan-freaking-tastic.

10 What's the drinking game for this portion of the debate?

That's a good question. I think the 'Change Game' is still valid but to spice it up, I'd suggest every time one of the candidates says, 'Bush' or some formulation in referring to W. drink.

A bonus game...every time Edwards says 'the rich' or 'the powerful' drink.

Didn't you hear?  The U.S. backing the Shah 50 negates every single American policy in the Middle East, ever.

"Al Qaeda is planning . . ."

"Shah"

"Saddam Hussein is plotting . . ."

"Shah"

"You know, the large bulk of actions we've taken overseas lately have involved coming to the aid of Muslims . . ."

"Shah"

This also marks the 2,358,732,459,623,489th the Shah was mentioned with no reference to the Cold War.

70 HAHAH Clinton just stated the Bush doctrine has the way to go.

From what I'm hearing here, Bush has won in foreign policy wise. You have to leave military force out there on the table now. So the question is to the America people want to blow up terrorists, or do they want to blow up terrorists and destroy the healthcare system in this country?

Look, even though I can't get the debate yet, I'm damn tired of this meme.  Are you a fucking moron?  Who the fuck do you think gave away the nuclear shop to the ChiComs during the '90s?????  Hillary is a card-carrying Marxist intent on reordering government and society to fit her vision of a good communist state reporting to the UN and ICC.  I trust her with our defense and foreign policy as far as I can throw the Washington Monument.

And fuck you, JackM, for not writing my epic poem to Julie Banderas.

Maybe one more Old Buzzard Balls will help take the edge of my bitterness.

I wish I could believe Hillary was for the Bush doctrine, but I don't believe her AT ALL, although she is closer to it than the others.

Also, you could say "blow up terrorists and destroy the healthcare system" about some of the Republicans (Romney probably, Huckabee for sure).

Also, what makes Hitlery truly dangerous w/r/t FP is who she'd put at State, DCI, DHS, NSA, DOD, etc.  That's got long-term implications (i.e. Joe & Valerie, etc.).

122 Beth, I wish you were right, but I'm certain that whatever she would say or do publicly would cover the fact that she was giving away the nuclear shop on the QT.  I also see her elevating CSR to a government-mandated diktat that, along with tax increases and green initiatives et al., would destroy our economy.

227 Obama may not have done much, but Hillary cratered.

She really did. I mean she ran out of feet to shoot herself in, so she moved on to legs, arms, whatever was handy.

Hillary was a school yard bully. She looked invincible right up until the moment someone actually punched back. Like all bullies, she folded in a heartbeat.

She's done.

229 My impressions:

1) I never thought I'd feel real sympathy for Bill Clinton.  She's worse than I could ever have imagine.  What a harpy.

2) Richardson and his hair piece are both buffoons.  Good Lord, what a freaking blowhard.

3) First official action for President Silky Point: A wilding spree on K Street.  He's gonna bust a cap in some lobbyist ass.

4) Senator Tay Zonday wants to be our President.  Chocolate Rain for everybody!

Why do I have the feeling that if Hillary doesn't get the Dem nomination, the one who does will have a Vince Foster/Ron Brown episode, followed by lawsuit filings to move the election back to give H! more time?

Just saying.

234 Are all of you who are amusing yourselves at the perceived Hillary train-wreck going to be still laughing when that empty suit Obama wins in November ?

I think not. Better order those crying towels now.
You're going to need them. It's not like the Republicans have ANYONE you can all agree on to support and who actually has a chance of winning the nomination. A complete neophyte potentially in charge of the only super-power in a time of International Crisis.

This is just sad.

241 "Instead of ordering crying towels, dougf, can I just have yours?
The tears of Hillary's! supporters are just so, so, sweet."---Jack M.

It always amuses me to see that the 'conservatives' are every bit as clueless and blinkered as the 'progressives'. Just clueless 'differently'. Not 'better', just 'differently.

Why do you assume that simply because I state that your glee at a Hillary deconstruction is misplaced and actually contra-indicated, that I am a Hillary supporter ? Because it makes your world ever so much easier ?

I can't abide her. Never could. She is a pandering amoral Power Seeker and the sooner she and her unprincipled band of clowns are gone from History the better. If I never heard of her or Bubba again, that would be aces with me. The fact that in the BIG Issue of the WOT she is 'better' than the rest of the Democrats, is really not saying much. But she is in fact, BETTER for whatever motivation she might have.

She is also, by far, the WEAKEST Candidate and the EASIEST to beat in 2008. She almost defeats herself as we are now seeing. And in the current dysfunctional state of the Republican Party, it really needs an opponent that can be counted on to defeat her/him self.

So your silly glee in her premature destruction is likely to be entirely self-defeating. When you should want her to implode is AFTER not BEFORE securing the nomination. Now that would be something to celebrate.

Instead you run the very large risk of getting as an opponent a different type of unprincipled clown with NO EXPERIENCE but one who appeals to that 'guilty thingy', and who does not have a track record you can beat like a drum during a campaign.

Like I said --- left, right, what's the difference ? Short sighted and insular in either direction. Can't or won't see the forest for all the trees. And worse not even interested in looking for it.

Laugh now --- cry later. Let's see how that works out for you.

242 Why do you assume that simply because I state that your glee at a Hillary deconstruction is misplaced and actually contra-indicated, that I am a Hillary supporter ? Because it makes your world ever so much easier ?

No, Trolly McTroll. I made the assumption because you referred to Hillary's performance as a "perceived train-wreck" as if I should believe that somehow, someway, Hillary came out looking good last night.

It was an "actual train-wreck". Only someone spinning for Hillary would call it anything different.

You say you aren't a Hillary supporter. More power to you. Thanks for the lecture on seeing forests and trees though. Your grasp of political strategy is amazing, Did you come up with that all by yourself?

But since you are new here, let me clue you in on something. I think the GOP nominee beats either Hillary or Obama. Hence, my delight in watching her go down in flames.

Man up Nancy-boy. Save your worrying and tut-tutting for when it's warranted.
