Heh: Zogby's 9/11 Poll Commissioned By... Iran

And that is possibly illegal, given this whole economic embargo and all.

The poll's major finding?

A new poll indicates that some 43 percent of Americans believe that Washington knew about the 9/11 attacks but did nothing to stop them.

According to the Press TV-Zogby International poll, 42.5 percent of the respondents believed that the Bush Administration knew about the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center but did nothing to prevent the attacks.

Only 37.5 percent of the respondents strongly disagreed with the idea and 4.5 percent neither agreed nor disagreed with it.

Thanks, Zogby!

3 Eh.

I'm comforted by the poll... it makes me feel all special having proof like this that I'm smarter than 43 % of America.

Seriously though, is a poll of 1006 people really statistically valid, especially given that the people questioned are ones with listed numbers? People are giving up land-lines in larger numbers every year, so you are left with a poll sample that I suspect spends more time in front of their tv's watching the liberal media (be it news or regular programming) than your average American.

'Uh, no. I always thought he was an antiIsrael, antisemetic, arab asshole.'

He's not an Arab, he's a Persian. What's the difference? Well, one's called and Arab, the other's called a Persian.

Shouldn't these people spend their money on AA batteries rather than silly polls? Actually, it's probably a good thing they're spending money on silly polls.

Zogby, as it's well known, is a registered Democrat but is still a respected pollster. He doesn't care who pays for his polls. He pretty much sticks to his science.

Here is my post on that poll sponsored by the Troofers.

Zogby Poll: 42% of Democrats are 9/11 Truthers

I don't know if Press TV "sponsored" a re-release of the same data, or if the linked blogger has broken a link. But the poll data are identical.

Sweetness & Light may have just linked to the wrong poll data, but they are the same as the data done for the trooofers.

12 Cartman:      Oh really? Well did you know that over one-fourth 43% of people in America think that 9/11 was a conspiracy? Are you saying that one-fourth 43% of Americans are retards?
Kyle:     Yes. I'm saying one-fourth 43% of Americans are retards.
Stan:     Yeah, at least one-fourth 43%.

In the poll sponsored by da troofahs, 42% of Democrats said it was either an inside job or that the Bush Cheney Halliburton junta let it happen.

Even Wal-Mart shoppers and NASCAR fans polled better than the Dems.

Random fact:

John Zogby's brother is Jim Zogby, founder of the Arab American Institute.

Rosetta,

The Zogby's (as are the "Zoghby's" in the Southeast) are Christian immigrants from the Lebanese diaspora in the 1950's and 1960's.

So are the Kahaleh's and the Khalifeh's.

They are mostly Democrats, but there are a few GOP supporters in the group, including members of the Naman tribe.

It's what we like to call the "Lebanese Mafia."

I know John personally, as well as a few other members of La cosa Lebanon.

9% believe the government did 9-11 themselves, an assinine belief but you can get 9% of any group to believe any damn thing.

The next question asks whether the government knew and didn't stop 9-11. There, a great deal more responded positively. But wouldn't that include those who are aware we had enough information to pick up at least two of the terrorists and didn't?

We all know the Feds dropped the ball here, that they had the data but didn't connect the dots. If you want to get those who believe the Feds fucked up to answer a question in a way that looks like the respondents believe the government complicit, then you pose the question exactly as Zogby did.

Zogby = Isalmist tool.

23 Ralph L - had the same thought.  Gotta be that same 43% that was there for Clinton and will still be there in '08.  I think that the 43%, give or take a couple, is all the whackos will be able to come up with, so they got to figure out how to make Hillarity! win with that amount of the vote.
