First - the analysis Ace provided is quite faulty.

The message is simple: "There will be a gift on the date of the blessed invasion of Manhattan." All this means is ... some audio recording will be released on September 11. It will be old, Osama saying nothing that we haven't heard before, spliced together from old tape. Reason: Osama bin Laden is dead.

Muslims believe that September 11, 2001 was  "the invasion of Manhattan." That's all that phraseology means. Considering their "invading force" all died in the "invasion" I'm thinking maybe they use this word invasion, but I - Enigo Montoya - do not think it means what they think it means.

Second - If Osama was alive, and you were Osama, what would you tell Americans on the anniversary that would best benefit your cause? Well, if it was me, I'd announce the cessation of all hostilities against the United States. I'd announce a ceasefire, and order all jihadis in all Muslim lands to stand down.

I realize that by 11/9 they are using the European representation for 11 September.

But 11/9 in the US means 09 November, and the website does show "11/9", so maybe the site really means 09 November.

Is 09 November related to any lunar event or lines up with any historical Muslim event?

What about Jewish holidays?

Is any event in NYC scheduled for 09 November, or any day close (Veteran’s Day?) ? What about anywhere else in the US, Britain or Europe?

It seems an improbable indicator, but 9/11, on 9/10 and before, was not unusual.
