Another Fun Game of Guess That Party!

Mark sends me another episode of the game show that's sweeping the media. A California Representative was charged with assault and battery at an airport; since the article refuses to say, it's time for all of us to play Guess the Party!

Perhaps we should just start calling the Democratic Party the Mystery Party. Because whenever a Democrat is caught up in some bad business, the media have an extraordinarily difficult determining which political party he belongs too.

Via the "very smart real military bloggers" at The Sniper.

Update: The party affiliation has now been added to the above-linked story. However, CNN is still playing Guess the Party with viewers.

Call in to CNN! I hear if you correctly Guess That Party you win a car or something.

MSNBC Too: Funny how they just seem to conveniently forget all the goddamn time.

Yes.  It was added in.  Soon this will be added [in]:

ABC 7/Newschannel 8 has learned the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have charged Democratic Representative Robert Filner of California with assault and battery following an incident at Dulles International Airport Sunday night.  [The incident occurred after a session of Congress during which Rep. Filner spoke against the 'mess that this administration's failed policies have left for the children around the world'.  Rep. Filner's motion to make things better was tabled due to pressure applied by Republican plutocrats.  Sources say that Rep. Filner may have 'lashed out' because he cares so much, perhaps too much.]
