| Shocker: Democrats Fighting Like The Dickens To Kill John Doe ProtectionLet a thousand lawsuits bloom! “Democrats are trying to find any technical excuse to keep immunity out of the language of the bill to protect citizens, who in good faith, report suspicious activity to police or law enforcement,” Mr. King said in an interview last night. “This is a slap in the face of good citizens who do their patriotic duty and come forward, and it caves in to radical Islamists,” Mr. King said. “I don't see how you can have a homeland security bill without protecting people who come forward to report suspicious activity,” Mr. King said. Republicans aides say they will put up a fight with Democrats when the conference committee begins at 1 p.m., to reinsert the language, but that public pressure is also needed. Comments1
Government anti-terrorism initiatives will do the job. We don't need citizens going off half-cocked.

Isn't 'radical Islamist', along with 'extreme Muslim', 'angry Muslim' and so on, a tautology? Best to have several thousand maimed and dead than risk offending a group of people who've contributed nothing positive to humanity for at least 500 years, possibly ever. The only thing half-cocked is you---That is if you can define 1 1/2" as "half". Posted by: Kasper Hauser at July 19, 2007 12:28 PM (KeOQp) 4
NYC-That's right Ms. Genovese, just relax, it will be over in a minute.
Flt 93-You passengers sit down, no civilians going off half cocked, Uncle Sugar has this under control... Are you fucking kidding me? No really, sometimes I can't tell, I don't want to be suckered by typical fucking moonbat type. Posted by: carl hungus at July 19, 2007 12:32 PM (bWkaR) 5
I cannot possibly see a Democrat advantage in opposing this. The US Muslim contingent is too small to be electorally significant. This wouldn't even aid lawyers all that much; people won't risk a lawsuit, they'll just stop reporting it when they're uncomfortable.

Well, since I'm a fair-minded sort, they did contribute the zero to mathematics. Other than that....meh. Posted by: IllTemperedCur at July 19, 2007 12:38 PM (tVbxd) 7
Well, since I'm a fair-minded sort, they did contribute the zero to mathematics. Other than that....meh. No, they didn't. They appropriated that advance from the Hindus. So they're still batting .000, ironically a batting average they couldn't communicate without slaughtering some Indians. Posted by: VJay at July 19, 2007 12:43 PM (qEool) 8
But you can't really say zero is positive, can you?

Actually, they stole the 0 from the Persians. Everything you see attributed to Islamic culture actually came from the cultures they had conquered and was produced prior to Islam destroying the conquered culture's vitality. I'm flying to the Mediteranian soonish. If I see these fuckers sneeze sideways, I will report it. The last time I flew over they made me take off my Reebok sandals. Lots of deadly potential there from an Aryan, "Hitler Youth" looking bastard like me. On the way over I brought a dozen high quality "automatic knives" as gifts, and they tore apart my sons Thomas the Train toys. Yeah I trust burger flippers, last week, and "Homeland Security Specialists" this week. Go ahead sue me. Stand in line. It will help bring these scumbags "out of the shadows". We are concerned about people in the shadows aren't we? I fly El-Al for the racial profiling.

Ordinary citizens trying to protect themselves need to be subject to lawsuits! They need to let the government handle this... now that we've hobbled the FBI, subverted the CIA, exposed all the surveillance programs, and demoralized the troops. And don't forget we're working hard on gutting the missile defense programs! Have we overlooked anything? Errr... what exactly do you mean by "our scared honor"? Of course the Islamophobes want to protect the right of infidels American citizens to harass brown people of Muslim persuasion. This immunity law is prejudicial and contrary to Sharia Law the US Constitution, which we respect and love dearly.
I love this line-crossing out thing, don't you know that Muslims invented the internet? Allahu Akbar. Posted by: CAIR Spokesman at July 19, 2007 01:03 PM (YmPwQ) 16
Are these the same Democrats that LOVE laws that protect whistle blowers, especially the ones that leak classified info to the New York Times and the Washington Post???

Hmmmm...I wonder what they would say if someone phoned in a tip that a terrorist bombing were to happen in a well known Blue district....say San Fran. Hell, why bother with SF as an example. Terrorists probably get free parking passes along with a venti Starbucks coffee of the day over there. Posted by: EC at July 19, 2007 01:20 PM (mAhn3) 19

It plays into the "Bush is a fasist[sic] Nazi taking away all my rights!!!!!" schtick. That's got more electoral sway than I'm comfortable thinking about. Posted by: Heather at July 19, 2007 01:31 PM (yG+tb) 21
What is their rationale for removing this provision??? Trial lawyers are huge contributors to the Dems, and oppose any and all attempts to keep them from making a dishonest buck. Posted by: Hollowpoint at July 19, 2007 01:36 PM (plsiE) 22

Well, we certainly cannot have the hoi polloi thinking that they can assist in their own protection. That just would not be prudent. They must only be allowed to depend upon us, as we know what is best for them, the poor deluded dears. Posted by: The Democrats [sniff] at July 19, 2007 01:41 PM (wWwJR) 23

Zero, along with the ancient mathematics that forms the base of modern Algebra, Geometry and Calculus, were invented in India dozens of centuries before Mohammad was a disturbance in his fathers pants. They just needed to invent the number zero so they could get to -4, thus fulfilling their dream of making 7-11 work. Posted by: Hollowpoint at July 19, 2007 02:12 PM (plsiE) 25

Liberals are convinced that white, Christian Americans are all vicious bloodthirsty racist killers. Consequently any admission that Muslims might be dangerous is sure to send the dangerous pale people into a frenzy of xenophobic slaughter.

I would suggest you view the video program on C-SPAN Book TV titled, Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America featuring Brigitte Gabriel. I would also suggest you visit her website, American Congress for Truth. Radical Muslim terrorist have already infiltrated the U.S and is waiting to unleash their terror on America. When the body bombs start in Wal-Mart, then America will wake up. Congressional Democrats failed to include a provision in homeland security legislation that would protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack, according to House Republican leaders. I will have a hard time buying ugg classic cardy at normal brick and mortar store for now on knowing that I can browse the largest selection I have ever seen and purchase confidently. Thanks for being a great company.Although your ugg boots cardy website is entered by users, the site has a lot of accurate and useful information on it.your net shop is kept to a minimum and favours websites connected to the ugg cardy boots Web Design Library in appearance and subject.
The popular blue ugg is renowned for its comfort. In fact, there is nothing wrong! The crochet boots online retailer also knows bargain-hungry shoppers are scouring the Web for discounts, and its UGG Classic Crochet rivals are more than happy to provide them.
