Why is it NOT worth pointing out? Nobody said it was a smoking gun that would be the downfall of the administration. It is just an interesting data point. It wasn't that long ago that a leftist running for high office would seek to avoid any such associations. There was a time when Democrats sought to keep communists from positions of power in this country. HUAC was started by Democrat in the 30s and stayed that way for quite a long time.

71 Also, if they were actually clueless, the mistakes wouldn't all go the same direction - they'd accidentally use fonts used by industrial giants, they'd have pictures of *Ooops* Rockefeller and not *Oops* Mao on Christmas ornaments, and they'd do an interview with a poster of Justin Beeper in the background, not Che Guevara.

Obama was raised a Marxists by Marxists, surrounded himself with Marxists, many of his long-time associates are Marxists... this is not a case of "just unlucky, I guess."

The choice of font doesn't say anything really dramatic except that the people Obama surrounds himself with think this is *normal*. Along with Che posters and associating with people like Bill Ayers.

Because plotting mass murder is perfectly okay, as long as you do it from the left.

The busses, subways & stations are de facto daycare and toilets for psychotic lunatic fare jumpers.

There is no modern equivalent of an in-their-prime Borgie, or Burt Lancaster, or Gregory Peck. Maybe theres a Lee Marvin or two but I cant think of one offhand.
Nowadays its Russell Brand, Chris Rock, Sam Worthington, Vin Dieselor Maaaaaaatt Daaaaamon. No thanks.

1.) Ending unemployment - Everyone shall have five options for gainful employment under the New Order: Production, Minion, the Legion, Officer in the Army of Mole People (since they can't very well command themselves), and Test Subject!

2.) Ending international conflicts - Indiscriminate bombardment by Ornithopters and war dirigibles armed with flaming naptha bombs and Tesla cannons shall make short work of our enemies!

3.) Improving international relations - Fewer countries, Fewer problems!

4.) Tasteful uniforms!

5.) Thoughtful consideration before embarking on large-scale infrastructural improvement projects.

117 LOS ANGELES — Ernest Borgnine, the beefy screen star known for blustery, often villainous roles, but who won the best-actor Oscar for playing against type as a lovesick butcher in “Marty” in 1955, died Sunday. He was 95.

His longtime spokesman, Harry Flynn, told The Associated Press that Borgnine died of renal failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with his wife and children at his side.

Borgnine, who endeared himself to a generation of Baby Boomers with the 1960s TV comedy “McHale’s Navy,” first attracted notice in the early 1950s in villain roles, notably as the vicious Fatso Judson, who beat Frank Sinatra to death in “From Here to Eternity.”

Except nuclear disarmament. That goes back to the only article we know he wrote, in a Columbia U. magazine. It was basically for unilateral disarmament but chastised radicals for being too open about their radicalism.

I think he's stuck in 1983, when he graduated from Columbia's General Studies program. Just before Reagan smashed Keynes and a few years before the invincible Soviet Union crumbled under its own weight. And the great FDR's ideas were irrefutable.

178 Something the Kipling quotes recently reminded me of -- he had an absolutely perfect description of Obama!

A Servant When He Reigneth

Three things make earth unquiet
And four she cannot brook
The godly Agur counted them
And put them in a book --
Those Four Tremendous Curses
With which mankind is cursed;
But a Servant when He Reigneth
Old Agur entered first.
An Handmaid that is Mistress
We need not call upon.
A Fool when he is full of Meat
Will fall asleep anon.
An Odious Woman Married
May bear a babe and mend;
But a Servant when He Reigneth
Is Confusion to the end.

His feet are swift to tumult,
His hands are slow to toil,
His ears are deaf to reason,
His lips are loud in broil.
He knows no use for power
Except to show his might.
He gives no heed to judgment
Unless it prove him right.

Because he served a master
Before his Kingship came,
And hid in all disaster
Behind his master's name,
So, when his Folly opens
The unnecessary hells,
A Servant when He Reigneth
Throws the blame on some one else.

His vows are lightly spoken,
His faith is hard to bind,
His trust is easy boken,
He fears his fellow-kind.
The nearest mob will move him
To break the pledge he gave --
Oh, a Servant when he Reigneth
Is more than ever slave!

189 The subtle hints to Marxism is mainly to the white hipsters. Like the ones out in downtown Louisville (Colorado), who are very much enjoying their new restaurant, "La Revolucion" - the one all tricked out in black and red. Ooh, so chic!

The nods to Marxism are lost on Obama's other demographics. They are mainly getting the "we care about da po'" shpiel. That, and physical taxpayer-funded Free Stuff.

193 Obama's thing there - that's what we call a "typeface" - "font" refers to specific sets within the typeface. Like the bold, alternate, italic, etc versions

While an invaluable resource, that site is very badly proofread---as evidenced by the lack of a space between the first and second stanzas of "Servant," and the missing "r" in "broken" in the final stanza.

Also---pardon me for pointing it out---you've elided the quoted lines from Proverbs which Kipling is referencing.
