Sarah Palin Speaks On Tucson Murders; And The Loughner Left Has Gone Full "Conscience [sic] Dreaming"

Why is Sarah Palin speaking on this? Why does she have to speak about this?

Well, because, of course, the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) have put her in the position of the Son of Sam's dog, delivering Satanic commands into the jug-ears of bug-eyed freak Loughner. They did this on the basis of zero evidence, and, as I keep saying, quite a welter of evidence against the thesis, but they did it just the same, because they can. They don't have the power to control the Narrative anymore, but they damnsure have the power to push it.

So here we have the spectacle of someone not the Sheriff of Pima County having to explain her purported negligence in the shooting while the actual Sheriff of Pima County has not been asked a single question about his own.

That's where we are. That's the country we live in.

Video at The Campaign Spot; here's the passage that will be quoted and debated.

Vigorous and spirited public debates during elections are among our most cherished traditions. And after the election, we shake hands and get back to work, and often both sides find common ground back in D.C. and elsewhere. If you don’t like a person’s vision for the country, you’re free to debate that vision. If you don’t like their ideas, you’re free to propose better ideas. But, especially within hours of a tragedy unfolding, journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible.

There are those who claim political rhetoric is to blame for the despicable act of this deranged, apparently apolitical criminal. And they claim political debate has somehow gotten more heated just recently. But when was it less heated? Back in those “calm days” when political figures literally settled their differences with dueling pistols? In an ideal world all discourse would be civil and all disagreements cordial. But our Founding Fathers knew they weren’t designing a system for perfect men and women. If men and women were angels, there would be no need for government. Our Founders’ genius was to design a system that helped settle the inevitable conflicts caused by our imperfect passions in civil ways. So, we must condemn violence if our Republic is to endure.

Because everything Sarah Palin says or does is "controversial," of course this is controversial too; she used the term "blood libel," which, it is now alleged, cannot be used, ever, except in reference to the Jewish population which was first slurred by the original "blood libel." (No word yet from Keith Olbermann on why she can't say "blood libel" but he can say "Holocaust," referring to attempts to block the Ground Zero Mosque; but I'm sure he'll come up with one.)

Geraghty is already refuting this typical, brain-dead ankle-biting by saying the use of the term in other contexts is "more common than you think," which is wrong in my case, because I already did think it was very common. But his Nexus/Lexus search is more authoriative than my hunches.

It should be noted here that this newest round of shrieking and caterwauling is perfectly of a piece with the last; Sarah Palin's every word is scrutinized and criticized for being inappropriate and dangerous, and of course her use of the word "targeting" caused this attack, and now, we find out, that in a speech defending herself (obliquely) from such attacks, she has now further contributed to the "climate of hate" by using the term "blood libel."

Blood. What a giveaway, as Monty Python would say.

This is the lunacy that she/we will all be subjected to, every single word-choice challenged, because, yeah, the Narrative did get out the door and the Democrats and the media have determined that no one, no power on heaven or earth, shall ever stop the Narrative.

You can contain the Narrative, you can rebut it, but you can't stop the Narrative.

This is in fact blood libel, and this is now, officially, the Stupidest Shit I've Ever Heard In My Whole Fucking Life. We are now debating -- quite seriously, or we're supposed to be quite serious about debating this -- whether Sarah Palin can use martial imagery in her speech, even though everyone in politics does this, including the very media now assuring us this is all a terrible thing. And we are supposed to have this very serious debate while our opponents in the debate are simply making things up, or, more accurately: We are supposed to indulge our opponents' retreat to a fantasy world they've constructed, and not disrupt their fantasy too much, because, who knows, Paul Krugman might snap if we do.

Thus we are all summoned to discuss the effects of Sarah Palin's target symbols on the mind of Jared Loughner (quick version of that discussion: None) and pretend that it was a Tea Party "climate of hate" that cause Jared Loughner to get violent over his belief that the government was using grammar to mind control us and keep us from escaping into the world of "conscience [sic] dreaming."

We're really supposed to have this discussion. And we're supposed to be buttoned-up serious about it. People are dead, after all, so of course we must pay lip service to our opponents' own Loughnerian escape into fantasy worlds of conscience [sic] dreaming.

As Allah asked: Am I awake?

Yes, yes you are. All of this shit? It's really happening.

So, because one segment of the population has, along with Jared Loughner, fled to a dream world that they control, "consciencely" [sic], by simply asserting that white is black and day is night, we're supposed to join them, and find common ground with them, and find something interesting that we can jointly agree upon.

I suppose: Yes, this world of conscience [sic] dreaming you've made is certainly a nice one, and, assuming the various false premises you've conscience [sic] dreamed into existence, I do see that your syllogism does follow (again, Loughner-like) from those false premises.

I guess I'm supposed to say that.

Since the left has gone Loughner, maybe I'll join them.

Paranoid schizophrenics see patterns and connections where there are none, and where tangible, real-world evidence tells us there are none.

Leftists see patterns and connections were there are none, and where tangible, real-world evidence tells us there are none.

Therefore, leftists have become paranoid schizophrenics.

That may be true. But that's not how I feel. Here is how I currently feel, on Day 4 of being locked in a leftist Loughner Dream:

If you say a false narrative is crazy, you yourself have claimed to know what is crazy or is not crazy, and that belief is itself crazy.

Ace says this false narrative is crazy.

Therefore, Ace is crazy.

I would argue we should hammer the left on this point. By claiming that we conservatives can make crazy liberals shoot their congresswoman, without them even having to listen, the left is making its own version of the "words shape reality" argument.

8 Those with absolute moral authority are those who have more blood on their hands than any right winger ever will. They embrace thingslike unfettered abortion and euthenasia while eschewing proactive defense of not only our country but also Eastern European countries and Israel. Only they are allowed to speak freely, and only they are allowed to use such rhetoric and dissent is only patriotic when they are in the minority. The other side is supposed to shut the "F"up. That's how things work in a liberal utopia.

56 Ace,
I have a question, and I've been thinking about it for a while now.

How does this end peacefully or amicably? I don't mind partisanship. I don't want to live in a one party state, or a country where both parties are the exact same thing.
But it's pretty clear that partisanship is entering uncharted territories here. I'm of the opinion there can never be a "calming down" or rhetoric. And before people flip out on me, i am mainly refering to how the fringest element of the Democrat party controls the debate within the party and the media. 20-30 years ago the "moderate" democrats and reasonable liberals controlled the Democrats and the media. As bad as people like Walter Cronkite were, it wasn't anything near this.
I just don't see where we go from here. In 2008 the media went all out for Obama, which is understandable. He was their guy, they backed him. However, this has taken a drastic turn for the worse. Now, they realize all the fawning press can't help Obama enough to stay afloat, so they have set their sites on destroying Republicans, Libertarians, Conservatives, etc.
During the Town Halls, they would claim the people were mobs, and I didn't think much of it at the time as that's what they do to us in their coverage. However, the more I think about it, I believe they were being farsighted. They were trying to set up a narrative for when a Tea Partier or Conservative actually did make a political or some other killing. (to be honest, I am suprised someone even loosely affiliated with a tea party hasn't killed anyone. If polls are right, there are tens of millions of Americans who affliate in some way with the tea party. That's a really large group, and having one or two nutcases should be expected.) Digression aside, it is obvious to me now that the media has had this "extreme rhetoric" angle in the bag for some time now and they've been itching to pull it out. I'd be willing to bet that if you looked on journalists hard drives, they have mad lib like articles written and are just waiting to insert a Republican/Tea Party persons name.
But it's been 2 years and they have nothing. No killings, no murder sprees, no political assinations to blame on the right. I guess they've given up being patient and have decided to push a narrative full force in spite of the facts on the ground. I know that they loosely tried to put the Discovery Channel shooter and IRS attacker in the the tea party camp, but it wasn't anywhere near as forceful as this.
Within 2-3 hours of the shooting, every network, save Fox, were blaming Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. In fact CNN and the networks are still blaming Sarah Palin and the Tea Party despite the fact evidence points to insanity.
I know we often joke and mock the media, but is this some sort of Rubicon they've crossed. Is there any going back? Bias is one thing, and as Purple Avenger pointed out, this isn't even Yellow Journalism. This is wose. Yellow Journalism was about populism, this is about control, specifically liberal or democratic control through media. (the NYT uses grammar to control thought, heh).

I am tempted to ask what can be done, but I think a better question is what is going to happen next?

58 I wonder if Loughner is sane enough to be able to comprehend what he could do by telling a lie right now about his motivations for the killings.
If he said that he was indeed spurred on by the Palin map (an unverifiable claim that is very difficult to disprove, since even a search of his internet browsing history would not be able to prove that he did not ever view the map in some other location), he would have the President of the United States knocking on his door with a job offer and the best defense attorneys Democratic donor money could buy.
(If the little matter of a felony arrest and six murders would disqualify him for government work, there are plenty of op-ed positions available at the New York Times. He likes grammar, anyway.)
The guy would probably actually get away with a not guilty by reason of insanity verdict as a result.

60 I'm actually glad most Republican leaders kept their pie holes shut. Had they jumped into the kerfuffle it would have played right into the left's hands and it would have been a back and forth battle.

By staying above the fray they have looked dignified and classy and pretty much taken away the core of the left's argument, Republicans produce a climate of hate. It's pretty obvious who is winning the PR battle here.

Liberals have dug themselves a nice, deep hole. No need to interrupt them now.

65 HOLY SHIT: Why is this almost always the case?

Officers stopped suspect on day of Ariz. shooting
TUCSON, Ariz. – A wildlife officer pulled over the suspect in the
assassination attempt against an Arizona congresswoman less than three
hours before the deadly attack, authorities said Wednesday as they
pieced together more details of a frenzied morning.
Jared Lougher ran a red light but was let off with a
warning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the Arizona Game and Fish Department
said. The officer took Loughner's driver's license and vehicle
registration information but found no outstanding warrants on Loughner
or his vehicle.
Wildlife officers don't usually make traffic stops
unless public safety is at risk, such as running a red light, the

It's the latest evidence of Loughner's busy morning

Also that morning, Loughner, 22, ran into the desert

black bag from the trunk of a family car, said Rick Kastigar, chief of
the department's investigations bureau. Investigators are still
searching for the bag.

70 I'm trying hard not to go to a place where I envision something happening to Palin. Talk about fuel on the fire? One only needs to watch that youtube montage to see how unstable leftists are when it comes to her. Of course everything/everyone is expendable and a means to an end. How many of those lunatics inferred or said she needed to be taken out for the greater good?

I said this last night. It will be the equivalent of a leftard suicide bomber. The Palins will be forced to drop someone that is threatening their family. This person will be lauded as a "troubled but innocent young man who loved kittehs, small children and his mother." He will become a martyr of the left, andSarah's aspirations for higher office will be thwarted by all the negative publicity.
I see himcoming atthem with a fake (but real looking weapon--the Dan Rather of guns). They react and shoot to kill. When it's revealed that the gun was fake, the media will rain down on the Palins--how they shot an innocent unarmed man. Behind the scene, promises made to the young man before he embarked on this venture will be kept--money and a house given to his family, and the 72 Versions of this brave young man's story will be published and aired by all branches of the MFM.

71 Ace,
You'd be remiss if you think we're having a debate with these people. Debates typically involve reasoned discourse wherein one side must refute the points the other side has made.

This is no debate. This is just an echo chamber of leftist crazy. This is why Newsweek sold for a dollar, why MSNBC is in the ratings cellar, and why the NYT is on the verge of going under. The vast majority of Americans have rejected this weapons grade lunacy that is being spouted by these "elite."

Hell, half the people that read/watch/listen to their crap are people like you and me who like to self-flagellate ourselves for some disturbing reason.

This type of hysterical libel is the death knell of a group that's lost control of the message. The irony is that this will only speed up their demise.

140 Palin's use of "blood libel" was accurate and it is unsurprising that your typical liberal fuckwit doesn't understand for the simple fact that its first recorded use (and the most commonly known use to Christians) is found in the Gospel.

And Lord knows a liberal's skin will burn if he touches the Good Book.

The term dates back to when Pontius Pilate washed his hands of the Jesus affair and the Jewish mob purportedly said, "His blood be upon us and our children." The blaming of a group (the Jews) for a murder (of Jesus) is the original blood libel.

So why do lefties jump right to the ("common" for THEM) explanation that it can only refer to the accusations of Jews using children's blood to bake matzoh balls?

BECAUSE THEY ARE ANTI-SEMITIC ASSHOLES WHO NEVER MET A JEW-MURDERING MUSLIM THAT THEY DID NOT IMMEDIATELY WANT TO SUCK OFF.

The only frame of reference they have is the one in which Judeo-Christian values and those who live by them are the source of all this country's evils. They hate us and will settle for nothing less than enslaving, reeducating or wiping us out. I just wish they weren't such pussies. Let's get this shit on and get it settled once and for all.

Hezbollah bloc is resigning from Lebanon's Cabinet, official says, bringing government to brink of collapse http://bit.ly/f4ribi

Bad
news. This will bring chaos to Lebanon, allowing the
Hezzie/Syrian/Iran coalition to potentially regain control of the entire
country and use it as a staging ground for their next war against
Israel.

/In the end, there will be only chaos.

While, Hariri was meeting with Obama Wednesday at the moment that Hezbollah
and its allies resigned from the Lebanese government, an AFP
photographer said. The two men were meeting in the Oval Office at the
White House, smiling as they posed for photographers, without making any
statements. At the same moment, Hezbollah ministers and their allies
resigned from the Lebanese cabinet in a crisis linked to a UN probe into
the murder of Hariri's father, and the former premier Rafiq Hariri.
Just minutes later the Lebanese government collapsed.

144 #85 The new narrative...They are now going to blame Reagan, who in the 1980's, helped change the laws so that the mentally kill couldn't be held against their will..."

A good example of creative history and well-intentioned lying by the left. Reagan signed a bill which contained these new laws, written by and passed by a Democrat Congress, which were part of the, let's call it the Psychotics' Lib Movement of the late Sixties and the Seventies, heavily sponsored by the ACLU and other soft-headed progressives. Actually, as Charles Krauthammer reminded us on Fox yesterday, they began closing down the mental hospitals and turning " harmless" pyschotics loose during the Kennedy Administration (yeah!), and then turned most mental patients loose in 1978 during the Carter Administration. The resulting rise in urban chaos and the homeless population was, of course, immediately blamed on Reagan, once Reagan was inaugurated in January 1981.

Sounds to me like the only words that affected Loughner was Gifford's response to his bizarreness, she answered his craziness but embarrassed him and made him feel foolish in him mind (which he was/is). He said she was fake.

He also spent a lot of time on that UFO site refuting space flight,
space shuttles not real, fake or something. Gifford's husband was an
astronaut.

And since speculation is the new black, I wonder if he viewed the multiple encounters with police (with no actions other than words it appears) as "intimidation" set upon him by the object of his rejection, Cong. Giffords. (other friends said in the last year he became suspicious of them, thinking the friends were stalking him or trying to steal his car)

And just in case, I am not saying Gifford's did anything, said anything to warrant this, not in the least. Loughner is mentally deranged and only he is to blame. I am just piecing together known facts in my speculation.

203 56 - Ben, I don't think it's even yellow journalism, it's journalism for hire. The MFM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Soros and his ilk.Beck has done some stellar work in showing how journalism programs -- starting with Columbia U. -- adopted progressive tenets in their programs, i.e., we know better than the rubes reading this, therefore, we need to slant the news so they'll see the wisdom of their betters in how the country should be governed.
I just had the same conversation about an hour ago that you discussed in your post. The two sides are SO far apart, I see no way to come together. Because of the MFM's massive reach, it's made to seem that conservatives hold the minority of "wrongheaded thought," but I keep in mind the stats that always show conservatives outnumber libs. And the hard-left libs are a small fraction of the lib contingent.
As for what happens long-term, I don't know. The FCC is currently deciding what's going to be fair on the internet (with the brilliant James Clyburn's daughter, Mignon, a professional regulator, being one of the deciders of our fate.) The Commerce Dept will be assigning our individual ID numbers for Internet access, and (per Rush) the unelected Al Sharpton says the FCC is willing to hold hearings on Rush Limbaugh on Rev. this is slightly off topic but your story made me remember it. The family down the street from my rents got their baby Jesus stolen out of their manger scene. They were heart broken, they had the entire neighborhood looking for the baby Jesus which was stolen right after they put it out on Christmas eve. Today I found out the baby Jesus mysteriously returned. The entire neighborhood is in a tizzy over this as this is not the kind of neighborhood where anything is stolen from anyone.

Arizona's law allows for arrest, detention, and charging of anyone that make a statement that is perceived as a threat by the complaining party.

Later that day, he posted a rant titled "Why Rape," which said women in college enjoyed being raped. "There are Rape victims that are under the influence of a substance. The drinking is leading them to rape. The loneliness will bring you to depression. Being alone for a very long time will inevitably lead you to rape."

249 Good thing there is such a thing as a free market of opinions in this country. The voters will eventually decide Sarah Palin's fate.

No one is saying she should be arrested or muzzled for what she has said in the past, or what she is capable of saying in the future. She understands the concept of Freedom of Speech, but she doesn't seem to understand that people are free to justly or unjustly judge her by what she says.

When she positions herself as America's Favorite Sexed-Up Gun Nut, then people are going to uncomfortably look in her direction when something like this happens. And no one is being unreasonable when they doubt her sincerity. She says "I hate violence" to Glenn Beck, but yet she shoots wolves from helicopters and practically clubs baby seals on cable television. Sorry if I don't buy your particular brand of bullshit.

Most people in this country believe that our problems can't be reduced to something you can drag out into the street and shoot. Sarah Palin has proudly taken herself out of that category, and that is her right as an American.

268 George Orwell (aka Eric Blair) asked this question in his book 1984: is the truth still the truth if only one person knows it? Is an event in the past "real" if no one can prove it happened? In short -- is reality mutable? Is the past fixed and inalterable, or is it simply a created construct that can be "brought up to date" in a constant series of changes and adjustments?

The Left pretty clearly hews to the "constructed" theory, in that all real-world events are subjected to a "symbol-reconciliation" process: does this event, word, or action conform to the accepted ethos and principles of the Left? If not, it is not the symbol that is changed (for that would require an admission of error), but rather the event -- the "narrative" is changed to conform to the symbol. Past actions and events are thus brought "up to date" and judged according to the ever-shifting sands of Leftist symbology.

I think this is why leftists, as a rule, dislike empiricism -- even those who go into empirical fields like mathematics and engineering.

Freedom, as Winston Smith says, is the freedom to say that two plus two equals four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Yesterday on FOX they said AZ has a rare law on the books that would allow the parents, teachers, cops, etc to lock this guy up for a 72 hour hold and force him to take his meds. When he ran away from parents the morning of the shooting, they knew something was wrong. All they had to do is pick up the f*cking phone. The mother has covered for her son and bailed him out waaayyy too many times. A parent doesn't bail out their kids time after time. they help them learn through the punishment.

Posted by: Cherry ð at January 12, 2011 01:24 PM (+sBB4) I've posted before that something similar happened to a friend (her sondeveloped schizophrenia and later committed suicide). Two things are happening. One is that behaviors often change gradually and you don't see how unstable they've become at first. We all live in families where you're dealing with each others funky quirks. The other is that by the time you realize something is wrong, you're fighting denial and trying to come to grips with how to deal with it.
My friend had a strong faith and was trying to help with prayer and keeping him constantly surrounded by family. It failed..the first second he was alone, he shot himself.

283 I'm kind of embarssed, but I must confess: I wasn't really aware of where the term 'blood libel' even came from. I was vaguely aware it had something to do with the Jews, but I've really only heard it used in modern politics; in fact, I thought it was quite common. Just goes to show how easily words and meanings change and how willing liberals are to change their views over sh!t like this, even though often they were saying the exact opposite thing 5 mins ago.

It's not that obvious, believe me. I work with those molesters and rapists. The ones who have done the worst things are the ones you think can't tie their owns shoes.

Not always. Some of them vacation in Gstaad and are celebrated "artists." But schizophrenics are noted for having poor hygiene.

286 This strikes me as another "death panels" moment. Palin chose words that infuriated the left so much they just have to repeat them and repeat them and repeat them... even though doing so simply awakens more and more people to their intentions.

Some molestors are out of the movies, some aren't...it would be easy if they all had a blinking red light on their heads. As for schizophrenics...out of control and off their meds are often dirty. If they also have OCD they may also exhibit hyper-cleanliness. Referring back to the first statement, in a familial setting, what a clinician may see, a family member may have tuned out long ago as an issue.

288 As far as the parenting question goes: schizophrenia, if it develops late, is very hard to deal with. You can't be with the person 24 hours a day, and sometimes the signs are fairly subtle until a psychotic break happens -- lots of schizophrenics don't act any weirder than any other teenage kid until the break happens. A parent is in a quandary: is the kid actually mentally ill, just acting weird, or what?

Insanity by definition is chaotic and random. Schizophrenics in particular are extraordinarily difficult to help because their condition is so unpredictable. It's clear that Loughner was giving clear signs of instability, but he hadn't committed any overtly violent acts as far as I know, so the question arises: on what grounds would someone have tried to commit him or had him put under arrest?

I don't blame his parents, his friends, the music industry, movies, or anything else for this tragedy. I don't even blame the kid, really. He was born with a defect in his brain. In a way it's no different than a guy who has a heart attack while driving and plows into some pedestrians. Much will turn on whether this kid really *is* a schizophrenic or not. The circumstances suggest strongly that he is, in which case he's not truly in control of himself. He needs to be institutionalized and treated.

This tragedy is like a tornado or a flood that kills innocent people, a reminder from God or Fate that we really are not in control of things, however much we'd like to believe that we are.

Yes. Remember that the Left ALWAYS accusing the Right of doing what it does. They are trying to stir up their own base. They want their own Category 3 people (h/t Ace) to do some real violence.

291 If Palin were a Democrat (with the same ideology) the Left would praise her as brilliant for using such a clever metaphor as "Blood Libel".

Ace says this false narrative is crazy.
Therefore, Ace is crazy.
But as Bohr remarked, [w]e are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question that
divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being
correct.
Just because you're crazy doesn't mean you can't be correct. Of course, being a drunken, short, furry hobo-hunting Ewok doesn't help. Or hurt, for that matter.
I've speculated that the next version of the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual that shrinks use) would classify conservatism as a mental disorder. As evidence, all the mental health studies over the last couple of year that show conservatives in a bad light.

295 If I were in Palin's shoes, where every word I uttered was anylized to death, I would simply offer the following words to the leftists:
Go fuck yourselves.

Hell, I'm just a small time blogger but I'll offer it up anyway. Hey, Daily KOS, MSNBC, Sheriff Dupnik, and the rest:
Go fuck yourselves. Analyze that, schmucks!

299 West/Palin in '12 would be a thing of utter beauty. West has that executive feel to him, whereas Palin is best as the administration bulldog who is free to do things like this and drive the lefties up the wall (think Cheney v2.0, except much more pleasant to look at).

300 As a disinterested observer I think all this isworking in Sarah Palin's favour. The more the left attacks her the more she is thrust into the media limelight. And despite the hype surrounding Obie's mythical public speaking skills SP is a far better set piece speaker (she opens her mouth and pronounced words, Obie's speech is sort of "I bbbbbzzzzzzmumble fair bbbbbbzzzzzzzzmumble me and Michelle bbbbbzzzzzzmumble".) Apart from that SP is out of sight better off the cuff andordinarypeople can relate to her. The left's smear campaignhas backfired.

302 another damn librul: "No one is saying she should be arrested or muzzled for what she has said
in the past, or what she is capable of saying in the future."

Oh, really? I wonder what Clyburn meant when he said this:

Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C): "The shooting is cause for the country to rethink parameters on free speech, Clyburn said from his office, just blocks from the South Carolina Statehouse. He wants standards put in place to guarantee balanced media coverage with a reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, in addition to calling on elected officials and media pundits to use 'better judgment.'""Free speech is as free speech does," he said. "You cannot yell 'fire' in a crowded theater and call it free speech and some of what I hear, and is being called free speech, is worse than that."[The Post Courier, Monday, January 10, 2011] (italics mine)

Clyburn's daughter, in fact, is an Obama-appointed FCC Commissioner. So here we have an interested politician with both a direct and indirect influence on communication policy in America and who happens to be in a position to a) regulate speech until it is overturned (potentially) in Court and b) happens to be one of the blood libelists. And you divine that he's not interested in muzzling or potentially arresting someone like - if not actually - the most powerful conservative in the Tea Party insurgency?

That would be an embicilic conclusion to draw or assertion to make. Or a disingenuous, hackish one. It cannot be anything else.

303 Sarah Palin's use of the term has the merit of being an
accurate parallel to the original meaning. Too many people use the term
"blood libel" to mean "a libel against the blood line of a certain group
of people."

Palin's use returns to the meaning of "a lie that accuses a
group of people of engaging in ritual and cultural practices that cause
death and destruction, with the express intent of smearing and
delegitimizing that group." That is exactly what the Left is doing: attempting to prove that the Right's rhetoric caused the tragedy in Tucson, thus taking away the right of the Right to speak.

304 Glenn Reynolds used the term "blood libel" in his article "The Arizona Tragedy and the Politics of Blood Libel" that was published online in the WSJ on MONDAY morning. He also used the term on his Instapundit blog in a few different posts on SUNDAY. Nobody started screeching about it until Sarah used it in her statement released YESTERDAY.

Inside a jewellery crafting class, you will have a teacher which could teach you getting such things as bead knotting and closing crimps done right. Out of your teacher, you may also learn many different associated with Thomas and Sabo, along with some tips in picking out your own personal designs and in all probability in setting up your own jewellery shop. One more apparent benifit of attending a category is that you arrive at share your learning experience with all the other people who are taking the class along with you. If you are a social particular person,Tom Sabo this chance for interaction with your peers can be quite a useful thing. You may also network with these once you establish Thomas Sabo Jewellery creating company in the foreseeable future.

307 You really get what you pay for with the Rosetta stone language courses . If you’re looking for other benefits, consider that fact that you don’t have to commute to college in order to learn a foreign language. Rosetta stone’s lack of compatibility with PDA’s is not a very serious drawback, especially if you don’t want to drive or walk to school anyway. If you intend to study a language entirely at home, then Rosetta stone is the best alternative to sitting in a class room. Another benefit of utilizing this powerful language learning tool is in preparation for a college course. You can use the software to learn the language and then fly through your college course, get a letter A grade, and apply the credits toward a degree or certificate. I think you will have interests to see rosetta stone discount
