The sad truth is that this has always been visible, just shielded by a complicit press, a large-minded public who wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and the fact that the campaign broke his way in a historic fashion.  Viewed in hindsight, incidents like flipping off Hillary, "lipstick on a pig", peevishness after being gently mocked in the primary debates, the self-aggrandizement in the campaign speeches (Office of the President Elect, anyone?) and the petty, small-minded inauguration speech are all of a piece.  Anyone paying attention before Obama became  President is not surprised.

I know what you mean, but I don't think so.  The Precedent ran into the rough nature of the reality of his sub-par intellect every time he had to be subjected to some objective measure.  He saw his SAT scores (which I put an upper bound of 940 on) and his LSAT scores.  He knows what a total moron he is.  Anyone who has paid attention to The Precedent has long known that he was a bobble-headed fool who couldn't think his way out of a paper bag.

First, let's say 50 Dems have read their constituents correctly and are planning to vote no.  Fine, but with something like $200 Billion of the Spendulus funds still unspent, Obastard's crew can offer these wavering congresscritters a *Billion dollars each* in pork for their districts, and not even draw any attention.  If the member still holds out, due to fear of losing the next election, what could the Crew offer a member to make it work his or her while to vote yes, against the majority of their constituents?  Well, where I live the rule of thumb is that ten percent of every state contract gets kicked back to the chair of the committee that approved it.  On a Billion dollar project (or group of projects) that would be...um...a cool $100 *million* bucks.

Worth losing an election for?  What do you think?

And for the record, a few GOP congresscritters would do the same thing if they could get away with it, but with the MSM monitoring every check, every contribution, every transaction, I think most feel they can't get away with it.  Dems, on the other hand, can count on getting a pass from the MSM, so...
