According to USAToday's Crowd-Size Estimator, the 9/12 Demonstration Drew Over One Million Citizens

The crowd-size estimator was provided for the Obama Inauguration, when USAToday may have had an interest in overstating the size of crowds.

Nevertheless. they cannot claim their guide is good in one situation and not in another.

And according to that estimator, the Tea Party drew over a million people.

Some Funny Signs: Hand-made, note. Not created by Organizing for America.

Here and here are some funny ones. The album's here.

Plus... The Boob Czar.

6 I've only seen two of Toronto's dailies over the past few days. One hasn't mentioned it at all (the liberal-leftist Toronto Star); and the other ran a bylined AP piece telling the "thousands" lie and including a photo of an Obama poster with a Hitler moustache drawn on it (the populist, 'works both sides of the street while mainly running wire service stories', tabloid Sun). So it was just like having a print version of CNN in front of me.

There are two pictures from Saturday from the Mall -- one showing people lined up along 4th Street, another of an empty Mall.

I'm all for people freely assembling and all, but when I was last in DC, Pennsylvania Avenue was only a fraction of the width of the Mall.

32 Note to the elites, as the debt increases and as does the stress to taxpayers, these crowds are only going to grow bigger. It is inevitable and that's what has the Palace Guards so scared.

Over the weekend a million protesters put a stake in the ground and said that our country is headed off a cliff. When the cliff is within site (either via hyper-inflation, job-crushing tax increases, or permanently high unemployment), Tea Party folks are going to have an overwhelming majority on their side.

34 This is why if you can hold a demonstration in DC you want to do it on Friday. If you have a huge crowd you;ll become the major weekend story. You'll give the press enough time to get the FULL story, at least to the best you can trust them to cover it, before their Sunday morning paper deadlines.

Remember, the Sunday editions start printing around midnight on Friday. To make the NY Times you need to precede this deadline.

Boob Czar and demonstrators that clean up after themselves.

Fiscal Conservatism is the most popular political philosophy in the United States. Attempts to brand it as racism by the likes of Salon and the Huffington Post will not work.

Most Americans are already fiscally conservative with their individual and family budgets. Do not insult their intelligence.

Average Americans are becoming increasingly frustrated with a government that's out of touch and unresponsive. Take just one example: drilling for oil. Nearly 70% of us want to drill for our own oil, yet a few in Washington are preventing it, keeping prices high and people out of work, and generally creating a problem where there wasn't one before.
If The Vapid One didn't soil his panties during the flyover of the protest on Saturday, he will soon when he realizes his plans for a socialist takeover won't happen.

The areas in the United States were the decline of the Big 3 auto makers has had the greatest impact on their economies are also the same areas where oil tar sands have the greatest supply.

A team of Rockefellers is going to have to come along and find a way to harvest those oil tar sands while massaging or just declaring war on the EPA. We need Teddy Roosevelt 2.0 and Commodore Vanderbilt 2.0 in a big way right now. We need someone willing to go to war with the Feds.

We need someone willing to go to war with the Feds.
Ahhnold could be it, but he'd have to grow a pair first. The issue of water redistribution in CA is ripe for an intervention. The EPA has determined that water be diverted away from farmlands so as not to harm some insignificantfish, putting a lot of people out of work, reducing food production and generally creating a problem where one didn't exist before. All that needs to be done is for him to turn on the water valves and await a visit from the Feds.
It won't happen, but I can dream, can't I?

I wonder if blacks who don't like Obama are in kind of a bind like that of people in the Muslim world who don't support terrorism--i.e., afraid to speak out. Of course, Muslims who speak out are likely to be beheaded or blown up. Blacks who speak out against Obama are only likely to be vilified and ostracized. But that can feel like a living death....

I do wonder how many blacks are at least uneasy with the way things are going. Obviously, the MSM will never cover such folks....
