I know you young people are loathe to hear this, because you all seem to think you, too should be able to start at or near the top of a field without learning the ropes over time and "paying your dues." But no matter how smart and exceptional you think you are, you aren't. Let Obama's bumbling buffoonery be an example to you.

3. You aren't married to a political party for life. Just because you spent the last couple of years hating Bush and making Cheney jokes doesn't mean you are stuck with the corrupt and stupid Democrats. Give the Republicans another look in 2010. There is nothing like a couple of years out of power to cleanse the mind.

I hope you all will take these lessons to heart in the spirit in which they are given. If not, remember we do hold you personally responsible for electing this incompetent fuck and his radical pals, and at the very least you should refrain from ever voting again until you repent and decide to learn to do better.

-turn all the burners on my range (electric) all the way up and turn the oven to broil, leaving the door open

-turn on all the lights

-defrag my hard drive

-run my bedside fan

-charge my cell phone and mp3 player

-sit outside and enjoy some beers while I watch the electric meter spin like Rahm Emmanuel in a ballerina costume!
