Yes, by buzzing the tower!

Dude, that's fucking deranged. I mean, it's one thing to hear a juicy gossip and get a raging boner over it, and another to make yourself into an ass by following it up, and quite another thing to delude yourself into this incredibly twisted multifaceted crazy Bilderberger conspiracy theory.

Jesus, I'm hoping the Atlantic retires Sully out of mercy. He needs serious help.

19 Just heard on the Senate floor:

"Senator Obama's plan to increase the national debt by a trillion and a half dollars is not consistent with his pledge to lower the national debt and return to being 'fiscally responsible' at all".

"Senator Obama has changed his definition of the middle class from (I think he said $44,000) to $66,000, so, needless to say if you make more than $66,000 you cannot expect a tax cut."

That last quote is a bit paraphrased because the guy is talking so fast, but whoever this senator guy is he's ripping Obama up. He's calling Obama out for saying that McCain wouldn't provide tax relief.

Booben, you make a great circumstantial case.  I think Andrew should release his medical records so that we can learn whether he's ever seen a psychiatrist.

Once that's settled, and it should be very easy for Andrew to release his records, we can move on.

It's a legitimate issue.  Truly, if you were Sarah Palin, and you knew that Andrew was going to attend a campaign event, wouldn't you want to have extra security?

38 So, the median income is about $50,000 then, if my math is right?  Given that $50k is higher than the median income nationwide, it reasons that these locals are more well to do than the average American.  Hence, The Palin's MIGHTY $250k really isn't so powerful.  I think its more likely that Michelle Obama's $300k+ salary and whatever Barry O pulled down could be used to push around city dwellers below the median poverty line.

There's not a hospital in the US that could be "intimidated" by that amount of cash.  That particular hospital made $32 million last year.  Andi's mental function (and relevance) continue to shrink beyond the microscopic level.

Deigned to interrupt my reaming, reaming of my bath-house whore.

No, Andrew Sullivan, OBGYN/CPA.  That requires Kennedyesque levels of money.

Besides, if you take away from the $250k the political salary (~$100k?) you get a respectable number for a working family - but a lower class number for places like, say, P-town.

Andrew, seriously, get a physical.

The insanity caused by late-stage syphilis was once one of the more common forms of dementia; this was known as the general paresis of the insane. One suspected example is the insanity of noted composer Robert Schumann, although the precise cause of his death is still disputed by scholars.

The Russian author Leo Tolstoy suffered from syphilis during his youth, which was treated using arsenic treatment.

A recent article in the European Journal of Neurology (June 2004) hypothesized that the founder of communism in Russia, Vladimir IIyich Lenin, died of neurosyphilis.

Karen Blixen, the author of Out of Africa, contracted syphilis from her husband while living in Africa. He had contracted the disease from an African woman with whom he had been unfaithful. After having undergone treatment in Denmark, she returned to Africa. Blixen was unable to have children.

I used to live in Alaska and private airplanes are almost as commonplace there as SUVs in suburbia in the Lower 48.  It seems like every other Alaskan has a private pilot's license and either owns or rents a private plane.  You can barely get around the state without one.  They aren't a plaything of the wealthy.  Hell, I had a private pilot's license myself and flew a lot when I lived there.

And a half million dollar house isn't a mansion either. North Slope workers don't make peanuts so Todd Sullivan probably does pretty well himself.  The Palin's are a two income family that has done pretty well.  So what?  I really think Sullivan is mentally ill.

60 I've given this some thought and clearly we've all missed the point. Andrew Sullivan is a journalist and he's just doing his job. As a journalist, his job is to ask questions. He believes that Trig Palin is an election prop, cooked up by his sister Bristol and appropriated by Sarah Palin. He believes that he has uncovered the biggest presidential/vice-presidential election cover-up since Watergate. Bigger than Woodward and Bernstein. It's not All the President's Men, it's.... The Governor's Gynecologist. In his mind, there's a huge book advance in his future and a best selling novel to boot. The book will be made into a major motion picture, starring Jason Alexander as the brilliant yet misunderstood political blogger. Don't you see? He's just one intimidated hospital employee source away from hitting the big time.

$500,000 for a house? That's not nearly as impressive as a $1.6million one (particularly when its fair market value is $2.6million, once the neighboring lot is abandoned back to the original tract).

Just how many hospitals in the US are intimidated?  But why bother, when $1million seems to work nicely (signs indicate that the hospital will be so grateful that if one's wife works there, she is likely to get a 180% pay raise).

How does he square this with his "bad mom" complaints that her water broke in Texas and she spent allllllll that time on a plane to get back to Alaska (and her husband and family) ?  Did Bristol give her mom a bottle of.... ya know.  Screw it, I'm not even gonna go there.

87 I think the AIDS has finally destroyed Andrew's brain.  Well, not finally.  It seems to have happened a couple years back.

It's so sad.

89 What is the multiplier of the average Chicagoan's income that you need to get to $510K? (Michele Obama's 330K Salary + Barak Obama's 180K Salary).  I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it iis more than 5.  Or 8.  Probably about 10.

Wikipedia gives the median income in Chicago as $38,600.

91 The truth is the Palins found Trig wrapped in blue and red blankets with a big "S" on the front, in a small rocketship meteor with crystals sticking out of it that crashed near their home.

Does anyone know what Andrew's middle name is?

It's Probably Steve.  So his initials are probably  "A.S.S."

93 A lot of gay men hate "breeders."

Well, I think in this case, Andi saw the beauty pageant video on youtube and is furious that Sarah has better legs than he does.

94 Who is this "Andrew Sullivan"? I don't believe we've ever met.

Lucky. Believe me, I'd love to get rid of him.

Posted by: The Human Immunodeficiency Virus at September 30, 2008 04:13 PM (NV3P1)

95      Sullied is so wackamundied because the Palins are just so, well, natural, and the P-town prancer's self styled "bear" identification appropriates elements of normal regular guy maleness, e.g., flannel shirts,  facial hair, beer, to style a kind of self-conscious hyper- maleness,  and yet he must know on some level he and his buds actually look like the wimp-ass, freakazoid nancy boys who are the true expressions of their inner Andiness.

It making he sooo mad because ape it as he may, alas, his very bestest effort, Sullied and de' other tea dance fairy "bears" just lack that certain verisimilitude.

And recall that for Sullivan,  Provincetown in the Summer and urban "gay" neighborhoods are the parameters of the "normal" range.

That would mean pretty much anyone who isn't a freak is by definition here in flyover country, is a freak to AS.

101

For many years I read Sullivan almost daily. I stopped, without having deliberately decided to do so, about a month ago. The other day I suddenly realized "Hey, I haven't read Sullivan in weeks," as in, hey, what's up with my neighbor's dog?

I doubt I'll ever read him again.

The Sullivan screen shot Ace put up made me laugh. I've never just laughed at a Sullivan post before.

The man needs help.

Sad.

102 First, we have that Sarah is too; stupid, naive, inexperienced, close-minded, out-of-touch, anti-female, etc. Now we have, "Are the Palin's common enough?". Is identity politics the only card the Obama camp has to play besides anti-Bushism?

What a sad, sad world we'll soon be living in when my $500k house (well, actually its $600k, but who is counting?) makes me a rich, greedy, pig? Maybe Barack will help me redistribute my wealth...

Posted by: Patrick at September 30, 2008 06:20 PM (rXFhV)

105 If each person commenting and reading here requested Drudge take Sullivan off his page, maybe he'd listen. Give it a shot, maybe? Without those hits, Sullivan would lose a lot of prestige and value to Atlantic.

106 Once inside the clinic, searching, records of the changeling urchin,
Sought I hard to locate, lurching back and forth from file to file,
I then knew that I must find a path into that sweet vagina
Traveled one less time than five by Todd -- his last the Piper-child.
If too small for my man-pistol, that would show that only Bristol
Could the newest little kiddle in the growing brood have bore.
Quoth the Palin: "Make me sore."

Gladly then I did oblige her, tried to force my rod inside her,
But it would not slide and I of course announced my proof to all:
"How could baby Trig have trickled out of twat my prick can't tickle
Twat in which I can't stick dick in quickly, and then drain my balls?
Quoth the Palin: "Let him snore."

With that last word came the creeping revelation I'd been sleeping
In my office, drink and seeping feces from my anal pore.
Only in my dreams triumphing, after passing out dry-humping
Both my beagles and then bumping my head on the bathroom floor.
So it seems my great adventure sprung to life from AIDS dementia
And as quickly ended with me mouth-raped by the janitor.
Just his cock, and nothing more.

108 Andi: Their combined income...

Hey, Andi, jackass:

You realise how much it COSTS to live in Alaska? Do you know how much real estate is? Yeah, they have a single engine plane...Have you noticed the dearth of roads in the state, especially north of Nome? Notice there's lots of water around Alaska? Think there might be a need for a couple of boats?

Fucking jackass. And, pray tell, Sully, how much is YOUR house worth in G-town, eh?

Posted by: cheshirecat at September 30, 2008 10:19 PM (lhDtH)

110 I used to live in Alaska and private airplanes are almost as commonplace there as SUVs in suburbia in the Lower 48. It seems like every other Alaskan has a private pilot's license and either owns or rents a private plane. You can barely get around the state without one. They aren't a plaything of the wealthy. Hell, I had a private pilot's license myself and flew a lot when I lived there.

Exactly, and it's a single engine...we are talking Piper or Cessna here, not a fucking Gulfstream or Learjet. What a fucking dick (pun intended) Andi is.

112 In Andi's arse were milky loads,
A stately pleasure-hole to see:
Where Dick, the muscle raw glute came
In caverns measureless to fame
Down in a stinky glee.

So twice five miles of fertile ground
With sphincters tight were girdled round:
And there were hem'roids bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an polyp-bearing sty;
And here were conquests ancient lie,
Nar'y a spot of greenery.

I love how he calls it a "custom built home" that is "WORTH" more than the average of other stuff in that town.  This is, I'm guessing, the house her husband and his buddy built? We're supposed to be upset that a lady's husband freaking built their house! Because it's "custom" built?

Man, I really think he has a mental problem.  Also, I love the parsing of words on "personal watercraft" because living in Arkansas I think about all the people I know who might have a boat or two and totally not be rich.  You know, babe, people who live out of the cities who are not rich have boats and four wheelers and snow mobiles and whatever else.  That stuff is not that expensive, especially if you buy it used.  Whatever.
